Its time to open the curtains

ELIZABETH POV

After 5 minuets of crying I finally got back up, while walking to the bathroom I started feeling a little bit sick, I'd been throwing up a little bit but not that much, it was rare and only lasted for a short period of time.

When I finally reached the bathroom door a sudden wave of extreme nausea hit me. I ran to the toilet and threw up whatever was left in my stomach, I just stayed there, on the floor with my head in the toilet bowl, spewing my guts out. It was different then all those other times, this time it was so bad I was crying for it to stop.

I was so lost in throwing up, I didn't even notice the door to Meliodas and my bedroom being opened. I didn't hear the footsteps getting closer and closer to the bathroom, but I felt someone stroking my back. "Are you okay?" It was Meliodas, his voice was filled with concern. " ..." I went to answer, but I ended up vomiting even more.

When the nausea finally subsided I was able to get up. He stopped me and decided it would be best if he carried me to bed and ran the bath while I had a rest. I didn't argue with him. He carefully slid one of his arms under my legs and another firmly on my back, he held me bridal style. Lifting me up slowly, he continued to walking into the bedroom and over to the bed. I didn't want him to let me go. I wanted him to just hold me in his arms a bit longer. He put me down gently and grabbed a bucket for emergencies, then he spoke. "Are you feeling any better?".
" yeah, I don't think my body is reacting very well to being pregnant." I sighed. " Now I'm just hungry."
" I'll go get ya somethin." He smiled at me and then disappeared out the door. I started to cry, I missed him so much, WAIT, why am I crying?
He'll be back soon, I'm just so fucking hormonal at the moment.

Five minuets later he returned with a bowl of soup and some tea, he walked over to the bed and sat down beside me, he gave me the plate and the drink, then proceeded to talk. " Has it been getting worse?" His words were shaky. Is something bothering him?
"Yeah, at first it was just a little bit, but now, it's becoming too much for me to handle." I stopped, I lent into the bucket as the nausea returned. Meliodas just rubbed my back as I hurled into the bucket. He seemed really worried over nothing.
"Elizabeth, I need to tell you something, we'r- " he stopped, if he stressed her out, she could lose the baby. "Never mind, forget I said anything."

He'll have to tell her someday, because he doesn't have forever. He won't have her forever.
