Chapter 6: A morning jog

Kat's POV

I wake up and stretch. I see it's 5:00 am perfect. I run to my closet and pull out a pair of black running shorts, a purple exercise shirt, and my black running shoes. I put all that on and tie my white laces. I stand up and grab my hair broosh. (I actually call it a broosh)

I brush my hair and pull it back in a ponytail, pinning my bang with a bobby pin. I grab a set of white earbuds and ma phone. I then walk downstairs careful not to wake the Benja other wise I'd be dead. I plug in my ear buds and grab my bright blue Dansko jacket. I zip it up and put in my eat buds.

I walk out the door and put my music on shuffle. I start a slow jog gaining speed to a fast jog. 'Killin' It' by Kwella comes on and I smile. I continue to jog passing the guys house. I guarantee they are still asleep because it's only 5:30 in the morning. I jog past another house and see a movers truck outside of it. New neighbor?

I stop and see a boy with brown hair and blues eyes. (y'all know who dis is and I know he lives in Los Angeles calm down.) I take out one of my ear buds panting slightly and I look at him.

"Need a hand?" I ask and he looks at me.

"Nah it's alright I got it." He says as he lifts a box. I smile a little and walk over grabbing a box myself.

"I'm Katherine by the way." I say following him into his awesome house.

"Jason." He says and I follow him into an empty kitchen. I set the box I'm holding on the black granite counter.

"So where ya from Jason?" I ask going back out him behind me.

"Originally Texas but I come from LA." He says and I smile and pick up another box.

"Ooo fancy." I say and he chuckles.

I go back in and after eh maybe 45 minutes all his boxes are in his house. We exchange numbers and I say handing him his phone back "I live right down the street. Oh and beware of the two idiots next door."

"I will and thanks." He says smiling. Holy mother of god that's a beautiful smile. I wave at him smiling then continue my jog into downtown.

People scurrying to get to work walk past me. I smile at some locals I usually see like a nice lady who walks out of StarBucks; my destination. Her brown hair pinned in a bun in the back of her head and she wears a black blazer and a short black what I'd call work skirt. She smiles at me with her coffee in her hands.

"Good morning Katherine!" She says and I smile holding the door open.

"Good morning Mrs. High." I say and she nods and smiles and walks away. I go in the shop and pull out my wallet and stand in line. I notice a group of guys start laughing at one of their friends who's cheeks are red. His reddish/brownish hair in almost like a flip I guess I don't even know. But he has some pretty bright shiny blue eyes that pop due to his pale skin.

I get to the counter and the girl smiles at me.

"What can I get you today?" She asks and I go plan and simple.

"I need one hot chocolate with extra whipped cream and some chocolate syrup." I say and she taps on her cash register thingy. (I have never personally been in a StarBucks I go to BigB's can my parents choose BigB's)

(I dunno the cost either Lawlz)

"That will be 7.56." She says and I hand her a ten. She gives me my change and I stand aside after giving her my name for when my order is ready.

I pull out my phone pausing my song playing which was 'American Idiot' by Green Day. I open my twitter and see a tweet from one of my favorite fans.

Heading to the airport to go to NJ to see ma big sis @KatGraceFTW.

I literally start jumping up and down like an idiot.

"Katherine?" I hear and I grab my hot chocolate and sit down. I drink the amazing drink right after taking a picture and posting it on Instagram cause I'm a jag.

I take one sip and some dude comes and sits across from me. I look at him and see his brown hair and brown eyes.

"Hey my friend Alex wanted to know if your single?" He says and I look at him with a 'wtf' face.

"Uh that is Confidential." I say going back to my phone until the son of A beach takes it and holds it above his head standing up.

"Hey!" I shout and jump to grab it but I can't because I'm too short.

"Give it back!" I shout again. He grins and looks at my screen.

"Oooo your that Kat kid that all the nerds use to talk about in my school!" He says scrolling through my Instagram.

"Oh! A gamer too! Man you's a sexy gamer. So is your friend here!" He says and I see Ash's face. Alright I've had enough. I slam my foot into his and he drops my phone and I catch it. I take the last sip of my hot chocolate and throw that away then I slam my foot into his other.

"Your all are a** holes!" I sing in a sing song voice and flip off his friends including the one dude with the blue eyes. I then walk out putting my ear buds in jamming to 'Smells like teen spirit' by Nirvana.
