Adrien knew Lila was lying.

Heck, he was surprised he and Marinette were the only ones. Most of the stories she came up with were absolutely ridiculous. How could she have done all that, especially when she was in 'another country' most of the time?

Still, these lies weren't hurting anyone. So, he let it be.

Oh, how wrong he was.

"You should really do something," Plagg told him, peeking out of Adrien's bag. Adrien quickly ducked into the locker room. "Plagg, get back! Someone might see you!" Plagg ignored him. "A lie is still a bad thing. What if this spirals out of control?"

"You're the one preaching to me about lying?"

"You have to admit, I don't lie. There might be some things I don't tell you, but I don't lie."

"...I guess I have to give you that one." Adrien sighed. "But still, Lila's just trying to get attention. She's not going to kill anyone." With that said, he walked out of the locker room, and into class. Everyone there was surrounding Lila. The brunette was crying her eyes out, and her hair was messed up. Adrien frowned. "What's going on?"

"An akuma almost got me!" Lila wailed. "I was stressed about this homework assignment, and I just...I was worried I might not get it done in time..." Adrien patted her shoulder. He wasn't sure if she was lying or not, but still, and akuma was something to be taken seriously.

He sat down in his seat by Nino, and waited for class to start. Unbeknownst to him, Lila, in the back, was busy on her phone. Marinette's new condition would cause problems. Her plan to get her expelled wouldn't be easy. But, she had her ways.

Marinette strolled into the classroom, looking as bright as ever. Her lavender dress swayed at her calves. She had her hair in low pigtails this time, and looked...somber. Adrien sat up straighter, wondering what was wrong.

"Girl, how could you?" Alya demanded. Marinette just looked at her. "Yeah, HOW could I? How could I get her phone to begin with?" Adrien leaned closer to Nino. "What's happening?"

"Marinette went through Lila's phone." Adrien's eyes widened, and he checked his own phone. Sure enough, there was a text from Lila to everybody.

He stood up, and got the attention of the class. "How could Marinette do that? How could she get Lila's phone?"

"I saw her!" Lila cried. "She was in the locker room rooting through my bag."  Before they could get into it any further, Mrs. Bustier walked in, ending the chatter.

Adrien sat in his seat, wondering; why would Lila say this?

In the middle of class, Mrs. Bustier took out the answers to last night's homework in preparation to go over it, and cried out. It was scribbled on in every color imaginable. "What on earth?!"

Lila stood up immediately. "It was all my fault!" She wailed. The class turned to her, confused.

"Huh?"

"Lila did this?"

Adrien couldn't believe it. Lila was actually taking responsibility for her actions?

Lila continued. "I didn't want to tell you because, I was afraid you wouldn't believe me...I saw Marinette drawing on those. And, when I asked her why, she said she didn't want anyone to know how many she got wrong!" There were gasps all around. Adrien's eyes widened.

What was Lila up to?

Marinette was in the principal's office for a while. Adrien, along with Chloe and Sabrina, who had never really believed Lila, sat with him at lunch, waiting for her. She came by, eventually, looking really upset.
