His friend group started to surround me and they all grinned wickedly, "It's Jackson, from biochem? I sit behind you and Liam."
That's where he came from. I knew he looked familiar. I was still extremely uncomfortable. They were so close to me I could feel their breath on my face. My breath started to quicken and my heart started to race.
"Why don't you come to lunch with us Elaine?" They suggested in a taunting voice.
"Yeah, Elaine," Another one piped in.
"No thank you, please go away," I stuttered while starting to shut down.
"Are you alone?"
"A pretty girl like you shouldn't be alone."
"You look awfully nice today Elaine."
"I'm here with m-my boy-boyfriend," I choked while trying to hold back tears. They brushed their hands on my shoulders and pulled at the stockings on my legs. Their grimy hands felt disgusting against my skin.
I was frozen. My body wasn't moving. I should've been protesting, but I couldn't. My brain was telling me to scream and fight, but my body wasn't. I felt my wrist being grabbed and pulled. Their grip was hard and my skin was easily going to bruise. There were four or five boys running their hands all around my body and I wasn't doing anything about it. I was going against what I had always fought for. The moment was just paralyzing. What was I supposed to do?
I was just about to pass out when I heard yelling. My eyes were coated with tears, but I could recognize the voice automatically. It was deep than I had ever heard it. I was almost scared and relieved at the same time. The hands suddenly dropped from my body and I collapsed to the floor. I tried to look for Harry, but all I could see was fuzzy figures fighting. Everything started to fade away and go black.

"Lainey, baby, please tell me you can hear me," a soft voice begged. I slowly fluttered my eyes open to find myself propped against a wall. Pine-green eyes met mine. I slowly focused on every aspect of the face in front of me. Smooth pink lips. Cocoa curls. Worried expression. Harry.
I tried to reply, but my mouth didn't open. All I could let out was a small whimper, just to let him know I was aware. He went from his squatting position in front of me to beside me and pulling me into his chest. His lips met my forehead and stayed there for a few seconds before pulling away. His touch was enough to let me know I was okay.
That's when everything started to rush back to me. The boys. I began to hyperventilate again. Their taunting words and calloused hands. I started to feel trapped. Harry loosened his grip on me and started to feed some calming words into my head.
"They aren't here. They aren't going to hurt you, I promise," He cooed letting me go.
"No, no please hold me," I finally managed to choke out. He nodded and I could feel the warmth and calmness his embrace brought.
I was surprised to see no one around. The store was nearly empty. It was more like a warehouse, but it was quiet nonetheless. It wasn't very crowded in the first place. I remember we were in the far back of the store when it happened. How long had it been? Hours? Minutes?
"Harry?" I peeped. He looked down at me with soft eyes, "How long has it been. What, uh what happened?"
He pursed his lips, "You were out for about fifteen minutes. I think it was just shock. Nobody noticed, unfortunately. I just let those assholes know not to mess with you again. Do you want to file a police report?"
Thank god I wasn't out for too long. It felt like forever. I sat in silence for a couple of minutes before replying, "No. You know courts don't take cases like this seriously. Besides, I'd rather just forget about it. I have better things to worry about."
