I hurried up to my room and turned on the light. I stripped from my T-shirt and jeans before going into my closet.

What should I even wear? I suppose something simple? Shorts? No, that's too simple. I don't want to wear more jeans. They're too hot.

I settled on a dress. A short sleeve, (f/c) dress that stopped a bit before my knees. I slipped on a pair of sandals and brushed my hair back into a ponytail.

I sat down on my bed and got my phone. Everyone decided I needed one incase I ever got lost or something happened while I was alone. I looked through my pictures which were mostly of me and Sonic. We took so many pictures when I first got it.

I smiled as I scrolled through them. When I finished, I still had a little time before Sonic would be coming inside so I decided to head downstairs.

My stomach fluttered as I began to think about what I was going to say to him.

Sonic's POV~

It was a little tough but I finally got away from the party. Everyone wanted to talk and dance but I just couldn't focus on them.

I wanted to see (Y/n). I was gonna tell her that I loved her when we were dancing but I chickened out.

It took me a little longer than anticipated to leave but I hope she's still waiting for me.

I walked inside, closing the door behind myself. I took a breath before walking into the living room.

"Hey, I'm sorry I took so long. What-"

(Y/n) was nowhere to be found. A guy was on the floor beside the couch, his head bloody. His eyes were closed.

"Oh my chaos! Dude, are you okay?!"I asked, running over. I got on my knees beside him and pressed my ear to his chest. His heart was still beating but his breathing was light.

Shit. What the hell happened?!

I ran back outside to get Rouge, Shadow, and Silver. We hurried back inside after I attempted to explain outside but my mouth was just taking a mind of its own.

"What?! What happened?"Silver asked. "I-I don't know! I was supposed to meet (Y/n) here and I walked in and this dude was here!"I explained. "Where's (Y/n)?!"Rouge asked.

"I-I don't...I just- Oh chaos,"I sighed. "Hey, hey! Calm down, okay? I'm sure she's fine. Just go look for her and we'll take care of him,"Shadow said, taking hold of my shoulders.

I nodded before bolting up the stairs. I burst inside (Y/n)'s room. The lights were off. She was bundled up in a blanket on the floor. She was shivering heavily.

"P-Please leave m-me alone."

I closed the door behind myself, cutting the lights on. "(Y/n), it's me,"I said softly. I sat down on the floor beside her shivering form. "Will you come out from under the blanket?"I asked gently.

"I-I-I can't."
"Okay...do you know what happened to that guy downstairs?"

She let out a soft sob before sniffling. "I just...I was there waiting for you. He came in and we talked. I-It was all so fast! He got on top of me and I tried to get him off and-and before I knew it, I punched him!"

I moved closer to her, gently wrapping my arms around her. She curled up into my arms.

"I didn't m-m-mean to! I punched him too hard and he fell and wasn't moving! I-I j-just wanted him off! I didn't mean to h-hurt him!"
