Taken

Keith POV
The second I say Lance I can feel Shiro and Allura freeze. Lance takes this chance to grab the gem and run. He throughs 3 daggers at us, making us drop onto the ground. By the time we get up he is already running out of the cave. Allura and Shiro stop to see if Pidge and Hunk are okay. I don't stop. I reach the outside of the cave and Lance is surrounded by the village soldiers. I am about to yell at them to back off when Lance moves so fast I can't even see his movements. The soldiers fall and a dark crimson surrounds them. Lance walks over them like they are nothing to him but the dirt on his shoes. He walks off, but not before turning to me and saluting me. I stand there shocked until the sound of a galran fighter jet taking off sounds out. I look up to see it take off. It then blow ups and crashes into the woods, pulling me out of my daze. I run off towards it.

Upon reaching it I see Lance staggering out of it and cursing. Before I could confront him, he is pushed to the ground by Allura. She places handcuffs on him. I half expect him to make some dumb comment about how the handcuffs are kinky, but this isn't the same Lance as before. She pulls him off the ground and yells into her coms to Coran to get the castle jail ready. She strips him of all of his weapons and tech. She looks for the gem but doesn't see it. Lance gives her a cruel smile. "Sorry princess but I don't work alone." Shocked at the way Lance talked to her, she lets him go briefly. I expect him to escape but he just stands there. He let us take him.

Lance POV
I understand now why Lotor sent me on this mission. He wanted me to get captured by the Paladins. He wants to see if I'll brake or not. I still have the gem. I'm just a master at hiding this. I'm lucky Coran shot me down so close to the ground. I probably would have been more injured. I only have a dislocated shoulder. I'm pulled out of my thoughts by Allura when she pushes me towards her lion. I curse under my breath because of the pain and Keith must have heard it because he says, "Allura let me take him." She looks at him for a brief moment but then complies, "Don't you dare let him escape." Keith just nods and grabs me but in a less firm grip then Allura. We board the red lion and hits me. It caught me off gaurd and hurt like hell. I even yelled in pain but then I realized why he did it. My shoulder was no longer dislocated. I silently thanked him.

The jail cell was sooo much nicer than Lotors and they treat there prisoners better. I get fed twice a day and no interrogations. The only problem is that this method makes me worry about what they are planing. I see the elevator door open and all five Paladins come out. "We having a party?" I joke. Allura and Shiro glare at me while the rest look sad. They have all been in the healing pod recently. You can tell just by how healed they are after one day. Allura approaches, "Why would you join Lotor?" By that question I knew. Keith has kept my secret. "He wanted to hurt all of you so I went." They seemed shocked and had no clue as to what to say. I smiled and say. "I'm sorry."

Sorry for updating sooo slow. I forgot about this story until I got a notification a few days ago about someone saying how much they really like this. So now that I'm on summer break I'll try to update more.
