I felt water dripping on my face and I sat up quickly.  Looking around the room, I gasped, as my eyes landed on someone familiar.

I stood up in a hurry, almost losing my balance.

"You Bastard!"  I screamed, as Jackson walked towards me, hands up.

"Jules."  He said making me tingle all over at the sound of my name leaving his lips.

"Don't"  I warned, he did this to me.

I looked down, realizing that I was wearing a sheet.

"The man, in the cellar?"  I glanced around the room, for any hidden shadows.

Jackson took another step towards me, but stopped when I glared at him.

"You don't have to worry.  I didn't let him hurt you."  Jackson said, his voice soft.  It was always soft whenever something liked this happened to me.  He always saved me, murmuring that I'd be ok.

"But... you... you left me."  I stuttered, my chest constricting in pain, hurt.

He took another step towards me, and another, until we were face to face.  I looked up at his hazel eyes, searching, but I didn't know for what.

He reached up and touched his hand to my cheek sending a shiver up my back, "You know I would never leave you on purpose.  I have always been there."

I closed my eyes, as I laid my head in his hand.  Wanting to just feel his touch one last time, I knew what I had to do.

I opened my eyes and in one swift movement, I knocked his hand out of the way and punched him in the face.  He went flying back into the couch, surprise etched on his face.  I started to run for the door when he grabbed my leg making me fall to the floor.  I grimaced as I felt pain shoot through my body.  My ribs weren't going to last much longer if I kept this up.  I pushed my arms out in front of me to soften the blow, and kicked at Jackson's face.

He started to pull me back and I thrashed harder, losing the sheet in the process.

"Julia!"  Jackson screamed, "Please, just listen to me!"

I thrashed some more and struck out my foot again.  This time the blow hit and I felt his grip loosen on my leg.  I pulled free, as Jacks cried out in pain and scrambled towards the door, just as it was opening.

I skidded to a halt and spun around looking for a window, anything where I could get away.

"Jules."  I heard someone rasp, and I turned to see Gavin.  He was standing in the doorway looking at me intently.

"Gav!"  I said exasperated.  I ran to him, throwing my arms around his neck.

I noticed that he winced, but wrapped his arms around my waist anyways.

"Jackson!"  Gavin said letting go of me.  He walked towards Jacks menacingly.  Jacks was still lying on the ground, staring at me.  I stared into those eyes, that kept saying 'trust me', but how could I?  Gavin bent down and grabbed Jacks by the shirt pulling him up.  I took this time to notice Gavin's back, and how it was covered in gauze that was now starting to turn red.

"You son of a bitch!"  Gavin seethed, as he pushed Jackson against the wall violently.

I winced, closing my eyes at the impact.

Gavin brought his fist back when Jackson screamed, "Wait!"

Gavin stopped in mid motion, "Why should I?" He brought his nose to Jacksons, glaring at him.

Jackson looked at me, "Jules, please, you know me.  Let me explain."

"Shut up!"  Gavin screamed slamming him against the wall again, "You don't get to talk to her!  You don't get that privilege anymore!"

Jacks smirked at Gavin, "And you do?"  He asked his voice mocking.

Gavin reared his fist back to strike.

"Stop!"  I screamed, making both of them turn towards me.

I didn't know what I was going to do.  What I was going to believe, but I did know one thing; Some part of me trusted Jackson, even after all this time.

"Let him talk."  I said barely above a whisper, but knew they had heard.

I looked around the room, for some type of clothing.

"Over there by the wall, Jules."  Jackson said making me bring my eyes to his.  He smiled, knowing what I wanted.

I strode over to the wall and found a t-shirt lying in the floor.  I picked it up and threw it on, glad to have some type of cover, even if that didn't include pants.

I walked back over to Gavin and placed my arm on his shoulder.  He still had Jackson against the wall, and my touch made him let go.  I could tell he didn't want to, but I also knew that he was getting weak.

Jackson stepped away from Gavin, as Gavin leaned against the wall.

"Did you do this?"  I asked Jackson, pointing at Gavin's back.  The gauze was now bloody red, and I worried about all the blood Gavin had lost today.

Jackson nodded, "I stitched him up,"  He smirked at Gavin, "Looks like you reopened them buddy."

"I'm not your buddy."  Gavin seethed, as I put his arm around my shoulders and led him to the couch, sitting him down easily.

Jackson watched us from across the room as he leaned against the wall.  He looked even more sexy than that day he had left me.  I noticed he seemed different, but I couldn't tell how.

I crossed my arms across my chest and turned to face him, "Ok."  I stated, making sure my voice sounded hard, "Start talking."

Jackson laughed, "That's my Jules, gets right to the point."

"She's not yours."  I heard Gavin say behind me, his voice sounded weak.

Jackson glared at him, "She's more mine than yours."  He snapped.

"I don't belong to anyone!"  I huffed.  "You left me!"  I screamed at Jackson, making his face fall. "You left me there with that man, knowing what he had planned for me!"

Gavin snickered and I glared at him, "And you... you kidnapped me!" I screamed at him, "I don't trust either of you!"  I turned towards Jacks again, "So start talking, before I walk out that door and don't turn back."

Jackson looked me up and down a smirk on his face.

"What?"  I asked irritated.

"So, you're going to walk out that door without any pants?"

"Talk Jacks."  I stated.  He nodded, realizing that I was no longer joking around.  I would indeed walk out that door, and he knew it.

He pushed himself off the wall and strode across the room until he was face to face with me, "There are so many things, that you don't know."  He glanced at Gavin pointedly, "Even this new boy toy, doesn't know what is going on."

Gavin snapped his head towards Jackson, "And what is that?  Package boy."  He said taking a low blow.

Instead of getting mad, he smiled, "Gavin, Gavin, but it's you who is the package boy."  His voice void of emotion.

So, what do you think?  I made this chapter a little longer to make up for the last one... I'm actually, still trying to figure out what I'm going to make Jackson say... I haven't found a good enough excuse yet... any ideas?

Will Jackson be the good guy once again, or the bad guy?
