The moon had been up in the sky for several hours now. Only one lamp was making sure that y/n's room wasn't totally dark.

Her fingers were tapping rapidly over her keyboard as her eyes didn't leave her laptop screen.

'What happened to you and your soulmate?' Y/n whispered, knowing nobody could hear it.

She had been searching up her teacher for the whole evening already. Her eyes were now plastered on a class picture from her teacher's class many years ago. The kids on the picture were around the age of y/n now.

After searching for a few seconds, y/n had finally found her teacher. Her teacher's dark brown hair which which was now always in a messy bun was then beautiful long with some soft curls.

Her teacher had a huge smile on her lips and it did not seem as faked as on normal class pictures.

Y/n looked closer and noticed the girl holding hands with a boy standing next to her. He also had a smile on his lips. 'That's adorable!'

Of course y/n had to write her soulmate everything. She wrote the link on her wrist and added a

'second row, the girl and boy holding hands!'

After around a minute her soulmate had answered 'They're so adorable! Do you think that is her soulmate?'

'It must be! Look how in love they were!' Y/n wrote as she then looked back at the picture on the screen.

As she looked a bit closer she saw something written on her teacher's wrist. 'My girl'

'Look there is 'my girl' written on my teacher's wrist!'

It hadn't taken even two seconds since words appeared on y/n's wrist which said 'Look closer to the boy's wrist!'

It was hard to actually read since the writing wasn't that good and it of course y/n had to zoom in a lot..

It said 'What am I to you?'

'We were correct! They were soulmates!' Was now written on y/n's wrist.

Y/n looked once more at her teacher's wrist in the picture. A feeling of worry came upon her.

'She doubted his love..' She wrote down on her wrist 'She doubted her soulmate..'

'He showed her what he truly felt right after right? Look at her smile!'

But y/n wasn't convinced.. 'What if the doubt never went away and that's what ruined them?' She whispered to herself as she again took a look at the words on her teacher's wrist.

After searching some more on the internet they found out that the boy was named Ed.

Ed Williams.

He appeared to be a policeman now and looked very young for his age. Ed was also not married.

Y/n smiled softly as she wrote 'Both single!' On her wrist.

'That's awesome news!' She got as a response.

Not much later she got another phrase, one that made her think and realize she didn't know.

'What now?'

Y/n didn't know. Movies had made it look very easy. While in reality, y/n didn't even know how to start.

Unsure what to think about it or how they could do all this 'We should probably meet Ed.'

'But we don't know where he lives?'

'We could find out! We've got his name and there exists something as a phone book.' She smirked softly as she wrote her answer.

'We don't know where he lives do we? And williams is a very common name..'

It was true, the name Williams is verg common. A very popular last name and an unknown adress.

'We'll work it out.. We can try and maybe, who knows everything works out in the end and we can help two people fall in love again?'
