"I just want to go home"
Tony stared at you, his worried eyes scanning your face. He's never seen you like this. So broken. So hopeless. It broke his heart, he wanted to yell at the nurses and doctors to make you feel better but he knew it wouldn't work. So he stayed by your bed day and night, refusing to leave.
"me too (y/n). But I want you to get better more than that," He said, getting up and adjusting your blankets. You pushed them away.
"This is stupid," As the light hit Your face, Tony could see how pale you looked. Pale with dark circles and a greenish tint. You looked sick. The kind of sick that most people didn't recover from. Tony shook the thoughts away before they could get any worse
"It's going to be ok-"
"How do you know that?" You tried to sit up more but ended up in a coughing fit. Tony reached out to calm you down but you pushed him away again,
"How do you know this isn't my death bed? Huh? How do you know this isn't my last day? And don't tell me to 'stay positive' because I can't Tony. I can't." Your voice cracked on the last words, making Tony's heart break more and more. You hugged your legs and buried your face in them, soft sobs escaping your lips
"it's been months tony," your voice was barely a whisper, only loud enough for tony to hear. He wrapped his arms around you, holding on to your weak body.
"we're both going to get out of here," he promised, stroking your back and fighting back tears,
"One way or another."

I almost made myself cry.
Sorry for the sad one, but honestly I think it's a pretty good story. I hope you guys are staying safe and washing those hands and I know it seems hopeless right know but try to distract yourself from it. Have a bath, read a book, make your favorite food and eat it slowly enjoying the flavor. Do something you love, anything. Just remember that you are awesome and we will get through this.
