Chapter 12

The choreographer said that he wanted to have a chat with Areum and Donghyuck before he started teaching them the dance. Areum and Donghyuck nodded and sat down infront of the chereographer. 

"Ok, thank you for coming and letting me choreograph this song. I know that I've only listened to the demo version of your song but I've already fallen in love with it and I know that your fans will love it too" The choreographer told the two. They both thanked him and then he continued what he was saying. "As this song is a love song, the choreography is quite sensual and the two of you have to be quite close during the dance, I just wanted to tell you and ask if the two of you are ok with it" The choreographer said to them nervously. They both blushed at the mention of the two of them dancing like that together but they both agreed to do it as it would show their maturity to their fans and, even if they wouldn't admit it themselves, they were both quite happy with the arrangement. The choreographer noticed how the two in front of him blushed when he mentioned their style of dancing and smirked to himself. "Ok, great, we can start now" He said to them. "Wait, I have a question. If you don't mind me asking, what's your name?" Areum asked the choreographer. "Oh, pardon me, I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Minhyuk" He replied to Areum. "Nice, I like that name, nice to meet you Minhyuk" Areum said to him. He just nodded and they started learning the dance".

This is the dance that they'll be learning :) 

When they finished getting the steps down, they had to do a couple of run throughs to practice it. Areum and Donghyuck danced so elegantly together, Minhyuk was in complete awe. Areum's favourite part of the dance was the end, where they sing the final notes staring into each others eyes, foreheads together. Areum felt so connected with Donghyuck, it was as if when they did the dance that they were the only two people in the world. Donghyuck's favourite part was when he lifts Areum and then she puts her legs around his waist and he spins her around. He loved the feeling of her being in his arms. He wishes that he could hold her in his arms forever and protect her from anything and everything. They had such amazing chemistry together. It was as if they were made to dance together. They were in their element when they were dancing together. 

They went through the dance a couple of times before taking a break. They sat against the mirror talking to each other with a bottle of water each. Minhyuk came over to them and started to converse with them also.

"The two of you are amazing dancers, I was genuinely in awe while watching the two of you dance together" Minhyuk complimented the two of them. Areum and Donghyuck thanked him and the three of them continued talking to each other. Minhyuk noticed the look in Donghyuck's eyes as he looked at Areum and he noticed the same look in Areum's eyes as she looked at Donghuck. He inwardly cooed at their obvious feelings for each other. 

After a while, the three of them decided to run through the dance one last time before Areum and Donghyuck left to go back to the dorms. As they were dancing Jaemin looked through the small window on the door to check on them and watched as the gracefully danced together. He called over Jeno to watch the two of them as well. They were blown away at the two's talent and the chemistry that they had while dancing together.

Areum and Donghyuck finished the dance and stayed in their position for a second with Donghyuck's arms around Areum's waist and he rested him head in between Areum's neck and shoulder. They then heard clapping from outside of the room and quickly jumped apart and looked to see who it was and saw Jaemin and Jeno clapping while looking at them through the glass pane in the door. Areum and Donghyuck both blushed amd Jaemin and Jeno came into the room.

"Guys! You two were amazing! The two of you dance so well together!" Jamein said the the two blushing messes in the middle of the room. Areum and Donghyuck shyly said thank you and then Jeno suggested that they'd go home as the dreamies were also finished practice. Areum and Donghyuck thanked and bowed to Minhyuk and left with Jeno and Jaemin who were gushing over Areum and Donghyuck's dance while they were madly blushing.

They all returned to the dorms and started preparing to go to bed when Donghyuck appeared in Areum's room. "Oh, hey Hyuckie, is there anything I can do for you?" Areum said to him when she realized that he was there. Donghyuck's heart fluttered at the nickname again. "I just came to tell you that you were great today during practice" Donghyuck replied, rubbing the back of him neck. "Oh, thank you Hyuckie, you were great too! Is there anything else you needed?" Areum asked. "Thank you too! No, I'm ok, I just came to tell you that, have a good night's sleep and I'll talk to you tomorrow" Donghyuck replied. "Night Hyuckie" Areum called out to him as he was leaving his room. "Night Ari" Donghyuck responded, smiling at the nickname that he gave her. Areum was in her room, a blushing mess because of the nickname that Donghyuck gave her. That night, the two lovebirds went to bed with smiles on their faces.
