Ch.23 Finding Family

Dominick and Fenrir ran together following the scent of Remus. They found him in the forest surrounding the manor sitting on a rock next to a stream. He had tear tracks down his cheeks and was shaking from the force of the sobs. When Dominick saw how distressed Remus was he whimpered and crawled to his pack mate. He let his head rest on Remus' lap offering silent support for one whom he considered family. Remus stiffened at the contact but slowly collapsed from the rock on to the ground gripping Dominick's fur and buried his head in his neck.

"I hate them! They took my mate, they kept me from my cub, and they planned to take my mates place. Why did he have to die?! I want my mate! I just got him back!" Remus ranted and cried. Dominick transformed back and just held Remus as he cried and let all his pain out. After a while Dominick felt his breath even out and realized that Remus had fallen into a fitful sleep.

" Dad could you take Remus up to his room so that he can get some sleep? He has had a long day." Dominick said quietly as not to wake the slumbering wolf currently curled into his chest. His father let out a low grunt in agreement and gently grabbed Remus and started to make his way to the manor.

Dominick decided it was finally time to check on his devil twins and see how their Animagus Transformation was going, seeing as they were both Foxes. The only difference between them is Fred is a red fox with two white spots above his eyes and George is white with two red spots above his eyes. Ever since they transformed they have been getting in to all sorts of mischief. Not only had they pranked half the death eaters already. They also were able to turn Fenrir into a bunny for a full day. When he got out of that prank he enlisted Dominick's help to get back at them which started a prank war. Tom was Not happy. His hair was blue for a week and he still had glitter on his throne that he could not get to go away. Dominick laughed so hard when he found Tom pouting about that little bit of information. Dominick chuckled at remembering that. He found the twins working on some prank potions they were developing.

"Hello my devils, how is it going? No mischief yet?" he said from the doorway causing Fred to Transform and come running at him, knocking him to the floor, and then promptly crawled onto his chest and sat down then proceeded to stare at him with his head cocked to the side with a mischievous glint in his eye. George laughed at his brothers' antics and put a stasis charm on the potion they were brewing and came to help Dominick off the floor.

"So Great Benefactor, What do we owe the pleasure of your company?" George said smirk on his face. Dominick laughed.

"how would both of you like to help me capture and kill a toad?" Dominick said with a sadistic look, that at made him look like a demon, on his face.

Authors note: Sorry it has taken me so long to get another chapter out. With collage, Family moving, and this COVID nonsense i have not had much time on my hands. Hope ya"ll like it.
