Talia

I pulled away from Avery and stared at her face. Her lips were swollen and her eyes wide looking at me. We stared at each other for a while, she didn't seem to mind that I had just abruptly kissed her. I leaned in again and started to kiss her again. Her lips tasted like strawberry and were soft. She kissed me back again and I held on to her cheek and neck lightly. The way she kept whimpering in my mouth made me want to lay her down on the grass and be above her. But I couldn't take this further. I instead continued kissing her, and she kissed me back, because even though I couldn't go any further with her right now this was all I wanted to do. I moved my hand from her neck to run it through her long silky hair. As my fingers tangled in her hair she moaned lightly. I tried to ignore the growing sensation in my body as I deepened our kiss. I couldn't cope with us sitting up like this. I leaned forward and slowly lowered her, so she was lying down in the grass. She didn't seem to mind. I leaned over her as we kissed. She moved her hands into my hair, and I couldn't help but moan a little. Every time I touched her, she would react with me perfectly. I felt the urge to lower my kiss onto her neck but knew it wasn't the right time for that. Maybe I should pull away before this gets any further. I pulled away from her mouth and looked down at her glistening eyes. She tried to pull my face back down to hers, but I resisted.

"Avery," I said.

"Just kiss me," she whispered. I was surprised to see that she wanted this as much as I did.

"Avery," I said again.

"Please."

I leaned back down and placed my lips on hers again.

The music abruptly stopped. I had forgotten it was there, but it cutting off caused it to catch my attention. The phone started ringing. I pulled away from Avery and looked over at my phone on the grass beside us. Avery sat up and looked too. Jordon's name lit up on the screen. I hit decline, not needing Jordon to interrupt our kissing.

"What if it's important?" Avery asked.

"Nothing Jordon has to say could be important." I answered and put my hand on her face. I leaned in to kiss her again, but she pulled away. I then felt a vibration coming from Avery's pockets. She reached into her pocket and answered the phone.

"Hey.... no... okay fine, yes... we are just talking... no Jordon, don't come... Jordon... okay see you in 10 then I guess... bye." She then put the phone back in her pocket.

"He is coming to meet us here." She said, sounding annoyed. I groaned and leaned back in the grass. He really had to interrupt this moment. I had been waiting for so long for this.

"You shouldn't have answered." I said annoyed. Her face appeared on top of mine. She placed a kiss on my forehead, causing me to feel like a baby.

"It's okay." She whispered and then kissed my forehead again. She then pulled away and I watched her fix her hair into a ponytail. I sat up and grabbed my phone. I paused the music and moved away from Avery so Jordon wouldn't suspect anything. A few minutes later we heard ruffling in the trees.

"Jordon?" Avery called out. We both hoped that this was Jordon and not some murderer.

"Hey, guys," he said, submersing from the trees. He was wearing a hoodie and sweatpants. He walked closer and sat right between Avery and me. I rolled my eyes, what was this behaviour? Was he really this big of an attention whore?

"So, what are you guys doing?" He asked wrapping his arms around us.

"We were just chatting." I lied, he could not know about Avery and I's kiss, he would flip.
