Yelling at the sky,
Screaming at the world,
Baby, why'd you go away?
I'm still your girl.

16 year old Y/N giggled at one of Gabriel's stupid jokes and hit his arm playfully.
"That was dumb!"

"You love that my kind of dumb, don't deny it." he said, looking at her from the corner of his eyes while finishing his homework. The girl rolled her eyes at him with a small smile. "Maybe..."

The boy closed his 10th grade book. He wanted to hang out with his crush longer so he gathered the courage to ask her. "Would you like to grab a drink at Eclair's this afternoon?" he offered, avoiding eye contact since he because shy.

"Woah, woah Agreste are you asking me out on a date?" she said teasingly as a smirk formed on her lips.

The boy shrugged, an evident blush on his cheeks. "Whatever you wish the answer to be."

I stay up all night,
Tell myself I'm alright.
Baby, you're just harder to see than most.
I put the record on,
Wait 'til I hear our song,
Every night I'm dancing with your ghost

"I'll walk you home, you're freezing. I don't want you to catch a cold." he mumbled as he huffed out a warm puff of air in the cold evening.

Y/N shook her head stubbornly and made a snowball with the pure white snow on the ground and her bare hands. She threw it with all of the strength she had, aiming at Gabriel's back of the head. Once her shot hit, she started laughing.

Gabriel jumped back at the cold sensation and turned around. "Oh, you did NOT-" he started with a grin on his lips and chased her down the busy streets of Paris.

How do I love?
How do I love, again?
How do I trust?
How do I trust, again?

Y/N stared at the screen of her phone with widened, teary eyes as she saw the message from an ex classmate of hers. "Gabriel and Emilie started dating." She threw her device on the other end of her bed and hugged her pillow, crying her eyes out.

'He was never mine but, losing him just broke my heart. He told me he liked me so how? How did he get over me so quickly? He said he'd wait for me..'

After a while she took her phone again and decided she wouldn't deal with this. She deleted and blocked Gabriel's number, cutting all ties with him at once since she was in (C/N) so there was no way for him to contact her. It was childish, yes. But it was for the best, to her. She kept texting Emilie for a while, but their friendship slowly drifted away once the heartbroken girl realized her friend was hiding her relationship with Gabriel from her; but Y/N already knew.

I stay up all night,
Tell myself I'm alright.
Baby, you're just harder to see than most.
I put the record on,
Wait 'til I hear our song,
Every night I'm dancing with your ghost

The 31 year woman finished playing and singing her first song, slowly opening up her eyes. She turned towards Adrien and gave him a smile. "So, how was it?" she asked rather curious.

Adrien was looking at her with big eyes that radiated sympathy from miles away. "That's a really good song, may I know the story behind it? Only if you're okay with it"

Gabriel couldn't wipe that surprised expression off his face. It was a heartfelt song, a beautiful one. He felt like it was about him but he didn't want to believe it, he'd go ahead of himself.

"I don't know if I should tell you, because you know, we barely talked. But since you know him might as well tell you." she paused, getting up from her seat to lean on the side of the piano while standing. She knew it was risky to tell Adrien, but it'd be fine as long as Gabriel didn't find out, right?

"The song was about my first love and heartbreak: your father" she said, covering her face with her hands. "This is very embarrassing." she mumbled.

Well shit, it was about him. Gabriel brought his right hand up to cover half of his face, hiding the prominent red blush that was taking over his face. No, he had to go. Break time's over!

He quickly walked away from the door, not noticing the stare Nathalie had been giving him for a few minutes from down the stairs.

Adrien's jaw dropped to the floor in shock. He expected her to talk to him about her ex or something but his father?! Even Plagg was baffled, but not surprised enough to stop eating his Camembert in the cabinet. "W-wait you and father dated?" the 13 year old boy asked.

Y/N shook her head, "No, we were about to but I had to leave Paris because of my parents' job so it kinda went downhill from there." she said as a sigh escaped from her lips.

"If that's the case then he should've been the heartbroken one, right?"

"I guess not, since he started dating your mother a few days later". She chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of neck to avoid eye contact.

Adrien glanced at her and then back at the keys of the piano. "I'm sorry.. it must've been hard." he said with a small frown on his lips. He felt really bad but what could he say to comfort her? They didn't know each other that well and she's his father's friend!

Y/N smiled and slowly shook her head once more. "Yeah but totally worth it! I mean I wouldn't have met you. And I have the opportunity to tell you all the embarrassing stories I know about them." she smirked evilly while talking.

The boy nodded, pleased. "Right! I'd like to know right now but I have to go to my Chinese lesson, it's getting late." he said with a little pout.

She looked at the clock: 4:30. "Alright! Have fun. Talk to you soon then." she shot him a smile and saluted him with two fingers, before exiting.

"Plagg, can you believe it? Mom and Dad wouldn't have been together if Y/N stayed in Paris." he said while he took his Chinese books. Plagg flew out of the cabinet he was hiding in and nodded. "Crazy. I wonder who would've been Chat Noir, then?"

Gabriel sat infront of his desk, his tablet in his hands as he tried to sketch once more. He couldn't get what happened just a few minutes ago out of his head. He really broke her heart and he knew, but he was heartbroken as well and Emilie was there for him.

'𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒚.' he thought as he snapped out of it and tried to concentrate again.
