as the weather began warming up, it was time for dresses and renesmee knew that - so that was why she had put on one of her favourite ones for her upcoming date with jacob.
she pushed back her hair and followed the sounds of the piano, where her dad had slouched, working on a piece.
"hey dad," she smiled. ever since she had quit social media, she had focused not only on herself, but on her relationships with people around her. sure, she would still take photos, but this time with one of her family's old cameras and then she would put them in the family scrapbooks and albums. no more sharing everything online. there was no need to.

with that, he faced her again. he gently stroked her face, the soft smile never leaving his lips: "you are stronger than them. you have been doing great and i won't let anybody tell you otherwise."
renesmee wanted to cry and smile at the same time, feeling loved, appreciated, wanted: "i would do the same for you."
and with that, they snapped yet another photo, but this time of their first kiss. and no, this photo was n o t going to be online. because not everything had to be.
