We were sitting in the drive way of Gavin's home. We had spent three weeks with Jackson and his run-down apartment. Now we were venturing out. I knew Mason was in there, probably worried sick about me, but I knew I'd have to go in eventually.
I felt someone grab my hand and I looked up to see Jackson staring at me, "Are you ok?"
I nodded, "I'll be fine, Mace is probably so worried."
"Mace isn't the one you have to be worried about." Gavin said from the back of the car. Glad to see that even though he was hurt, his sarcastic comments weren't.
I rolled my eyes glancing back at him, "What is that supposed to mean?"
Gavin winced as he moved forwards; his back still hurt him, "I'm saying, Mace isn't going to be mad at you. He probably thinks that we ran off together."
My face paled as I realized this, Mace was going to be mad at Gavin.
"Don't worry, because once he see's Jackson, I won't be the one he hates." Gavin smirked.
I glanced at Jackson, who suddenly looked nervous.
"What are we going to say Gav?" I asked turning in my seat to look at him, "We can't let him know what's going on. He'll be in danger."
"He already is in danger." Jacks said drawing my attention to him, "Just for him being your brother, he is in danger. It's best he knows, so he can protect himself."
I nod, "You're right." I put my hand on the car handle, "Let's do this," I say opening up the car and stepping out. I go to the back door and help Gavin out, he moans as I pull him up straight.
"You ok?" I ask him, as he slings his arm around my shoulders.
He nods, a smirk coming to his face, "I'll be even better once I get to lay in our bed."
I stare at him, I can't believe he just said that! We only slept in the same bed once, and that was because I was asleep when he joined me! I glanced at Jacks to see if he heard. By the distant look on his face, I'm guessing he did. I opened my mouth to retort, when the front door opened and out stormed an angry looking step brother.

Of course the love triangle is going to be going on, but I'm having trouble with the bad guys.... but I'm sure I'll think of something... so I'm sorry to keep you waiting...
