Chapter 5: Whoa

Ash's POV

(When they sneak in)

Me and Kat walk down the sidewalk to Whom I assume is Jerome's place with no cars causing a grin to form on Kat's face.

"See I told you!" She says and I grin while rolling my eyes.

"Their probably at YOUR house stealing YOUR things." I say and she makes a pfft face.

"Please like I care. C'mon!" She says jogging up to the front door. I see her pull her keys out of her pocket as I walk to the front door. I'm pretty sure this is 100% illegal. She unlocks the door with one of her keys.

She unlocks it and opens the door. I glance over my shoulder and say "We're gonna get caught!" She doesn't listen and walks in. She points towards a room down the hall the goes up the stairs.

I walk to the room and open the door. It's a guest bedroom. I see a suitcase on the bed with clothes pulled out. I walk over and see a red checkered sweatshirt. She sent me to Mitch's room. Of course.

I lift it out of the suitcase and see papers in the suitcase. I wonder. I grab one and unfold it carefully. It's a picture hand drawn. Before I actually look at the picture I see my name written on the bottom.

"What the?" I look and see,

Ash + Mitch = Mash

I then look at the picture to see an animated me kissing Mitch's cheek. My eyes widen and I set it down on the bed and back away. I hear a car pull in and run out of the bedroom closing the door.

I hear the front door open and I pull out my phone and text Kat.

'GET YO A** OUTTA THERE THEIR BACK!'

I then shove my phone in my back pocket and I see the kitchen. I run in it and see a sliding door leading outside.

"Thank The Lord!" I say quietly and walking over to it and setting my hand on the door thingy (I forgot what it's called XD.) The kitchen light flicks on and I freeze. Oh cheese it.

"Ash?" Mitch's voice asks and I turn around and see him. Should I book it? For SOME ODD REASON I stay put.

"That is my name." I say and he smiles. He's not mad. Bruh what's this all about? He walks over to me and I feel myself shrink. I should have booked it. I set my hand behind my back and set it on the door handle. (HANDLE THATS WHAT ITS CALLED!)
My fingers wrapping around it.

"Now why are you here?" He asks walking closer to me.

"I was here," I won't rat Kat out, "and I just opened the door came in and now I'm here." I say and he smiles and turns his head like a puppy. It's almost cute. WHOA ASH NUH UH NUH UH! BAD BENJA!

"I didn't say how I said why." He says and I sigh frustrated.

"For absolutely no reason what's so ever." I say lying he looks at me like he bought it. His brown eyes sparkling-STAHP IT ASH!

"Ash I know about this rivalry thing but I was wondering. Can I take you out sometime?" Whoa Bruh whoa. Hold the mother trucking phone. I don't want to hurt him so what do I say?

"Sure. If it goes unsaid." I say and he nods.

"Absolutely." He says but then I think of Kat. I HAVE to tell her. I don't like hiding things from my friend.

"Well then I'll speak with you again." I say and he smiles.

"Yep." He says then I slide out the door and run back to the house. I open the door noticing it's unlocked. Boys.

I walk in and shout "KAT!" She doesn't answer. What if she's still there? Uh oh. I sit down on the couch and turn on 'NCIS'. After about 5 minutes Kat comes in.

"Thanks for the warning really." She says not sarcastically. I look over at me and nod. She looks at me like I'm hiding something. I'll tell her for sure but not at the moment.

She sits on the couch next to me and I say,

"You got caught didn't you." She sinks back in the couch. "Maybe." She says and we both laugh a little.

"Katherine the loud ninja I like it. Has a ring to it." I say and she mimics me silently.

"Katherine the loud ninja." She mimics sticking out her tongue and blowing a raspberry.

"Phooey." She says and I laugh and we sit watching 'NCIS'.
