Nines layed comfortably with his head on Gavin's shoulder, one arm resting on the man's chest and the other around him. The soft glow from the android's LED light was overpowered by the light of the old 3DS that was held in Gavin's hands. He was playing a Mario game of some kind, the android wasn't really paying attention. His eyes were on his boyfriend's face, watching the excited glow in Gavin's eyes as they were focused on the gameplay. It was adorable to see the detective look so happy and focused on something he obviously enjoyed. His tongue was lightly bitten between his teeth in concentration, his lips curled into a smile. One arm was around the android's shoulder, holding him close so he could still play the game. The dark room and soft rain hitting the window made the mood feel so soft.

Nines tilted his head to press a small kiss onto his cheek, glancing at the screen to see how well Gavin was doing. He got a power-up of some kind, so obviously not too badly. Nines continued watching Gavin seem to expertly complete the level, and with the all three stars. The detective grinned, pressing a short kiss onto the android's lips, half setting the game system away. Nines tilted his head, raising a brow at the victorious look on his face.

"You're a lucky charm, tinman," Gavin mumbled with a small grin, winking in the dim lighting. Nines chuckled a bit, shifting to have his face more buried into the warm crook of the other's neck. Soft laughter emerged from the detective at that, probably with the assumption that it was caused by a flustered feeling. It wasn't, but Nines wasn't about to crush that thought. He loved the cute and teasing grin on Gavin's face, and the sparkling loving look in his eyes. The game music distantly played in the background, tying the moment in a sweet bliss.

"Shut up," Nines mumbled playfully, playing with the soft fabric of the pajama shirt his hands rested upon. He tightened the arm around Gavin a bit, feeling the detective do the same. The glow of the 3DS shut off, another arm wrapping across Nines. Blankets shifted closer and the android could already feel the human's breath start to slow as he fell asleep. It felt peaceful to feel breaths going in and out, along with the warmth of being held. Nines closed his eyes, letting the fake act of sleep take over.
