Why him.

Alone.

Nobody's POV.

"Let me see him!" Olivia yelled but Cragen was serious.

"He tried to kill you!" he yelled.

"No he didn't!"

"Olivia we have the evidence"

"No you don't! I'm your only witness and you have me hidden so the jury thinks Calvin's a murderer!" she protested and tears streamed down her face.

"No, they won't not if you can tell me about Jay, I can tell them it's what you said before you died"

"He's just this kid who was bullying Calvin"

"And?"

"Well I came home and he and Calvin were fighting, Jay grabbed the gun and Calvin tried to get it back, shots where firing in all directions. I tried to get to them because I knew there was no where to take cover"

"I understand" he nodded sympathetically.

Calvin's POV.

"OLIVIA!" I screamed and Elliot rushed in.

"Calvin? Is everything OK?" he asked but I couldn't answer, my breathing was deep and he looked worried. "Calvin?" he asked and I freaked.

"WHERE IS SHE!" I screamed.

"It's OK just relax, everything's going to be OK" Elliot said calmly but I was far from calm.

"TELL ME!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Just then my phone rang loudly! I didn't recognise the number but I thought it was just Jay, I answered feeling annoyed but that changed.

"Calvin? Is that you?"

"O-Olivia?" I croaked and although I couldn't see her I know she smiled when I did that.

"Yeah it's me...where are you?"

"I'm with El"

"Just wait there OK" she said and I felt excitement rush through me.

"OK" I said almost in a whisper.

There was a knock at the door and I jumped to me feet. I rushed to the door and saw Olivia standing there. I hugged her tightly not letting go for anyone or anything. "I've missed you so much" she said as tears streamed down her face.

"I missed you too" I said looking up at her.

"So do you have everything?" she asked wiping away her tears.

"Yeah I'm all packed up and ready to go" I said grabbing my bag as we headed to the door.

"Liv wait" El said putting a hand on Liv's shoulder but she quickly pulled away.

"Don't touch me" she snapped and I felt her grip on me tighten.

"Liv I-"

"Don't you Liv me! I'm done Elliot. I don't want you in my life so just go back to your wife and kids" she said heading out the door and slamming it behind her. We rushed to her car and she started to drive really fast. We just kept going faster.

"Where're we going?" I asked.

"We're going to stay with my brother for awhile" she said I could tell she was trying to talk calmly towards me despite her temper. We picked up speed and I was really worried.

"Mom slow down!" I yelled as we turned a sharp corner but it was too late. We crashed into the side of a building.

"Liv are you OK?" I asked and she nodded breathlessly. She reversed the car and continued to drive, it was just a small crash and only left a scratch on the car so she didn't feel the need to get checked out.

Marsden Household.

I looked around the house it was nice but just because I felt awkward I decided to go to bed early. "Are you OK?" Olivia asked.

"Yeah fine" I said heading straight to the room. I could hear talking and a baby crying. I think it's so nice that Simon called his daughter Olivia. I laid in my bed for what felt like hours until I heard gunshots, I leapt to my feet and grabbed my phone.

"911 what's your emergency?" a lady asked.

"There was just gunshots fired downstairs"

"Downstairs where?"

"In my uncle's house" I said not bothering to explain things, I gave her the address and ran downstairs.

Simon was dead. His girlfriend was dead. His kids were dead. I had to find Olivia.

"Olivia? Liv! Hello?!" I called with tears flooding my face. I ran up and down the stairs I looked in bedrooms cupboards, the upstairs bathroom. Nothing, I was alone.

I decided to check the downstairs bathroom and there she was, lying barely conscious on the bathroom floor. Her clothes covered in blood beside her and she had nothing but her underwear. I knew it was Lewis, he wanted revenge but why couldn't he just go away! Why does this keep happening. All these thoughts ran through my head as I sat Olivia upright. "Liv it's Calvin" I whispered but she was out of it.

I heard sirens outside and I thought I was safe. I thought wrong.

I held Olivia in my arms and brought her close to me. "Everything's gonna be OK" I whispered stroking her hair.

Just then I felt someone grab me, I turned and saw Lewis.

"Why are you doing this!" I yelled with tears in my eyes. He didn't answer just hit me with the barrel of his gun, well actually it was Liv's service weapon. I was down on my knees until he hit me again then everything around me became dark and once again I was alone.
