"Are you seriously siding with him, Harry? This makes no sense!" I exclaimed. Harry had decided to come to sit by us this morning. I always wondered what he did before class. A mystery for another day.

"Yes, aliens are totally real Lainey. You never know what our lunch could be made of. The pink goop story is truly an enigma," Harry defended while putting his hands up in defense. Niall never shut up about his stupid theories and now he has Harry in on it. What in the hell was I supposed to do with these two? I wasn't complaining because there was no fighting, but they seriously bonded over alien food. That sounds ridiculous.

"And I thought you were smart," I grumbled. Harry responded with a nudge to my shoulder.

"Hey, we should totally invite Harry to trivia with us tonight," Liam offered. Tonight was my off-night at work, meaning it was Wednesday. Liam had convinced me to come to this stupid trivia night they were having. I only agreed to go because Eleanor would be there and I never got to see her.

Harry sat shocked for a moment. He was doing his thinking face. The one where his eyebrows slightly furrowed and he stuck his bottom lip out a bit farther than the top. He wasn't used to people inviting him places. For the last few years, everyone either was scared of him or wanted to sleep with him. There was no in-between.

"Come on Harry, I'll be there. It'll be fun. I take back what I said about you being dumb. You can be smart sometimes," I urged. I didn't want to push him too far. His comfort levels were in my best interest.

"That sounds cool. What time?" He responded. I internally screamed with excitement. Having him there with me would make the night so much more exciting.

"It's at the community center by the park at 5. We can pick you up if you'd like?" Niall suggested. Harry looked panicked. His home life wasn't something he didn't want me, let alone Niall, to see. I gripped his hand and squeezed it.

"No, I'll drive myself. Thank you though," Harry kissed the top of my hand. I blushed at his smirk. He hardly showed affection like this in front of other people. His reasoning being he didn't want people to get the wrong idea. Knowing he was comfortable enough around my own friends to do that made me happy. It also made me happy that he did that in the first place. I can't imagine how his lips would taste on mine.

The bell rang so everyone started to file to their classes and Harry and I did the same. He helped me up and walked to class with me. He was such a good soul. Some of his past actions argued against that, but the person he has become outshines all of that. There was not one friend or family of his that I have met that can argue otherwise. Kids at school can say whatever they want about him, but they don't know the Harry I do. A part of me wishes I could keep that Harry to myself, but the other wishes others could experience the fascinating being that is Harry Styles.

We sat in our chairs and waited constantly for Dr.Ashley to arrive. The bell rang and he still wasn't there. The classroom door opened slowly revealing our principal. He had a dry look on his face. Our class stared quietly and patiently. Everyone was on edge, worried that they were going to get in trouble. Dr.Ashley shows up behind him, the same look upon his face.

The silence was broken when their eyes met mine and Harry's, "Elaine, Harry, we need you to come to the principal's office with us. Now."

We looked at each other with a distressed expression upon our face. We slowly rose to our feet and walked to the door. The principal looked pissed, not just normal pissed, but big-time pissed. That made my heart race even faster. Harry's breaths seemed uneven as well. He took my hand in his, in hopes of calming himself down. He's been to the office for trouble a handful of times, but never with me. He was trying to become a better person and another detention slip would ruin his confidence.
