"Javitengoalgoquedecir," I blurted to my Spanish friend.
"Lyuba? Que dices?" he questioned.
"I have something to say...to you." I felt like I could confide in him about my feelings for Yuzuru. He'd know what I should do.
"I have a crush on Yuzuru."
Javi opened him mouth to say something but I cut him off. "I know. Yuzuru has someone waiting for him back in Sendai and there's no chance at all that he would date me. I just want to know if you have any advice for me? Katya's just telling me to ignore my feelings but it's hard when I have to see Yuzuru every single day--"
"I know Lyuba. It's okay to have those feelings. And it's good that you understand he is not available now. I have no problem balancing my work and leisure life, but Yuzuru just always wants more and more. I'm the only one who can get him to do fun things. At least, that was until you came along. He does seem to have a soft spot for you."
"Katya noticed that too." So it must be true.
"Well, I just want to see you happy. Do whatever makes you happy. I'm not sure if this is the best advice, but this is all I can say in this situation."
"Thank you Javi." I hugged him and walked out of the locker room.
Suddenly, someone blinds me with gloved hands. I groan inwardly, already knowing who it is. I turned around.
"Peek-a-ROO!" Yuzuru laughed at his own pun.
"Stop treating me like a baby," I grumbled at the boy, but he just kept on laughing. Of course, I couldn't stay mad at him for long. But I wish he would see me more as his equal rather than like a little sibling.
Yuzuru seemed to sense this and backed away a little. "Gomen...sorry," he said. "I respect you boundary."
I smiled back at him, feeling slightly guilty, even though I shouldn't feel that way. "Don't be sorry," I assured him. "I'm just happy to get some attention from my most favorite guy in the world," I cooed as I squished his cheeks.
"HEY!" the boy retorted.
"Now you know how I feel!" I winked at him and skipped away, feeling pleased with myself.
"She's right, you know." A voice spoke out behind Yuzuru.
Javi walked towards him. "She's not so little anymore. Treat her more like a lady and less like a girl."
"I see, I see." Yuzuru became even more flustered.
"Besides, you don't know it, but you're hurting her a lot when you treat her like that. She's very much in love with you."
Yuzuru's eyes almost popped out of their sockets.
"Oops! Dije demasiado!" Javi chuckled nervously. "Don't tell Lyuba what I told you, 'kay?" He sprinted away.
Yuzuru wasn't about to do that. Actually, he had no idea what to do at all. "Wait! JAVIIII!!!!!"

(a few days after Yuzuru beats up Javi and gets the truth out of him...does time even matter anymore? time is just a construct people it doesn't MATTER wait what day is it do I have an exam ok maybe it does matter a little bit ahhhhhhh)
"When you had Phantom of the Opera as your freeskate, were you trying to emulate the Phantom or Raoul?"
Yuzuru thought about my question for a few drawn out moments. We were both spending another break time in the locker room, chatting (using my super duper translator app) and sharing snacks. Mom bought me some Pocky snacks, which I very much enjoyed eating. Yuzuru liked them too, but not as much as his mom's seaweed rice wraps.
