"What do you think you're doing?" Xian asked coldly as his stares are already fixed to Hunter.

"What are you doing here aren't you supposed to be with my father? Isn't he supposed to introduce you to the board as my fiancé?" Aubrey that'sjust far behind me and Hunter asked Xian.

Noong una ay hindi sinagot ni Xian ang tanong ni Aubrey sa kaniya but instead he strode to me and grabbed my hands tightly.

"Teka saan mo ako dadalhin?" kinakabahan kong tanong kay Xian, habang hindi ko malaman kung ano ba ang magagawa ko sa mga oras na iyon.

"Just fucking come with me." he was pretty irked.

"Just what the hell are you doing here Xian are you really going to mess up our marriage arrangement because of that stupid gold digger that you're protecting right now?" naiiritang pagkaka-bulyaw ni Aubrey.

"Can't you see I ditched the meeting as soon as I heard that that scumbag is leeching on Zoe!" he answered right back honestly while pointing to Hunter as he referred him as a scumbag.

"So what now are you really going to back of that engagement just because of her?!" Aubrey irritatedly replied.

"Correction I'm no scumbag..." pag-singit ni Hunter.

"Shut the fuck up Hunter or else I'll cut yoyr tongue off and feed them to the wolves!" Aubrey got even more irritated when Hunter interrupted her.

"Now answer me Xian!" She said.

"Didn't I told you already I don't like you at all Aubrey, I just pretended to not be bothered because my father asked me to." Xian replied.

"Wait you mean if Zoe didn't come then you'll be okay staying quiet with me?" Aubrey asked.

"Yes, but because of Zoe I finally understand the feeling that others feel. The feeling that makes you happy, pumped and excited to see the same face over and over again everyday." Xian honestly replied back to Aubrey.

"But you already accepted the engagement Xian there's no backing down now..." Aubrey tried to pursue Xian once more.

"Can't you understand?! Audrey we're just business pawns for our family's future plans!  Ang tingin lang nila sa atin ay maliliit na mga chess pieces na pwedeng galawin at pakinabangan hindi mo ba naiintindihan?!" bulyaw ni Xian.

"Don't you want to be free? Don't you want to fall inlove with someone whom you truly love and spend the rest of your life with them?" wika ni Xian habang dahan-dahan akong hinila palalapit sa piling niya.

Napatungo si Aubrey at hindi kaagad nakapagsalita matapos marinig ang mga salitang binitawan ni Xian.

"You think I did this stupid arrangement because my father wanted me too? Oo totoo half of that was true but what I'm feeling is genuine Xian!" Aubrey bursted and walked away from the scene.

"Aubrey..." I tried to reach out but then Xian told me not to even bother for now.

"Huwag muna." wika nito.

"Great job brother!" Hunter sneered at him and applauded Xian for making Aubrey finally burst out of tears.

"That's my man." kaniyang pagkakapalakpak habang nginingitian si Xian.

"Don't you fucking start right now." Xian held my hand a bit tighter. This time I kind of felt that he is infuriated because of Hunter kept on messing on him.

"Teka lang bro wala naman akong ginawa, I'm not the bad guy here." He said.

"I think you are the bad guy in this situation..." he added then laughed at Xian who's already trying to control his anger by clenching his fist.
