That night y/n went to bed, still with y/f/n's first words in her mind. Terrified. That she was.
She was terrified to be alone. She always hoped that someone would understand her, really know her, But with every second that passes she is losing more hope.
Y/n almost has none left. With a huge sigh she rolls over and grabs her phone to look at the time. It was already 2am. 'Great..' She said as she still didn't have any feeling of tiredness inside of her.
Accepting that she wasn't tired, she sat up and grabbed her phone and airpods. 'Some songs will help.' She decided and opened Spotify.
Y/n looked through her playlists and suddenly saw her playlist from Aidan Gallagher popping up. A smile crept on her face as she pushed on play.
With that she closed her eyes and enjoyed the songs as an amazing feeling filled her stomach as she heard his voice.

'Mom why are you waking me up? It's still early af..' She complained as she felt her wrist shivering. It wasn't exactly shivering either, and when she realized that, she opened her eyes in an instant.
Y/n practically jumped out of her bed in no time to put the light on. The shivering went on in her wrist and an excited feeling took over her body as she saw letters appearing on her skin.
Her body let itself fall down on her bed again. Not really sure if it was from tiredness of from excitement, she let herself fall back into her warm blanket. When the shivering ended she could read 'Are you still awake?'
That wasn't really a good first sentence to say to your soulmate, was it. Kind of disappointed y/n walked up to her bureau to grab a pen. Sitting down again she thought about what she should write.
On one side she wanted to give this person hell because they let her wait so damn long but she also wanted to make sure they had a good start from her side.
'You kind of woke me up so yeah..' She answered not really knowing what else she had to say.
'Sorry for that.' Appeared on her skin almost immediately after she had answered.
Not knowing what to say, y/n didn't answer anything back. The person should be sorry but not for that.
After several minutes of doubting if her soulmate would say more, it started again.
'I'm also sorry for letting you wait so long.' It said.
Y/n snorted and smiled softly as she had finally gotten the apologize that she had been waiting for for years. 'You should be. Why didn't you send sooner? I've tried to talk with you?'
It was true indeed, she had tried to talk to her soulmate before. They never answered though. So y/n just decided to stop trying and wait till they were ready.
'I just couldn't believe someone would have me as a soulmate actually. I was scared I'd mess up their lives.' Her person answered honestly.
Suddenly she felt the insecurity that person must have felt. 'Don't worry, I mean we're kind of made for each other.'
'I guess we are.' The smile on her face grew wider.
'Does this mean you're ready to talk to me now?' Y/n tried.
It took a minute or two till her soulmate answered but when her person did, she read 'Yes.'. It was short but y/n truly felt amazing.
