Chapter 24

Areum was cooking dinner in the kitchen while listening to music through her headphones when she felt arms wrap around her waist from behind. "Oh My God, Hyuckie!! You scared me!" Areum pouted while turning around in Donghyuck's arms. "Oops... Sorry" Donghyuck giggled with a cheeky grin. Areum turned back around, faking being mad while continuing to cook everyone's  dinner. "Ari? Are you ok?" Areum kept ignoring Donghyuck. "Baby, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you!" Areum felt bad so she was about to turn around and tell him that it was ok but instead, Donghyuck spun her around and planted a kiss at the corner of her mouth. To say Areum was shocked would be an understatement. Areum starting stuttering which made Donghyuck smirk. "U-umm, D-Donghyuck?" Donghyuck's smirk only grew lnowing that he flustered his girlfriend. "Yes babe?" Donghyuck smugly looked at Areum. "You're so annoying! You always make me flustered and blushing!" Areum whined which only made Donghyuck coo at her and giggle. "Stop!" Areum whined again. Donghyuck giggled at his girlfriend before letting go of her waist and walking to go get a drink. "Anyway, why did you scare me?" Domghyuck reached up to get a cup from the cupboard. "Oh, I just wanted a hug, I didn't mean to scare you, sorry about that by the way" Donghyuck pouted slightly at the end of the sentence. "Oh, it's ok baby! Don't worry! I wasn't mad by the way, I was just messing with you" Areum giggled. "Ari! You scared me! I thought you were mad at me!" Donghyuck playfully glared at Areum. "Well.. It was worth it" Donghyuck slightly blushed. "Now, go away, I need to finish your dinner, I'll call you when it's ready" Donghyuck sighed. "Fine, I'll be up in my room" Donghyuck grumbled and left the room. Areum giggled at her boyfriend and went to finish the dinner.

After dinner, Areum went up into her room to relax when she got a phone call from Kiera, her friend from America. "Kiera! Hi!" Areum ran into her room and jumped onto her bed, excited that she got to talk to her friend. "Hey Areum! How's everything going in Korea?" "Oh! Everything's great thanks, how's everything in America?" Areum grabbed her teddy and hugged it. "I don't know, can you do me a favour?" Areum grew to be very confused. "Uhh, sure.. What's wrong?" There was confusion laced in Areum's voice. "Can you go outside please?" This got Areum even more confused. "Ehh, sure, you better not be outside or I will kick your ass" Areum started getting excited, hoping to see her best friend. Kiera hung up and Areum rushed to throw on her shoes.

Areum rushed outside and saw an envelope on the ground. It was addressed to her so she opened it and it was two plane tickets to America. Areum was in shock. Tears started to fill her eyes. Kiera had bought her two plane tickets to go visit her and she gets to take someone with her. 

Areum walked back into the dorm and went up to Donghyuck and Renjun's shared room to find Donghyuck. When Areum entered the room, Renjun was the only one there. "Oh! Renjun, have you seen Hyuckie? I need to talk to him" Renjun looked up at Areum. "I think he's in your room, he said he was going there to watch a movie or something" Areum smiled at the slightly older boy. "Thanks Renjunie! Talk to you soon!" Renjun just smiled at Areum before tooking back at the book he was reading. 

Areum ran into her room to see Donghyuck sitting cross legged on her bed, with a laptop in his lap and some snacks for the two to eat. Donghyuck looked up at his girlfriend and smiled cutely at her. "Hyuckie! Kiera, my best friend from back home, just sent me two plane tickets to go see her in America!" Donghyuck looked at Areum in surprise. "Really? When do you leave?" Areum sat on the bed next to Donghyuck. "Monday, was wondering if you wanted to come with me" Donghyuck looked excited but then his face dropped. "Ari.. I' sorry, I can't, I have promotions with 127 in Japan, we leave on Sunday" Areum's face dropped, but then she smiled. "That's ok! I just take one of the other boys. I think I'll take Renjun, I feel like him and Kiera would get along great, they are very alike, but I'll miss you loads, I'll be in America for two weeks, so that's two weeks without you" Areum tried to lighten the sad mood by making everything positive but she couldn't help getting slightly upset at the fact that she won't be able to see Donghyuck for two weeks. "Well, we can face time every night, ell try because of the time zone difference. I'm sure you and Renjun will have fun!" Donghyuck tried to lighten the mood. "Look, while I set up a movie for us to watch, why don't you ask Renjun if he wants to come to America with you" Areum nodded before giving Donghyuck a quick hug and leaving the room. 

Areum reached Donghyuck and Renjun's room. She knocked first and then entered the room to see Renjun reading a book. "Hey Renjun! Can I ask you something?" Renjun looked up at Areum before nodding. "I know this is very sudden but do you want to come to America with me?" Renjun's eyes lit up. "Wait, Really? You want to take me to America with you?" Areum nodded. "Of course, my friend Kiera sent over two plane tickets to go see her and I thought you and her would get along great" Renjun smiled before getting off his bed and hugging Areum. "Thank you so much Areum!" Reunjun let go of Areum and sat at his desk. "No problem!" Renjun looked up at Areum inquisitively. "Quick question, why aren;t you taking Donghyuck?" "Oh, he's doing promotions with 127 so he'll be busy, but I'm happy that I'm taking you, we haven't talked much recently and I'm sorry about that so I thought how else better for us to get closer again then to go on a trip together" Renjun smiled. "One last thing, when are we leaving?" "Oh, ya, sorry, we're leaving on Monday, so you should start packing soon because today is already Friday" Renjun smiled and Areum said her goodbyes and left the room to go watch the movie with Donghyuck, excited about Monday.
