A/N this is going to be when Sasuke leaves the village so most if not all dialogue will be as it is in the episode. I'll just be putting how we wanted Sasuke to act
Sasuke walked down the street towards the village gate, hands in his pockets with his head down. The sound ninja made an offer that was too good to pass up. He was leaving the village, tonight. It didn't take him long to pack, he spent more time waiting than anything. He couldn't walk through the gates during the day, too many people walking around that would stop him. He waited until it was almost midnight before he left the Uchiha compound, looking at their Team 7 photo one last time before facing it down. It was the only place he had ever called home, but he had to leave it behind to avenge them.

As he neared the gate he saw the last person he would have ever expected to see. The last person he wanted to see. The only person who might be able to convince him he was wrong and make him stay.

Sakura.

The moonlight made her look beautiful, casting an eerie bright glow on her sad features. Why is she here? She couldn't know he was planning this, the last she saw him he almost killed her with his chidori. He flinched internally at the memory before steeling himself, looking ahead but stealing glances at her from the corner of his eye. He wanted to memorize everything.

Her bright pink hair now a pale salmon in the moonlight. Her pale skin as flawless as always. Her bright green eyes usually so full of joy now downcast, not looking at him at at the ground full of longing. He could see her small mouth set in a pout.

"It's the middle of the night. What are you hanging around here for?"

"This is the only road out of the village." Her voice was full of sadness.

"You should go to bed." He could hear the venom in his words, coming out harsh to push her away. He needed to push her away. Just go home he pleaded silently as he walked away.

"Why, Sasuke? Why won't you ever tell me anything?!" He could hear the tremor in her voice and just knew she was crying. Dammit, that's all I ever do is make her cry, he thought. He kept walking, his back to her and hands still in his pockets, not showing what her words were doing to him already.

"Why is it always silence with you? You've never shared a single thing-"

"Why should I have to tell you anything?" He could feel his emotions getting out of control. If he didn't keep them in check he might slip up, tell her what she really means to him. If he did that there's no way she would ever leave him alone. She would never let him go alone on his quest for power. He let them manifest as anger instead. "Just keep your nose out of my business. It's none of your concern." He needed to make her not care; she needed to hate him. It was what was best for her.

He thought that would do it, until her soft voice spoke.

"I know you hate me. Even in the beginning, you could never stand me." Why does she sound happier? "Remember? When we were genin and we were assigned our three man squads. We were alone together for the first time right here at this very spot. You got so mad at me that day."

Memories of that day began flooding back in Sasukes mind. Sakura with her long pink hair going on about how annoying Naruto was. Saying it was because he didn't have parents. It made Sasuke want to hate her that day. He wrote her off as nothing but an annoying, useless fangirl who was too spoiled to see how other people really were. He wrote her off that day, but she grew on him. Little by little he saw there was a bit more than he thought.

"I don't remember that," he said coldly, trying to not choke on the lie escaping his lips.

Her intake of breath as she talked around her tears nearly broke his heart. It took everything in him to not turn around, tell her he remember and hear what she was saying with an open mind. But he couldn't. He had to stay strong.
