"Oh look at that necklace!" You and Clint were window shopping at the local mall, and had both agreed that neither would buy anything.
It was getting kind of hard to do though
"It's really pretty" Clint agreed as you both looked at a beautiful and very expensive looking necklace through the glass. Your eyes studied every crystal and you imagined how it would look on your neck with a fancy red dress and heels-
"Oh it's just so beautiful" you bit your lip and peaked over at clint with a pleading look. He knew you wanted the necklace, even though you both agreed not to buy anything
"Alright fine. But only this time!" Clint sighed and entered the store. You squealed in excitement and followed shortly after
"Yes hello we will take one of those necklaces you have on display over there" Clint pointed over to the necklace, and the store clerk (who was dressed much nicer that either of you) kindly went and got it
"This delicate gorgeous necklace features a rose gold vine design with pearls encrusted and hanging from it." The Store clerk said
"And how much will that be?" Clint asked talking out his wallet
"Clint I can buy this myself you don't need to spend your money on me" you protested, but he stopped you from taking out your own wallet
"Just think of it as a favor." He said
" the total cost comes up yo $7588" The store clerk said, and Clint's face seemed to turn white
$7488???
"I'll give you $20" Clint Said, sliding a 20 over the counter. The clerk did not look amused and slid it back
"Unfortunately sir we cannot take anything less than the price given" he said, and Clint frowned
"Then What Can i buy here for $20?" Clint Asked
"These two, very lovely $10 bills!" The clerk said sarcastically. Clint seemed to pause and think about it for a moment
"I'll give you $1 for them" Clint Said with a straight face, and you giggled. The Clerk looked very annoyed on the other hand
"Sir I'll pay for this" you slid over a credit card and bought your necklace, leaving the store happily with Clint
"That was a really expensive necklace" Clint Said again. You nodded your head at him
"Yeah, good thing I used Tony's credit card" you said with a smirk
