MELIODAS POV

"I'm gonna go and run you a bath, I'll be back in a second." "Wait! Please don't leave me." She said with tears in her eyes. "Don't worry, I'll be back soon." I grinned at her and left, I began to fill the bath with warm water. 'I need to tell her someday'. Those words echoed through my head.
I ran my hand through the warm water to make sure it wasn't too hot, I then added the soap. "The baths ready." I called out to Elizabeth. "I'm comi - ". " No, I'll come and get you." His words were strict, but caring. "Oh, o - kay."
I re,entered the bedroom and walked over to were Elizabeth sat. Something seemed...Different about her, but I didn't know what it was, maybe it was just the fact that she was pregnant. I helped her off the bed and into the bathroom.
I then left so she could undress and get into the bath, before I could leave the room I heard Elizabeth call for me. I opened the door and walked into the bathroom, not being able to look away from her naked form. "Can you join me?" She said with a slight blush. "Of course". I couldn't refuse. Even though we couldn't do it, because it might hurt the baby, didn't mean I couldn't enjoy seeing her naked. I took off my clothing with haste, then proceeded to get into the warm bath. "I feel so lonely on my own." "But your not alone, you have me." I looked at her lovingly. Taking in her pale skin and silver hair. "I've started showing already." She smiled at me, her kindness and love prominent. "C - can I feel?" Sure enough Elizabeth shifted in the tub so she was sitting on his lap. She took his hand under the water and placed it on her small baby bump which signed the life growing within her. He rubbed circles, keeping his hand there firmly, protectively. No one was going to touch his Woman or unborn child "Do you think it will be a boy or a girl?" Elizabeth looked at him and thought for a while. "We could have both, I don't know, I could have twins." Instead of being exited, she seemed scared. "What if something goes wrong? What if I do have twins and one dies? I don't think I would be able to handle that Meliodas!" She started to cry "Hey, hey. It's alright, I'll be here for you. I will always be here for you!"
"But you won't be able to prevent the future. There could be a war, while I'm still pregnant, and I could get killed, along with our unborn child."
Her words caused his grip on Elizabeth to tighten, his thoughts going dark. 'What if she's right, you won't be able to protect them from the 10 commandments, from your own clan, from the curse. She'll just die, along with your child.'
His bangs covered his face, Elizabeth kept saying his name, but he couldn't hear her over his inner demon. His hand still on her stomach protectively. "Meliodas!" She yelled, no response. She tried to get out of the tub, but his grip on her was so tight that she couldn't move. "Your hurting me." Her words were like a silent breeze, to him it was background sound. ' she's going to die, she's going to die, SHE'S GOING TO DIE!' His inner demon screamed at him. He felt numb all over, he couldn't feel anything.
His inner demon stopped when he heard Elizabeth crying. "E - E - Elizabeth. I - I'm so, SO, sorry."
She got out of the tub, grabbed the towel, and walked into the bedroom.

"I really fucked up this time". I whispered.
