The 16 year old girl definetely wasn't paying attention to the lesson. How could she, when the sky seemed to be so clear and peaceful that day?
She was lost in her own imaginary world that kept her away from the boring hours of high school, so distracted she didn't notice someone sitting next her, on the seat that was vacant for a long time.
She snapped out of her trance when her stomach roared impatiently for food. That's right, she forgot to eat breakfast again. She sighed and decided that it's better if she focused on the words written without a care on the white board.
What was she going to have for lunch? If she wasn't wrong her mother said she'd make her favorite food. Y/N just had to wait a couple of hours and then she'd be free.
She grabbed her notebook from her school bag that was on her left and absentmindedly reached out for the black pen that was supposed to be on her right, but instead, she touched something warm: a hand. She quickly looked up, only to meet ocean eyes looking directly at her, just as confused.
She let out a squeal and moved away from him, against the wall. "Who are you!" she almost yelled. A few classmates near her turned around because they heard her, and they quietly giggled.
"Gabriel Agreste" the owner of those blue eyes said, giving a small smile. "He's the new kid. Weren't you listening when Ms Rose introduced him?" Emilie Graham De Vanily, her friend, piped in.
Y/N shook her head and talked to the boy sitting next to her. "I'm Y/N Vessalius, nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too, Y/N."
After that, Gabriel listened to the lesson again and the girl took her black pen that was near his hand, wanting to write down her notes. She then cringed, rethinking of what happened.
