Keith POV
When Lance said he was 'sorry' not only was I shocked but so was the rest of the team. What possible could he want to say? Allure starts speaking again, "So you're telling me you betrayed us just because of a threat?" A short and curt "yep" was all Lance said. He then said, "You guys here to torture me, because I'll let you know it's not my first rodeo." The team was shocked once again, but this time I wasn't. "I think it's time I tell you all a little story.."

"When I was a young lad I killed for sport, no it wasn't animals, but humans. Did I have fun? No. Was I forced to do it? Yes. Do I regret having the skills to kill? Never." It came out as more of a growl than anything. But he continued. "I joined the garrison because I wasn't only trying to get away from those people but also because a target of theirs was in the Garrison. And yes, it was you Shiro." There were a few gasps but Lance payed no mind to them and went on, "You were never supposed to go on the Kerberose mission. You were to be killed before you could leave. But alas I stopped them. Only to my dismay to find you dead anyway. Oh and then you were alive again. That was a complete shock." The team was confused and upset with what happened. "Lance, Who are you exactly." I spoke soft, but everyone still heard.

Lance POV
What Keith asked caught me off guard. Now there were 3 ways to answer this. I could answer with 'an assassin' but that would cause them to keep me in here. Now if I answered with the Lance who they have all known, that could lead to them miss trusting me. The last option I could this of was this, "I am me. A paladin of voltron, a person with a unique set of skills and some who betrayed there friends to save them." With this answer they would find it sincere and clear enough that maybe I might be able to get out of here. With that they looked at each other and decided to deliberate this new found information upstairs. They left me down here alone but not without Keith turning around and looking at me with a look of pure content.

After they left I was alone for hours. Contemplating what my next move was. If I could get Pidge or Hunk alone maybe I could convince them to let me out. Or Keith. I'd feel bad tricking him though. Hell he even kept my secret. He's a man that I love and I couldn't trick him like that for feel he'd never trust me again. After another few hours the elevator opened to reveal the one person I didn't want to see right now. Keith

He quickly ran up to the cell and opened it. Clearly confused I had no clue what to possible do in this situation. With confusion clearly written my face he says, "Come on. Let's go I'm getting us out of here." 'Us' what the hell does he mean us. He's not a prisoner. "Keith I don't think that this is smart on your part." He grabs my hand and starts pulling me towards the elevator. But I continue to resist. I don't want him getting in trouble for me. "Lance please just let's go." I could see how desperate he was. I followed him finally figuring that if I knock him out later maybe he could play it off as I kidnapped him or something. Getting into the elevator, he suddenly hugs me. "Lance lets stay together, okay. Just the two of us. No one else's we can be happy and never deal with anything ever again." As much as that would please me dearly I just couldn't do it. We were so different and I already had a plan in motion. Why let voltron take the life of someone if I could do it for them. Yes that is my plan. Kill Lotor so Voltron doesn't have too. "I'm sorry Keith. I love you but that can never happen. "And with that I knock him out in the elevator.
