Nerves

Jade’s POV

          I woke up early again due to the sun. “Fuck I should get some curtains” I said as I stuffed a pillow over my eyes. I couldn’t fall back asleep. I sighed and went downstairs. “Dad?” I called out. No one answered, I looked around the house and no one was there, his car was gone. I went to the kitchen to get breakfast and saw a note. It read:

Jade, I forgot to tell you I start work early today, don’t know exactly when ill be back, but I know you can handle yourself for the day.

Cool, so I was home alone with nothing to do. I got out a bowl of cereal and went to sit on the couch. I watched some tv for a bit then decided to go get changed. I just put on jean shorts and a red tank top. I curled my hair a bit. As I was putting on my shoes I heard barking. I looked out my window to see Justin and his dog. I smiled really wide. I suddenly got nervous.

          I walked down stairs and went out the door. He looked over after hearing my door slam and smiled back at me. “Good morning” he said. “Morning” Bella ran up to me and gave me kisses I leaned down to pet her and said “and good morning to you too” Justin laughed and said “So, what are we doing today?” It made me blush that he wanted to hangout all day. “I don’t know. What’s there to do?” I said. I mean, I just moved here. “Well I was just gonna go on another walk with Bella, wanna join?” He asked. “Of course” I said. I felt comfortable with him. He was easy to talk to and he was so cute, so that’s a plus. I’ve never had a hot neighbor before. I kinda like it.

          We walked the beach and talked about stuff like music and movies. “Wait, you’ve never seen Superbad??” I asked. “Nope!” Justin replied. “You have to watch it, it’s so funny” “If you say so” he said all flirty. I blushed. I think he’s into me!! I smiled at him, he smiled back that charming smile, I melted. I was totally falling for him!

Justin’s POV

          I saw her blush, it was so cute. And she tried to hide it, I know she likes me. She smiled up at me and I smiled back. We walked back up to our houses. “Are you hungry?” She asked. “I guess, why?” “Well maybe we can eat at my house, I can repay you for last time” she said with a smirk. She’s inviting me over. “Sounds like a fair deal” I said jokingly. We’re totally flirting hard.

          I followed her up her deck and into her house. “What do you want?” She asked. “Uhhh what do you got?” I smirked at her. She laughed “well, I can make us some sandwiches?” “Sounds good” I said following her into the kitchen. We each made our sandwiches and sat down on the couch. “Hey I have Superbad wanna watch it?” she asked. “Sure!” I said taking a bite. She laughed “ok let me go get it, she ran upstairs.” Why does she have to be so cute?

Jade’s POV

          We sat on the couch with our food and I didn’t really know what to do. “Hey I have asked wanna watch it?” I asked. “Sure!” he said shoving food in his mouth, I giggled at how he chewed. Even when he is eating like an animal he’s cute. I thought. I ran upstairs getting the movie. I suddenly became nervous, I have a hot guy downstairs sitting next to me while I watch this inappropriate movie with him, I hope its not weird I thought.

          I walked back downstairs as Justin was almost done with his sandwich. “Damn, I guess you were hungry haha” he couldn’t even talk with all the food he was chewing. He just laughed. I put in the movie and sat back on the couch as I ate my food. It started and I became nervous. I finished my food. “Are you thirsty?” I asked him as he looked over at me. “Sure, water is fine” he said. I went to the kitchen and got us two waters.

Justin’s POV

          Damn this movie is funny, I thought. I’m getting nervous and I don’t know why. I’m always chill with girls, but this one is different I don’t want to fuck things up. I practically inhaled my sandwich like an idiot. Shit. She’s coming back form the kitchen. I hope she is as nervous as I am. Hopefully she can’t tell. She sat down and set my glass in front of me, she was eye level and she shyly smiled as she looked in my eyes. She sat down next to me and was a few inches away, she had moved closer this time. Be cool just focus on the movie
