Chapter 26

That night Areum had the spare bedroom and Renjun got the couch. The two had a big argument over who was gonna get the bed and who was gonna get the couch and it ended with them flipping a coin.
They were all in bed, when Areum heard a sort of whimper. Then it got louder. For a moment, Areum thought that one of her friends we're being attacked so she jumped out of bed and began to run out of her room. They she realized that Kiera gets really bad night terrors.
Areum had forgotten all about them. She forgot how bad they could be a times where she's feeling overwhelmed in any emotion, even happiness.
Areum ran towards Kiera's room to go console her and she she entered, she saw Renjun holding Kiera, trying to calm her down. Renjun looked up and immediately blushed before looking back down to Kiera.
"You know, she's always had really bad night terrors" Renjun looked up in surprise. He wanted to ask why but he didn't want to be disrespectful. "I know you want to know why, but I can't tell you. She'll tell you when she's ready. She doesn't open up to new people very well" Renjun just nodded and looked back down to Kiera. At this stage, her nightmares had finished and she was sleeping peacefully. He was analysing Kiera's face, admiring her beauty. "You like her, don't you" Renjun went extremely red. "W-what, no, I just met her" Renjun was stuttering and messing up his words. "You're such a shite lier" Areum starting laughing at Renjun. Renjun got even more red, if that's possible. "Areum! I just met her!" Renjun starting laughing with Areum. After a bit of laughter with some funny comments here and there, they finally calmed to a comfortable silence.
"She likes you. I can tell. I've known her so long that I know how she's feeling. You've always been her favourite in NCT so it could be that but I feel like it's a but more. Get closer to her. Make her feel like she can trust you, she'll open up to you then" Renjun just smiled. "She's different, I don't know what it is, I've never felt this way about a girl so quickly" Areum just quietly cooed.

After a while of talking, Areum and Renjun thought it would be weird if Kiera was to wake up, being in Renjuns arms with Areum just watching so they carefully removed Kiera from Renjun and went to the sitting room. At this stage it was about 4am but they weren't tired so they stayed up talking and getting to know each other better. They've been good friends for a while but they haven't had a proper talk where it's just the two of them talking with no interruptions.
Areum actually found out quite a but about Renjun, which she was very happy about.
At about 7am, they heard Kiera coming into the sitting room. She looked so tired. Areum thought it must if been because of the bad dream from a few hours prior. "Morning Kiera!!" Areum sounded to jolly for 7am. "Christ Almighty God, it's 7am, why are you so hyper?" Areum laughed. "Well, jet lag does that to you. It's like 8pm in Korea or something, so at like 5pm for you we'll be shattered" The three just laughed and chatted for a while before going to get ready for the day.

The three all went to the local shopping centre in the area at about noon to go for lunch and to just look around for some cool stuff to buy. They started by going to a local cafe and got some food to eat before walking into a nearby shop.

They were all looking around when Kiera found a cuddly toy that she liked. She checked the price tag and then checked how much money she had with her and saw that she wouldn't be able to afford it because she wanted new clothes and wouldn't have enough money for them. She sulked for a bit but eventually left it.

The three went around to different shops and eventually went home, their arms were killing them from carrying tons of bags around the place. They went into the house and collapsed on the couch, exhausted.

After dinner, which Kiera and Areum cooked, they were all showing what they bought. Areum and Kiera had already finished showing what they got and it was Renjun's turn. He got a bunch of clothes for him and some souvenirs for the members. He got to the final item. It was the cuddly toy that Kiera wanted. When he pulled it out of the bag, Kiera gasped and Renjun gave it to her. "Omg! Renjunnn! You shouldn't have got this for me!" Areum was just silently awwing, watching this all unfold. "Well, I saw that you wanted it but you couldn't get it, so, I decided to get it for you as a thank you gift for letting me stay a-and you're really nice so I thought you deserved a nice gift" Renjun stuttered as he talked. He was a bright red and so was Kiera. "Thank you so much Renjunie" Kiera said sincerely. "Aww! You guys are so cute!!!!!" Areum said loudly. They both got startled as they forgot she was there. "Areum! I swear to God! I'm gonna throw off the top of the Eiffel Tower bitch!" Kiera started chase Areum around the house.

After a while, they all went to bed, happy as can be
