"YOU'RE NOT TAKING ME ANYWHERE!" Thalia clutched to her bedsheets as Eloise screamed in the background.
"LET GO OF HER!" she screeched and tried to hit away the hand that was going to grab her wrist. Thalia felt someone's fingers close around her ankle and thrashed around in an attempt to loosen their grip. To her side she could see Eloise reaching for her wand and she and her friend met eyes, the looks on their faces being all the communication they needed. They went in for the double attack when the door slammed open and James and Sirius exploded into the room.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY GIRLFRIEND!" James bellowed as he ran towards Thalia and Sirius did the same with Eloise, shielding them from the attack. James heard footsteps behind him and carefully pushed Thalia off her bed and onto the floor,
"James! No!" she shouted as two hands hooked under his armpits and dragged him off the bed,
"I'll be back, Thals! I promise!"
"Oh, will you stop being so dramatic and bloody go to the Great Hall!?" Remus let go of James so he fell to the floor, "Exams are starting in less than half an hour!"
Thalia whined loudly as she climbed back up to her feet, shooting Remus a dirty look as she passed him to help James up. Across the room Sirius was pulling Eloise up to stand whilst the girl looked very sulky indeed.
"You bruised my wrist with your grip, Moony." she pouted and Remus' eyes widened as he went to go and look,
"What? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Did I really?"
"No, I was just trying to make you feel bad." Eloise showed him her un-bruised hand and smiled cheekily before taking Sirius' hand and walking out of the dorm.
"I am friends with toddlers." Remus muttered before following the rest of the Marauders out of the room.

"Where's Peter?" Eloise asked, leaning against Sirius' chest as they were waiting to go into the hall.
"He's gone to the kitchens for his 'lucky mushroom risotto' before we go in." James answered and Eloise nodded, it's where he went before every exam.
"Did you revise, Elle?" Thalia asked and Eloise scoffed loudly,
"What do you think?" she asked and Thalia smirked but Remus cleared his throat and gave his friend a disappointed look, "To be fair, Moony, I really did try but then my boyfriend, who happens to be a dog, decided he wanted to distract me." the girl tapped her boyfriend on the nose and he winked at her.
"He distracted you all night?" Remus asked before holding up a hand, "You know what, don't answer that." he shuddered and Sirius smirked as he kissed the top of Eloise's head.
"I don't think I need to ask if you studied." Eloise looked at Thalia with a soft laugh and the girl shrugged with a smile,
"I never do and I never will."
"Well, I didn't revise!" Sirius raised a hand and Remus' expression got more and more disappointed,
"Me neither." James said as he walked up behind Thalia and wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her head.
"We never do yet we always get the top grades." Sirius smirked at James and the boys high-fived as their respective girlfriends rolled their eyes,
"We don't have to get good grades because we're pretty." Eloise said bluntly and Thalia gasped lightly before laughing and clapping slowly,
"Exquisitely put." she gave her friend an incline of the head and Eloise winked at her, "Not to mention if we marry rich men we'll never have to work again."
"But you're both rich yourselves..." Remus muttered but was ignored as Sirius decided to speak much louder (being the attention seeker he was),
"So you're gold diggers is what you're saying?" Sirius raised an eyebrow and Eloise and Thalia looked at each other before looking at each of their boyfriends - both of whom belonged to exceedingly wealthy pureblood families - and nodded simultaneously,
"Yes, yes we are." Thalia smiled,
"I will not dispute that." Eloise held up her hands and Sirius and James shook their heads in amusement.
"In fact..." Thalia began, a mischievous look on her face, "We could not revise but still get good grades another way." the brunette smirked at her best friend and Eloise raised an eyebrow,
"Do tell."
"We seduce the examiner."
"YES!" Eloise stood up off of Sirius and pulled Thalia away from James, "We should definitely-"
"Not!" Remus was ignored,
"-do that!" Eloise clapped her hands together and a smile spread on Thalia's face, as she reached over to fluff her friends hair up and rolled her own skirt up. Eloise soon followed suit, undoing the top button of her school shirt and closing her eyes, using her metamorphmagus abilities to make her eyelashes longer and darker and her lips slightly pinker.
"Show off." Thalia mumbled as she pulled a tube of lipgloss out of her robes and applied it to her lips.
"I cannot believe this." James muttered under his breath and the girls turned to see the boys shaking their heads,
"Right in front of us as well." Sirius gave his girlfriend a death stare and Eloise winked at him as the door to the hall opened.
"You may all come in." McGonagall called to the students, frowning at the girls in relation to their looking like prostitutes and Thalia and Eloise smiled at each other, linking arms and walking into the hall. The Marauders looked towards the desk at the back of the hall and five jaws dropped.
"Shit."
"Oh no."
"Uh oh."
"YES!" Eloise and Thalia whisper-shouted as they stared at the man. He was young, in his twenties, and was very attractive with blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
"He is beautiful." Eloise couldn't tear her eyes from the man and Thalia caught Sirius watching her with a clenched jaw,
"Oh, wipe your dribble." he grumbled as he walked over to his desk. Eloise finally looked away from the man and smirked at her sulking boyfriend.
"See you on the other side." she smiled at Thalia and made her way over to her desk, kissing Sirius' cheek as she passed him on the way, earning herself a smile that he tried so desperately to hide - and failed.
"Come on. We need to at least sit the exam so you can fail it." James said to his girlfriend and followed in the direction of his sister. Thalia cast one more look to the very attractive examiner before moving towards the S section, smirking at James as he rolled his eyes.
"Don't judge me, he's beautiful." she shrugged,
"So am I, I never see you staring." he whispered over his shoulder after a sharp look from McGonagall,
"Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I'm slick." Thalia winked and James scoffed,
"Clearly." he nodded to the examiner,
"Potter! Scamander! Your desks, now."
"See you in an hour." Thalia reached her desk,
"Let's hope you make it that long." James smiled sarcastically as he sat down and Thalia shook her head with a smile,
