"Koushi! Let's celebrate your birthday!" You whined, sticking up your bottom lip in a pout. Suga gave you an apologetic smile before sighing, "You know we can't, Honey." He reminds you, much to your dismay.
With a sigh, you peeled your form off of your boyfriend's. "I really don't see why not." You reply quite stubbornly, despite knowing full-well what he meant. Suga chuckles at your behavior, he always found the feistier side of you adorable.
Sugawara wraps his arms around you, resting his chin on top of your head, feeling your (h/c) strands tickling his skin. "I have business to deal with, a lot of 'em, I can't just toss them away. It's for your sake, anyway."
"Not even this once?" You frowned, staring up at him with pleading (e/c) eyes. "If it's really for me, you'd know that I would never want you to overwork yourself. Birthdays only come annually, so..." You spoke in such a gently voice, that it took all his restraint not to give into your pleas.
Shaking his head, Suga withdrew from your side and started towards the bathroom, presumably to get ready for the day.
"I guess that's a no..." You frowned.
'Then I'll just have to go to the extreme! If it means Koushi's day gets to be celebrated properly!' You subconsciously concluded, jumping from the bed and onto your feet. You've already the perfect scheme planned out, from watching all of those prank videos and fan-fictions on the web, of course you did.
You took out your phone and contacted your most trustworthy duo.
Kageyama and Hinata? Heavens no, those two would annihilate your plan in minutes with their constant bickering. One thing leads to another and sure enough, guns would enter the scene.
Tsukishima and Yamaguchi? Guess again. Although the freckle-faced boy would offer his help at request, his salty partner-in-crime would not and in turn, he'd have to follow through what his best friend says.
Who better to ask than Sugawara's closest friends; Asahi and Daichi. You contacted Kiyoko too, but she was busy investigating unknown substances in the laboratory.
Lapse
"SUGAAAAAAA!!" Asahi screams, bursting into Sugawara's office, looking terribly pale and trembling. The light-haired male, though startled, manages to stop himself before he shot his panicking friend.
Suga lets out an aggravated sigh before addressing Asahi, "What is it that you're so anxious about?" Suga inquires, rubbing the tension from his temples.
"(-(-(y-/n)'s... Your h-h-house..." Asahi stammered, feeling all the color drain from his face upon seeing the shift in Sugawara's once composed expression. Daichi enters the scene, appearing a little less paranoid than his older-looking friend.
