Unexpected (Neji x Oc)

Chapter 20: Night 4

Kyla Pov:

I changed into a light pink elegant dress that had a jewelled waist band and a netted shoulder strap, I brushed my hair and it curled slightly before I tired half up in a plait, I then pushed two earnings through the designated holes in my ears.

Neji wore a black long sleeved shirt with a pink tie and typical suit trousers, but unlike the previous nights he didn't wear a blazer. His hair was left down, decorating his shoulders.

He held his arm out for me to take which I gracefully did so before we headed on out to the party. When we entered, we instantly knew... something wasn't right, Neji pushed me behind him as we walked forward and i'm not sure if he did it instinctively or purposefully. As we moved closer into the room, everybody was stood as close to he walls as they could so I asked "whats going on" I asked it loudly so somebody would answer my question, but everybody stared at us before an ear splitting scream radiated from the back where a man had pulled a girl into the centre of the room, the room was dark, the only lights on were on the walls leaving the centre dark, but not to dark to be able to see, the man was tall and definitely well built, I closed my eyes and counted, 5, there are five ninja here not including Neji an myself "there's five of them" I muttered so Neji would hear me and I saw him nod slightly to tell me he heard me.

"Get to the sides of the room or we'll kill you!" I man aggressively told us as he approached us and I smiled sweetly at him, stepping from behind Neji "I'm sorry but you'll find, we will be the ones killing you" I replied to him in a calm angelic tones before pulling a kunai out of my pouch still smiling at him, he glared at me before looking shocked "you... you're that Uchiha chick, the one who took Kisame down" I smiled at him before flashing my sharingan on to 3 tome.

"Lads! don't look her in the eye, or you'll be one for" I sighed, these idiots aren't worth my genjutsu, but if they aren't looking at me they'll be at a disadvantage in this fight, and that may be better. 

Neji activated his byakygan and we exchanged a look, we needed to do this a cleanly as possible, this is still a party after all, Neji took the main guy while his four minions came for me, the one noticed my sharingan and told the others the tsukyomi wont work, and he was right, I'm not using the right sharingan for it, but that doesn't make me weak.

I quickly made some signs and threw my clans infamous fire ball jutsu at them, burning two of them a little, and I set off the smoke alarm, but oh well, at least there was no damage to surroundings. One of the ninja sent water bullets at me while one from behind changed at me with a kunai, I couldn't move back, the other tow are at my sides, one direction left, I jumped as high as possible to avoid both attacks but sadly one bullet sliced my ankle, causing the water to turn red with my blood, damn it.

I landed back on my feet as pain soared through my ankle, I had landed behind the Kunai guy, who had been hit by all of the remaining bullets, he was now on the floor covered in blood and unconscious, bloody hell those water bullets are strong, I looked at the jutsu caster, he was good, the man on my right started weaving hand signs, but before he could finish I had thrown a kunai at his head that he effortlessly dodge before it exploded ripping his ear off and scorching half his face, he screamed out in pain, but he remained standing, that was typically enough to knock somebody out from blood loss, but not everybody is the same.

I looked at the three remaining guys, Taijutsu was out of the picture with my ankle, it would almost definitely slow me down, I glanced towards Neji's battle to see he was getting out of breath and the guy only had a few scratches on him, shit.

All three of my opponents charged at me simultaneously, Kunai's in hand, I would have jumped like last time, but my ankle, and they know it...

I reached out and grabbed one of the guys hands, slicing through my own before spinning him around and throwing him at his team mates, knocking them all off of their feet, in an instance later I had two clones by my side and we had kunai up against there throats, the one with the burnt face was having trouble breathing, and I knew he was ready to ass out, I nodded at my clone and she instantly knocked him out and got off him, poofing away, 2 left, my other clone was impaled through he stomach disappearing in a poof, I took this moment to stab the ninja I'm on deeply in the stomach so they will pass out from blood loss, but hopefully not die.

I rose to my feet, just like the other who did, 3 down... 1 to go, he made quick hand signs and I did the same, he threw a water ball at me, and I blocked it with my fireball jutsu, this put the smoke alarms on again making me sigh, its noisy, but look at my chances, the final guy is the water guy...

He smirked at me before saying "lets dance princess" I smirked back he charged at me and I stepped back and started making hand signs at lightning speed, I will not engage in taijutsu.

"Whats wrong kit, is your ankle hurting?" he asked snarly, I glared at him before he stepped on my ankle making me scream out in pain, Neji looked over at us worried and I smiled at him weakly, before I punched the guy square in the face, pushing him away from me before weaving the signs I had previously tried making before muttering "fire vortex" this created a hurricane made of fire that surrounded the final ninja engulfing his body before he fell unconscious... and possibly dead. I sealed all of my victims in a scroll, just in case they wake up.

I looked over at Neji, he was breathing heavily standing over the main guys body, I started walking towards him, when he started falling backwards, I ran towards him and caught him just as he was about to hit the ground. "You did well" I muttered before kissing his forehead, he was exhausted. I lay his head gently on the floor before going over to his opponent and sealing him in another scroll, I placed the five scrolls in a different scroll so it didn't take up too much space, I then slipped them into my ninja pouch before turning around and smiling at the guests around the sides of the room "you're safe now, so enjoy your party" I then walked over to lord Tenzo, "Sir, I wish to leave to treat my partners wounds, we will be back tomorrow" He nodded and I picked Neji up and teleported to the room we were staying in, I lay him on the bed and cleaned his wounds and stripped him to his boxers, knowing that's how he prefers to sleep, I then tucked him into bed before I went into the bathroom to take my makeup off and changed into my night wear, I then disinfected and bandaged my ankle before climbing into bed next to Neji, being careful not to touch him just in case it caused him pain, and then I went to sleep.
