As the clock started ticking, more students entered inside the cafeteria. Xiao Zhan continued chatting with Ru Yi and Wang Yibo honestly showed his interest in the food. From time to time, Xiao Zhan's gaze wandered from Ru Yi to Wang Yibo's handsome features. Right from the start it was as if Wang Yibo swore not to spare his attention on Xiao Zhan.

Xiao Zhan frowned looking at the uncaring figure silently eating his meal. What was wrong with this idol, Xiao Zhan really couldn't bear to take it. He has been flirting with Wang Yibo's girlfriend shamelessly, but that fellow dares not to even take a look at them. Which boyfriend in the world would tolerate other boys flirting with their girl?

Xiao Zhan saw the black spots on white paper. There was definitely something wrong with this couple. Unable to mask his curiosity, Xiao Zhan asked, "Hey Chic, are you sure you're her boyfriend?"

And as usual, Wang Yibo ignored him like an invisible air. This act earned a muffled laughter from the nearby table. Xiao Zhan's friends who were enjoying the show with a bag of snacks laughed at him again. It was already half a day and Xiao Zhan was yet to get the attention of this idol. He fucking cannot lose his face. Xiao Zhan turned his face to send a death glare to his friend, asking them to stop embarrassing him. However, before he could do so, there was commotion at the food counter.

Before he could get up, a figure rushed towards their table with a tray of servings. "Hey Buddy! Missed you already." Wang Yibo's best friend, Seung-youn comes with hurried steps and occupies the seat beside Wang Yibo. He quickly places his plate on the table and circles his arm around the idol's shoulder, asking further, "Didn't you miss me?"

Looking at them Xiao Zhan felt the urge to leave this place right then and there. But he held himself back. He was here for a reason. He expected Wang Yibo to sit quietly. But to his surprise, the person who earlier was sitting quietly punched his fist on his friend's chest, complaining, "Of course I did. What took you so long? I was so bored to death here," as Wang Yibo said this, he pouted and Xiao Zhan's heart ached.

The pout soon got replaced with a smile and he asked with happy eyes, "What did you take?"

"Your favourite. But I won—" Seung-youn couldn't complete his sentence as Wang Yibo hugged him with twinkling eyes, with a bright smile adorning his lips, he muttered, "Thanks"

Xiao Zhan, who saw that smile for the first time, couldn't describe it. It was as if a ray of sunshine fell on the frostiness. It had the warmth, but was still cold beneath the layers. Xiao Zhan's heart fluttered at the sight of a smiling idol. But in the next second it ached as reality struck him with the fact that this smile wasn't for him, this amicable treatment wasn't for him. He wants to be the Seung-youn of Wang Yibo's life.

What the actual fuck! Xiao Zhan wants to slap himself for thinking shits. To get himself from the pit of dirt, Xiao Zhan let out a dry cough, "Ahem"
