A/n: Hey, everyone! I've decided to make a sequel from one of my best books- "What If Morro Took Sensei's Hand?". If you haven't read it already, I suggest reading it before starting this story. Thanks to everyone who's been reading my books, I'm forever grateful for your support. I hope you continue reading my books in the near future.

This book takes place during the Day Of The Departed, after season six of Ninjago.

I hope you enjoy my sequel! Happy reading, friends! Note that this book will probably be completely third-person POV.

"Guys, we have to go faster if we want to make it!"

"Sensei, are we close?" Cole asks. Sensei scratches his beard in thought. "You may make it if you speed up."

"Everyone, let's combine our vehicles!" Jay shouts, slamming the accelerator of his personal jet. The ninja slowly merge their vehicles. Everyone slams the accelerator in their vehicle, causing the fully-merged vehicle to move at an impossible speed.

~~~~~~
"Thank goodness we made it in time for the gift shop!" Jay exclaims, popping a piece of candy in his mouth. He savors the tart morsel before swallowing it. "Yeah," Zane exclaims, "The Day Of The Departed is not complete without a Day Of The Departed lantern."
"The best part of the Day Of The Departed is the candy. Hit me, kid," Jay says to a kid walking beside him. The kid tosses the candy in the air, and Jay catches it. He pops it in his mouth, savoring the mouth-watering flavor once again. He sighs contently and stares at the illuminated night sky.
"Hello, I'm Dr. Saunders. I'd like to show you guys the newest museum exhibit." Sensei Wu nods, and Dr. Saunders directs the ninja to the museum.
Cole spots the Yin Blade, the blade that Yang once possessed. "Morro," Cole whispers, "Look!" Morro follows Cole and gasps. "It's encased in Deepstone- it's inside of an indestructible case."
Cole slowly puts his hand through the case. "Weird," he says, "I didn't know I could faze through something indestructible." Morro only stares at the case as well, putting his sickly-green hand through it. They both shudder at the feeling before forcefully pulling their hands away.
"Look, the Yin Blade!" Jay exclaims, walking right through Cole. "Hey!" Cole hisses, "Watch it, Jay!" Morro chuckles- but stops when Kai walks straight through him. "Watch it, Kai!"
Cole waves his hand in front of Sensei's face. "It's like they don't see us anymore! It's like- we don't exist..." Cole continues to observe the Yin Blade with Morro. By the time they realize it, the ninja and Sensei are long gone.
"Thank you for the informative tour, Dr. Saunders," Sensei says. "Now ninja, remember: The Day Of The Departed is to remember what we lost, yes, but also to remember what we have."
The ninja drive away mindlessly, leaving the two ghosts behind. The two ghosts watch in horror- how could the ninja have forgotten them?
"Cole...," A voice whispers, causing Cole to jump. "Morro..."
"That's- not normal," Cole says. Just then, the painting above the Yin Blade moves around, in an odd motion. "Yang," Cole whispers, pointing towards the possessed painting.
"Hello, Cole. Hello, Morro. As you can see, everyone's forgotten about you," Yang says, with a smirk on his face. Cole growls. "They'd never forget about us, Yang!"
This causes Yang to chuckle. "Oh, Cole. Are you really that stupid? Why do you think your friends can't hear you? Why they can't see you?" Cole remains silent, knowing deep inside that Yang's correct- he's been forgotten.
Morro puts his hand on Cole's shoulder. "Don't listen to him- he's the one who caused this." Cole sighs, and puts his hand through the Deepstone case. "I'm going to stop Yang once and for all," he growls. "You coming, Morro?"
Morro nods and takes a quick look back at the possessed painting before following the forgotten Earth ninja.
~~~~~~

Cole and Morro take a great leap into the night sky, spinning into a marvelous tornado. This tornado grants them the ability to take flight temporarily. They land right before the temple, the moonlight glowing just above them.

Morro follows a furious Cole, who is currently holding the Yin Blade right in front of him defensively. "Yang, I know you're in here!" Cole shouts.

The doors behind the two ghosts slam shut, causing Morro to jump. "Hello, Cole," Yang greets, a devilish smile creeping up his lips. His smile quickly turns into a frown. "Is that the Yin Blade? I thought that it's encased in Deepstone!" Yang says dramatically. Cole doesn't seem to understand Yang's sarcasm- and he lunges towards him.

"Cole, that might not be a good idea-!" Morro warns, but Cole ignores him. Cole attempts to swing the blade at Yang, but Yang hops out of the way. Instead, the blade smashes into a vase- and black smoke spills out of it.

Yang cackles. Cole gives him a confused look. "What's so funny?"

"This, all of this! You've unwillingly caused a lot of trouble for your friends..."

Before Morro and Cole can react, over a dozen of Yang's possessed students place Vengestone cuffs over their wrist. Yang easily plucks the Yin Blade out of Cole's grasp, causing Cole to growl. "Our friends will come for us. When they see that Morro and I are missing, they'll come looking for us!"

Yang laughs uncontrollably. "See you're missing? Look at yourselves! You can hardly see yourselves! You guys are just two lonely ghosts- you don't belong anywhere." Yang nudges one of his students. "Watch them, just in case," he says, before exiting the room.

~~~~~~
Black smoke swarms all over Ninjago City, infecting all of the Day Of The Departed lanterns. The black smoke finally reaches its target location: the museum.
Each statue of a fallen villain gets struck by the mysterious black smoke, and they blink to life.
