Finally, the year was over, their year as seniors have come to an end.

Phoenix stared towards the twins as they were both playing games against one another, the funny thing was that they weren't talking but their aura fought with one another.

Luka growled slightly as his brother headshot him, he glanced towards Zander who was smirking silently in victory.

Phoenix just watched with a smile as he watched the twins fight against one another in the game, Ezlyn jumped onto the counter and gave a soft meow.

A loud bang caught the twin's attention, Zander got off the couch cautiously approaching the kitchen window with Phoenix following suit.
"What was that?" Phoenix asked nervously grabbing ahold of Zanders shirt from behind.

"Don't know... I'll go check it out. "Zander removed his glasses and placed them gently on the counter. "Luka keep an eye out. "

"Got it. "Luka replied pausing the game and gently guided Phoenix away.

"Be careful Zan. "The younger male said quickly with a worried frown on his face, he held onto Luka's hand nervously.

Zander watched the two leave, glancing towards Ezlyn who was watching outside curiously. "Go on Ezlyn. Go to Phoenix. "She left shortly after he said so, he opened the back door and stepped out.

Nothing seemed unusual, there was nothing approaching the house, a branch snapped. Zanders's eyes darted towards the sound, his dark green eyes shifting to a bright gold as he shifted to his wolf form, Kayde took off in the direction of the sound.

Heavy panting was heard with quick steps, Kayde sprinted towards the sound catching a glimpse of someone, he growled lowly.

The person turned around, a young boy with widen eyes, scars decorated with tattered clothes hanging loosely on his skinny figure.

He let out a painful scream of help before falling to the ground, covering his body with his arms. "P-please don't eat me. "His voice wobbled as he spoke, shaking in his small cacoon.
Kayde stopped a few feet away from the small, his eyes clouded over, talking to his brother to bring clothes along with Phoenix.

The young boy quivered as he felt the wolf stare at him, his body was awfully small for his age, his skinny figure almost showed his bones.

Luka emerged from the forest trees to where his brother was, Phoenix trailing behind curiously, the twin approached Kayde and gently petted his head.

"Here's the clothes. "Luka gently gave the clothes, Kayde took the clothes and went to shift back behind a tree.
Phoenix looked at the little boy who was watching scared, he looked like he was in shock.

"Hey there, my name is Phoenix. What's yours?" He smiled gently sitting down on the ground near the boy, the boy flinched at him holding his hand up as if to defend himself.
"Pleased-don't hurt me. "His voice wobbled once more, he watched Phoenix with furrowed brows.
"I won't hurt you... They won't hurt you either. What's your name?" Phoenix showed his hands up, showing he was no harm.

"Miles. My name is M-Miles. "The boy now called Miles relaxed slightly slowly putting his hand down watching Luka, he watched the boy with a curious look.

Zander walked out from behind the tree fully clothed, the boy watched Zander this time nervously moving backward.

"Werewolf. "Miles quivered out, he looked around nervously. "Where are the pack guards? Are you going to kill me?"

Phoenix's eyes widen with shock, he shook his head quickly. "No. We aren't going to hurt you, Miles, this is Zander. "Zander gave a soft smile with a wave. "And this is Luka. "Luka gave a stern look towards the boy, Zander noticed and hit his brother up against his head.

"Be nice. "Zander warned towards Luka who winced while rubbing his head gently, Phoenix smiled towards Miles again.

"Miles, what happened to you?" Miles gulped nervously shaking his head, his jaw quivering as tears escaped down his cheeks.

"They hurt me. "His hands grabbed his hair, pulling it with force, he spoke loudly for them to hear, with emphasis on 'they'.

Phoenix looked back towards the twins worriedly. "Let's take him back home. "

Miles stared at Phoenix from a small distance, he liked Phoenix's presence, very welcoming and warm.

"Alright Miles, climb into the bathtub and wash yourself off. Here are some of my old clothes. They won't fit perfectly but it's all we have. "

Phoenix pointed towards a small bundle of clothing that was neatly placed on the bed.

"Phoenix... "Miles quietly mumbled out catching the male's attention. "T-thank you. "

A small smile crawled onto his lips as Phoenix nodded. "No problem Miles, I'll be out of the room. Just shout if you need my help. "

Miles nodded quickly as he turned his attention to the bathroom area, Phoenix quietly left the room and walked towards the kitchen where the twins were waiting.

"The little guy is so scared. He is covered in bruises and cuts everywhere I can see. "Phoenix bit his lip nervously, Zander sighed softly looking at Ezlyn who was laying in the sun by the window.

"He should eat after his bath, check him for any open wounds that need to be treated to. " Zander rubbed his temples tiredly, Luka yawned tiredly. "Phoenix, you're going to have to treat his wounds. "

"Wait. Why me?" Phoenix looked at Zander with furrowed brows as he poured water into a glass for Miles.
"Because he only trusts you. He noticed that I'm a werewolf and won't look at me in the eye." Luka smirked slightly leaning towards Zander.
"Looks like Zan is a big bad monster after all. "

"Oh shut up. "Zander rolled his eyes, Phoenix gently petting Ezlyn head as she purred loudly.

"You can trust us, Miles. We are going to look after you. "Phoenix gently tucked Miles into the guest bedroom, the cat sleeping quietly next to the young boy.

"Thank you. "Miles muttered out lowly looking away with a small blush. "Hey, Pheonix?"

"Yeah?" Phoenix got up from his seat at the end of the bed and moved closer to Miles, the young boy gently pulled Phoenix in for a hug.

The older male's eyes widen as he was pulled into a hug, he smiled softly before hugging Miles back. "I'm here for you. We all are. "
