Izuku was quiet during his lessons. Shinso would probably be comatose for s while at least. He could always get Kurogiri to warp him into his room after school, though he would have to find out which room he was in. But if Shinso died right after he found out the room, that would be suspicious so he would have to wait a while before he could act.Eventually, class ended and everyone headed for lunch. Izuku met with Uraraka and Iida and they made their way to their usual table. Izuku didnt say s word to them.
"Hey, Midoriya?" Uraraka asked. Izuku looked up at her, making sure he looked sufficiently upset. "Where's Shinso? And why do you seem so down today? Is something wrong?"
Izuku pushed his food around his plate for a bit before speaking, not meeting Uraraka's eyes. "Sh-shinso's in hospital. S-someone threw him o-out of the classroom window."
"What!?" Iida and Uraraka jumped to their feet. "How? Why? Is he okay?"
Izuku started to cry. "I-I was told that he was having surgery. They don't know who did it. A-and..." Izuku gulped "I was told his chances of survival are low."
Uraraka fell back into her seat, staring at her food, not touching any of it.
"Can we visit him?"
Izuku shook his head then looked up at Iida, happy that he had enough tears rolling down his cheeks. However, someone else was stood behind Iida, looking down at Izuku with confusion.
"T-Todoroki!" He quickly wiped the tears from his eyes. "I-I didn't expect to see you!"
Todoroki looked down at Izuku emotionlessly. "You didn't tell me you went to UA."
"H-huh? O-oh, right. Sorry about that. I'm in general studies. Dad didn't want me in the hero course. He thinks it's too dangerous."
Todoroki nodded and sat down next to Izuku, Uraraka and Iida watching him.
"Midoriya, I didn't know you and Todoroki were acquainted." Iida said, eyes flicking between the two.
"We met out of school and I help Todoroki with anything I can. Oh! Todoroki, do you want to come to my house tonight? My dad should be fine with it, I'll text him."
Todoroki nodded slowly. "Yeah. I'll tell Fuyumi. Dad should be okay with it."
Of course, that was a lie. Endeavour would be furious. Todoroki would be skipping one of his "training sessions" but neither Izuku or Todoroki cared. They both knew that it would be the last time.
Izuku then took his phone out, not to text Tomura though. He just wanted to check his texts. He wasn't planning on texting Tomura about Todoroki coming, he knew exactly what would happen if he did that.
Tomura would immediately call him and go on a rant about not telling him about trying to recruit Todoroki and would say that Todoroki couldn't come until he had proven himself as trustworthy. Luckily for Izuku, Kurogiri had to follow his orders, so getting Todoroki home without Tomura knowing would be easy.
He dropped his phone back into his pocket and smiled around at his friends.
"Hey, isn't the sports festival soon?"
***
Izuku lead Todoroki into a nearby alleyway where Kurogiri stood waiting.
"Hey, Kurogiri. Open a portal into my bedroom."
Kurogiri did as ordered and a swirling black and purple portal appeared. Without warning, Izuku shoved Todoroki through and had Kurogiri close the portal before having him open another to the bar, where he normally arrived when he came home from school.
He stepped through and looked up at Tomura who sat at the bar, sipping at a drink.
"Hey, dad!" He yelled, running over and wrapping his arms around the blue haired villain. Tomura looked down at Izuku and grinned, rifling the boy's emerald hair.
"How was school? I heard from Kurishima that the sports festival is approaching."
Izuku nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! I wanna try my best in it! Non-hero course students can use anything, so long as they made it, and I have some hero course students, so I think I might be able to do okay."
Tomura laughed and smiled down at Izuku. "Just don't stand out too much, okay? We can't have you getting recognised."
Izuku nodded. "Okay! I promise!"
He gave Tomura one past hug before walking from the bar to where he spotted Todoroki standing, watching the two of them. He raised his finger to his lips, silently telling Todoroki to stay silent, and lead him back down the hall to his bedroom, where he locked the door and turned to the split haired boy.
"Okay, so, have you heard of the hero killer, Stain?" Todoroki nodded and Izku grinned. "He kills heroes he seems unworthy, false heroes. We should make Endeavor's murder look like one of his. Dad won't like it, he hates the hero killer, but I think this is the best way to cover it up."
Todoroki tilted his head, listening and absorbing everything Izuku told him.
"But, first. The sports festival."
***
Izuku shook Todoroki awake in the morning. He hadn't had the chance to talk to Kurogiri without Tomura overhearing, so he had stayed the night.
Todoroki slowly sat up and blinked at Izuku who gave him a toothy grin and passed him some clothes. "Sorry if they're a bit small but you don't want to wear your school uniform on a weekend."
Todoroki took the clothes and Izuku told him to head to the bat when he was done, then headed there himself to get breakfast.
"Hey, Dad." He smiled as he saw Tomura, half asleep with his head on the bar. Tomura blinked and sat up, giving Izuku a half hearted smile.
Izuku grabbed a bowl and started pouring cereal before suddenly stopping and looked over at Tomura. "Oh, sorry in advance."
Tomura took a few seconds to respond. "For what? What did you do?" He said exasperated.
Izuku smiled innocently and pointed at the doorway, where Todoroki stood, wearing Izuku's All Might t-shirt (All Might clothing is a pretty good disguise for a villain).
Todoroki looked at Tomura and, with a completely emotionless voice, said "Why is Kirishima here?"
Sure enough, Kirishima was stood behind Todoroki, looking annoyed. "Just fucking let me past. I'm hungry."
Izuku tilted his head. "I didn't know Kirishima was here. He didn't come home with us yesterday."
Tomura glared up at Izuku. "Could you stop changing the subject and just tell me WHY YOU BROUHT A RANDOM HERO COURSE STUDENT HOME WITH YOU?"
Izuku smiled innocently and put down his boel of cereal. "Fine. Todoroki, cereal is in here, just grab what you want."
