Azure stood in his wolf form at the end of his territory, with the other warrior wolves nearby. He waited for a signal, his large ears turned in different directions.

Zander, Noah, and Luka stood next to him, also in their wolf forms, they listened around for something.

A low howl could be heard, Azure howled back in response before sprinting into the forest, the rest of the wolves followed in pursuit behind their Alpha.

Melanie watched from the main packhouse window, she watched as her mate left, a heavyweight placing itself onto her shoulders.
Phoenix stood nearby, placing a hand on Mel's shoulder, at first she flinched until she realized who it was. "They'll be safe... Don't worry. "

Taysa held Luna's hand in worry, although she didn't know the pack members well she felt safe around them.

A worried aura could be felt in the room. Their worry about their loved ones and prays for them to be safe.
Their plan was classified, not to be spoken to anyone except the people participating in it. A lot of the members protested against this idea, it was suicidal at this point. Many members could die from this war. Yet they left with pride and anger radiating off of them.

Miles held on to Ezlyn, his brows furrowed with determination to train, he wanted to protect the pack members. Even if he was too young.
Oak stood away from everyone, peering outside the window, watching the wolves disappear into the forest. His jaw clenched in frustration. It could be weeks even months before they return. Things won't be easy without Alpha Azure but they had to try to make things work.

A week had passed and Oak sat at the pack hospital boredly playing Solitude on the computer when someone walked in. He lazily glanced to see who it was and immediately shot up from his seat. "Luna Melanie! W-what a surprise. "He anxiously bowed at her, she rolled her eyes playfully.

"I told you to call me Melanie or Mel. No need to be so formal with me. "She walked over to him and smiled. "I came in for a checkup. "

"Ah! Right, this way. "Oak quickly walked down the hall to a room and opened it for her, to be precise, he is terrified of women. Many females rogues attacked him in the past, resulting in him developing a fear of women.

"Any specific checkup?" He asked quietly as he looked down at the floor.
"Yeah, an ultrasound. "Melanie responded, a smile playing on her lips, Oak froze as he looked at Melanie with widen eyes.

"You're pregnant?" He questioned in a soft voice as if someone was listening to them.

"It's maybe. I don't know for sure." Mel smiled brightly, her hand placed on her stomach.

Oak nodded as he set up the equipment, it didn't take long to set it up.

Melanie laid down on the bed and lifted her shirt revealing her flat stomach, Oak grabbed some gel.
"It's cold. "He warned before putting it up and placing the transducer onto the gel and gently moving it. His eyes fixed onto the screen in front of them as he looked for a small baby. To his surprise there was. A small baby, the size of a peanut.

"There's the little one. "Oak smiled slightly as he pointed it out, Melanie smiled happily, tears falling down her cheeks.

"I'm going to be a mom. "She mumbled out in glee, Oak took a picture of the ultrasound and printed it for her.

"Here's the sonogram. "He handed it to Melanie who held it tight to her. "Since your mate is an Alpha... The pregnancy duration will be shorter than the others. Possible less than 3 months. "

"Less than 3 months?! Thats so soon." Mel started to panic, Oak rubbed the gel off and sighed softly.

"3 months is soon, I'm aware of that. Don't stress too much or shift too much. Keep an eye on your diet and stomach. "He handed her a few things. "Visit me every week to see how the baby is doing. "

Melanie sat up as she looked at Oak, a soft sigh escaped from her. "Should I tell Azure?"

"N-no. Tell him when he arrives back, it would be the best surprise for him to hear, relax Melanie. "He said calmly, not realizing that he wasn't anxious anymore.

"Thank you, Oak. You said my name. "

She smiled, he noticed and looked away embarrassed. "Thank you for everything. "
