"Admirers"
---------------
Now that you and Terushima had labelled your relationship as official, it was quite a hassle for you to handle all the confessions and flirtatious remarks your boyfriend received on a daily basis. Though, you took the circumstances quite well.
You understood that he was allowed to acknowledge the presence of his admirers and you trusted Terushima with more than your inner-conscience was comfortable with.
So long as he thinks with his mind and not with his dick, you were fine with him entertaining other individuals.
One thing that did bother you, however, was that you couldn't shower Terushima with as much gifts as he consistently accepted. Y'see, you weren't exactly from rich descent, and your family could barely get by with your parents' income.
Your background wasn't the problem, it was the fact that he had chosen you to be his girlfriend even though you couldn't afford to give him the level of affection you wanted.
Despite his day-to-day reminder of 'I love you's and randomized sequence of hugs and kisses, you were still put into unease when you see him taking gifts from fans.
You couldn't help but let your mind wander off to a day where he would choose a more-capable, wealthier girl to put up with. Sometimes you'd just cry about it, after all, it would help you feel much better.
And you couldn't muster up enough courage to confront Terushima about your anxiety. To you, the male didn't need to know it, because he did love you...
Right?
Here you were, yet again.
Compelled to wait for your blond-haired boyfriend as he conversed with a few girls-- each equipped with gifts to present to the athlete. You noticed said girls eyeing you occasionally as they talked with your boyfriend.
Whenever your eyes would meet, the girls would smile at you and you took that as a sign of mockery.
Subconsciously, the pace of your heartbeat quickened. The countless scenarios running through your head didn't appease your troubles either.
Terushima kept his eyes on his admirers, undoubtedly engrossed in whatever conversation they were sharing amongst themselves. The girls seemed to be oozing with confidence too, this caused your composure to deplete entirely.
Seeing Terushima fanatically accept the gifts his admirers presented finally took a toll on you.
Before you knew, you were already sprinting away from the scene, oblivious to Terushima's exclamations.
Lapse
Your form rested against the large, oak tree behind the school. It stood gloriously on top of a large hill, you'd spend most of your afternoons here, when you weren't in the mood to wait for Terushima's practice to be over in some boorish, rowdy gymnasium.
Quiet pants left your lips and you try to stable your breathing, as well as your emotions. You weren't going to cry, only that, you were utterly overwhelmed with sadness and disappointment.
