It had been two days since Hypnos was alive. Y/N had been frantically searching for a new apartment in the meantime and had found a few good choices. That day though, she was going to visit the place where her shop would open in a week or two. She didn't waste so much time in her room filing paperwork for nothing.
She put a dark top with embroidered lace sleeves that reached her elbows, ending in frills along with a black pencil skirt that ended in her mid thighs. To complete the outfit she wore black pumps for professionalism and started walking out of her room with her files.

Just as she was about to walk out she realized what an important day that day was. Emilie disappeared exactly one year ago. A feeling of sadness weighted her down for a minute but she got a grip of herself and walked to her suitcase. She took a dark wooden case with a present inside, the one Emilie gave her for her 16th birthday. Her grip tightened as she remembered the exact moment.
"Hey Y/N, wait up!" the birthday girl heard as she was about to walk out of her class. She stopped and turned around, glacing her best friend, Emilie. "Happy birthday." She gave her the case with a big smile on her face. Y/N grinned back and hugged the female as Gabriel approached them.
"What are you two doing?" he asked with his deep voice as he curiously looked in between the two. "She gave me my birthday gift" Y/N said, not looking up since she was focused on her present. She opened it up and there was a simple silver bracelet with a tear shaped charm on it. It was pretty but simple, it blended well with her style.
"Thank you, Emilie" she said, smiling. Gabriel shrugged and smirked at the two. "My gift was the best either way." he declared confidently. Y/N nodded with an eye roll while her hand raised to grip the necklace with her birthstone on her neck, his gift. "It sure was."
She sighed, looking at her suitcase again. She never got rid of Gabriel's gift. She couldn't, even when she was heartbroken. She had to learn to forgive both of her best friends and move on with her live. She wore those gifts back in (C/N) before she came in Paris but she stopped since she didn't want to trigger Gabriel if he noticed them.
She finally got up and closed the zip of her suitcase before walking out. She had to give this gift to Adrien. This was his first year without he's mother, he'll need it. She walked towards his room calmly, greeting with a smile Nathalie as she passed by. She knocked on the teenager's bedroom door, entering once she got the permission.
"Hey, Adrien" she said as she closed the door behind her and got closer to him. The boy was sitting in front of his computer screen, where he had a photo of him and Emilie as the background. "Hi Y/N. It sounds weird not to call you anything formal, is that okay?" he asked as he turned to face her.
Y/N put a hand on the chair he was seated on and chuckled. "Yes, of course. I came here to give you something, tough." she said as she put her hand with the case forward, urging him to take it. "What is it?" he curiously questioned, taking it in his hands.
