*sigh* Why Max, why?

Max (Gabby’s older brother):

Where are you?? It’s like 4:00.

Are you okay??

Gabby??

Gabby:

OMG! Sorry Max. Be there soon. I’ll explain when I get home, k?

Max:

You gave me a heart attack you know!

I shot up off the couch.

“What’s wrong?” Connor asked, his arm slipping off of my shoulders.

“It’s 4:00. My brother’s paranoid about me. Can someone give me a lift home?” Everyone got up and headed towards the door. It will be interesting to see the reaction of the boys when they see my house. I hadn’t told them much yet only Connor. I hadn’t even told Connor about Max. I have really bad trust issues and Max is part of the reason why.
“So you’re all coming?”

“Yep and we’re taking my car,” said Ricky. It made sense; it was the biggest.

“Guys, there is only six seats in my car though,” he added.

“I bags not staying!” Kian shouted.

“Neither! I’m not staying! Nope!” Were the responses from the boys.

“Gabby could sit on my lap,” Connor suggested, blushing, “It’s only around the corner,”

The boys all smirked at me and my face heated up. We all squished in and sped off.

“Hey!” Connor had taken my phone and put his number in. Before I could get it back JC and Kian had put theirs in, followed by Sam and Trevor.
“Hey! I want to put mine in too!” Ricky said as we pulled up to my house. He put his number in and I got out. My phone was now full of selfies of them all, taking photos for their contacts. I gave my number to Connor and asked him to give it to the rest of them.

“Holy crap!” Kian said as he looked at my house.

“Oh My God!” Trevor exclaimed.
“Yeah, It’s pretty cool isn’t it?”

“Can I come and live with you?” I laughed at Trevor’s question as I reached for the door handle. They all insisted they came and walked me the HUGE distance of two meters to my front door. They all hugged me individually, Ricky, Sam, Kian, JC, Trevor and Connor. Connor’s lasted a little longer than expected but I liked it. Max opened the door before I could grab the key. He pulled me into a gigantic hug, death-staring at the boys over my shoulder, making them feel really uncomfortable. Did I mention he had great acting skills? “Hey. Sorry, lost track of time. You’re probably wondering who these guys are,” Max did that angry motherly nod but stayed silent. I stayed as cheery as I could, knowing what was coming next. I must have pretty good acting skills myself because the boys bought it.
