The days had gone by and there was little to nothing that Gerion could do, except for going to the Godswood from 5 to 5 days talking to Arnold, he discovered almost everything that had to do with his maternal grandfather and grandmother, he also discovered a bit about the childhood of his mother and his aunt Arya and his uncle Jon. He had almost been caught once, still he managed to get away. Still, Gerion tried not to think much about what he had found out for it was very confusing and the idea of Starks and Lannisters being in an open war against each other did not settle well in his mind, all he could think was, But I'm a Stark and a Lannister, how can that be possible and me being here now?
Gerion and Marianne still exchanged letters, however he had comitted a mistake the last time. It had been too late when he had realized it, though. He had given the letter to the maestre and, when he had walked out of the room, he had realized, Shit! I wrote... 'love'... in the final sentence! Shit, shit, shit... what am I going to do now?! I can't get the letter back... Gods, help me.
By then, he was in pannick, he was in his room passing back and forth and he did not know what to do, he had recieved a letter from his cousin two hours ago and had still not gathered the courage to open it. He did not know what he was about to read, he did not know what she would say and it scared him more than anything. That was not the worst, though, the worst was that he did not even know why he had written that in the last letter, he did not know why he was acting like that by then. He simply felt like his heart was going to jump out of his chest. Please, tell me this is not what I think it is..., Gerion thought. Could he be in love with Marianne? Could that even happen? He never liked anyone, Jeyne had a crush on Thomas since she was old enough to know what love was, he was pretty sure that Rickon liked someone as well, he just did not know who. Although, his siblings liked someone, he never did. He did not know why, it just never happened. He knew that Marianne had had a situation with some boy at Casterly Rock, when she was 14. It had ended badly and he had broken her heart. Marianne had solved it, still what Marianne did not know was that him, Galladon and Jenny had the boy scared to death, shortly after. Jenny had the idea and wanted to keep it secret, so they agreed. No one messes with our family and gets away with it, Gerion thought, why am I remembering this now? Still, he had to find out what was in the damned letter, therefore he took the letter in his hands and opened it gently, then he started to read it,
Dear Ger,
I'm glad that there was no battle yet and I hope that there will not be one. What you said, it was a lot to take in, we'll have to talk better when we see each other again.
I wished that the situation in the Rock was as well as the one in there. At least, you'll fight when the battle comes. I'm dealing with treason, I don't know how to solve it yet. But I will. I don't care if I have to chopp off sone heads. I do not want to do that, though. I know that you probably don't want to read this, but I had to tell it to someone that, I think, will not judge me.
Then there's another thing. Aunt Genna came to the Rock. The Freys and the Arryns want to close the passage South, they have Riverrun and the Eryie thanks to some Jay Stone, he's a bastard from the Fingers. I'm sure Lya and your sister will defeat them. Still, be careful.
One last thing, I have to ask... why did you write 'love'? I have to know.
Love, Mary.
Gerion finished the letter and he did not know if he wanted to scream, to cry, to get help or to ride South. Why?! Why everyone chose to attack this year?! Why is this not easy?! Why the fuck did I write that word?! Wait, why the hells did she write it back?, Gerion thought. Gerion knew that he had to go get help, he knew that he had to tell his parents and his uncle. He knew that there was a war coming. He knew that Marianne would solve the situation on the Rock. And deep down, he knew why he had written that word. It would be so much easier if he did not know, though. He went to the window of his room and looked at Winterfell. It was his home, it would always be his home. Then suddenly he realized why Marianne said that she might have to chopp off heads, it was her home they were threatning. Not just her parents' lordship, it was their home. I wish I could be there to help her, to tell her that she can do anything. She will solve this. One way or another. Then, one day, after all of this, we'll be together and we'll talk about everything, Gerion thought, he was not sure of the latter one though. It could break their friendship, that was the last thing that he wanted. Everything was new to him, he was lost. Should he tell her? Was he even sure he liked her? What if she didn't feel the same way? What if she did? What would happen? When Gal and Jen told them they were together, it sounded easy. But, he was not Gal, he had always known he liked Jen, he only found out by then. And Mary was not Jen. She had known love and it had not ended up well. Maybe, she didn't want to go through it again.
"I will never hurt her, but...", Gerion thought out loud. Still, it was too confusing, he had to let it go, by then, he would think about it later.
After one or two seconds, Gerion went out of his room to the yard, he had to find his parents and his uncle. He had to tell them about the Freys and the Arryns. Before leaving the room, he said,
"Come on, boy. Don't leave me alone on this one." And the direwolf got up from the bed and went after him. Minutes later, they were in the yard. Gerion was going to the main tower, where he thought his parents were, for there had been having meetings all the time (he had done a break some time ago, after a lot of persuasion), when he saw four men entering Winterfell through the crypts. The secret passages, Gerion thought concerned. He did not know the men and was worried if they belonged to the army of the warlocks. He did not even think that there were only very few people who knew about the passages. Gerion went to them, the direwolf went with him, and asked very seriously,
"May I ask who are you and why are you coming from the passages?" As soon as, one of the men saw the direwolf he knew the young man was a Stark, he had seen enough of the bonds between Starks and direwolves to know that. When the same man who apparently was the leader was about to answer (he did not seemed angry or worried about what Gerion had asked and that made Gerion even more confused) they heard,
"Giantsbane?" It were his father and uncle. Tormund Giantsbane? I don't get one today, do I?, Gerion thought fustrated.
"Lannisters. Long time no see." Tormund said.
"Please, tell me they find you." Jaime asked as he and Tyrion headed fast to where they were.
"They did." Tormund said and Jaime and Tyrion sighed in relief. Then they all greeted each other with a hug.
"Seems we're all in Winterfell again." Tyrion said.
"This time it's warlocks." Jaime said and after that Gerion finally found his words,
"Uh, I'm sorry I said that. I did not know who you were."
"It's alright." Tormund said.
"Gerion, this is Tormund Giantsbane. He is the King of the Free Folk." Tyrion said.
"Don't say those things or everyone is going to start to call me 'Your Grace', like Jon did." Tormund said with a chuckle and they chuckled.
"Well, it's nice to meet you." Gerion said.
"You too." Tormund said.
"Come on, Sansa is in the High Hall. She'll want to know you're here. Maybe we still have a chance." Tyrion said.
"And I have something to tell you. It will complicate things." Gerion said sadly.
Then they all went to the High Hall and when they entered, Sansa turned and said,
"Tormund?"
"Hello, Sansa. Guess, I return' South, after all." Tormund said.
"How many times did Jon tell you this is the North?" Sansa said and he chuckled and then she gave him a hug.
"So they found you after all?" Sansa asked after the hug.
"They did. And they said you all are in trouble." Tormund said.
"We are trapped here, that's bad. But the camp's worst." Jaime said.
"We saw the army. Who is fighting in the camp?" Tormund asked.
"Jon and Grey Worm arrived about one month ago. Brienne, Pod, Joanna and Daenerys are there. Jon, Grey Worm, Brienne and Pod are comanding the armies." Jaime answered.
"Rickon is there and so is Brandon, he's Arya's and Grendry's son." Tyrion said.
"Where's Arya and Gendry? Why is Joanna not comanding the army? What about Clegane?" Tormund asked a bit confused.
"Arya and Gendry were taken prisioners in Pyke, but their other son, Eddard, and Joan are engaged in their rescue mission. Clegane is in the Rock. And Joanna is, well, she's dying. At least, that's what she thinks." Sansa said looking down.
"Their kids. They don't know, do they?" Tormund asked.
"Only Mary. She's in Casterly Rock." Jaime said. I wish I could be there for her, Gerion thought.
"Their eldest daughter, Jenny. She knows something is going on. It could be seen in her face." Tormund said. We knew. Me, Mary, Gal and Jen, we knew, Gerion thought.
"And the twins?" Sansa asked worried.
"No. I don't think they know. Where are the other kids?" Tormund said.
"Lyanna, Jon's and Daenerys's eldest daughter, is in KingsLanding. Jeyne is there too." Tyrion said.
"At least, it's calm there." Jaime said.
"Uh... I don't think so..." Gerion said worried.
"Why?" Sansa asked confused and worried.
"Well, Mary sent me a letter. Aunt Genna went to the Rock.-" Gerion was saying.
"Aunt Genna? Why?" Tyrion and Jaime asked.
"The Freys and the Arryns, they made an alliance. They want to the close the passage South. They have Riverrun-" Gerion was saying.
"There's only one way into Riverrun." Jaime said.
"No. There are two ways. My uncle is an idiot. You know that better than anyone." Sansa said.
"Right. I forgot about Edmure Tully." Jaime said.
"They have the Eryie, thanks to some bastard named Jay Stone, he's from the Fingers." Gerion said.
"Littlefinger. That man was incredibly anoying, now I know why Varys hated him." Tyrion said.
"Littlefinger is dead! It can't be!" Sansa said serious and angerly. Gerion had never seen his mother like that, he was worried. What happened?, Gerion thought.
"Sansa, he's dead. It's just a bastard. He can't get here." Tyrion said calmly. Sansa looked at him and then at her son, she could not let Littlefinger's bastard get to him or any of her children.
"I know. You're right." Sansa said.
"It's about vengence. Mary said it." Gerion said.
"It was supposed to be us doing that to them, not the other way around." Sansa said lowly.
"It'll be alright, love." Tyrion said and then Jaime nodded for them to leave. He knew that they had to talk alone, it was not something that Gerion needed to hear at the monent. They also knew that so they left. Gerion got worried, however Jaime put a hand on his shoulder and nodded that everything would be alright.
"If they close the passage, then the others would be trapped." Jaime said.
"We have to get to them, then." Tormund said.
"How do we do that?" Gerion asked, it was impossible, they could not leave the castle.
"The other kids went to find Jon's little girl, right? When they found her, they'll destroy that place." Tormund said.
"Then they'll have to attack us, to get advantage. How many men did you bring?" Jaime said.
"A hundred. How many men do you have?" Tormund said.
"A thousand." Jaime said.
"Is it enough?" Gerion asked concerned.
"It may be or it may not. But, we have to try. First, we'll have to wait. When was the last time you saw them?" Jaime asked Tormund.
"Three months ago. In the East-Watch, they're going to the Free Cities." Tormund said.
"They'll have to stop in Braavos. They must be there or in their way to Meereen." Gerion said.
"Only after that they'll get to Qarth. Who was comanding the ship?" Jaime asked.
"They didn't want commanders. I think your son and your daughter and Arya's and Gendry's daughter are the commanders." Tormund said.
"Clever. At least, that way, they'll be safe. Gal, Cat and Mia can manage, they spent a lot of time in the sea. The worst is going to be in Qarth. Tyrion has been reading and the warlocks have to let them in, there's no other way. I doubt that they'll let them all in." Jaime said.
"They'll find a way. They have to." Gerion said seriously. No one is going to get behind, Gerion thought.
"They are smart and they are brave. They're every bit your sons and daughters, they'll make it." Tormund said surely.
"I hope you're right." Jaime said and the meeting was over.
Gerion went to find his parents, he was worried. What happened? Why did they leave? They never do that. It does not make sense. Something must have happened. Something bad, Gerion thought, while going to his parents' room. He knew they were there. However, when he got there. He heard them talking. He did not enter, just stood there listening.
"Littlefinger is dead. How can this be happening? Arya killed him. Joanna can't know, not right now." Sansa said worried. Who the hells is Littlefinger? Why did my aunt killed him?, Gerion thought.
"He's a bastard. He has the Eryie, alright, but he can't get North. They'll find a way to stop him in KingsLanding. Joanna is not going to do anything, they won't let her." Tyrion said trying to calm her down. They can stop her? Why would she do anything?, Gerion thought.
"Jon was a bastard too. I should have known, I should have." Sansa said. Why?, Gerion thought. He was more and more confused.
"This Jay Stone is not Jon Snow. And you had no way of knowing. Baelish was a liar with all teeth. He fooled everyone. I know what he did to you and I should have killed him for it. I'm glad Arya killed him. And you and her were amazing in doing that. Joanna was and is proud of you for it." Tyrion said. What the hells did Littlefinger do?, Gerion thought.
"I should have let Joanna killed him back at the Wall, that way he could have not gone back to the Eryie." Sansa said.
"Maybe. But that way, you wouldn't have Winterfell." Tyrion said. Battle of the Bastards, Gerion remembered what Arnold had told him about the last battle for Winterfell.
"He wants vegence for his father. And the Freys want vegence for what Arya did. Oh, gods, Tyrion, Jeyne is in KingsLanding. What if they attack KingsLanding? We can't let them do that. Jeyne is in the Capital, Rickon is in camp. Gerion is the only one safe, but for how long?" Sansa said in pannick. We'll be fine, mother. We can take care of ourselves, Gerion thought.
"Sansa, listen to me. Nothing will happen to our children. Nothing. I promise. I will not let Littlefinger's damned bastard get to anyone of them. Did you hear me? Baelish and the Freys already hurted your family too much, my biggest regret was that who gave the order was my father in the latter. Arya killed almost all of the Freys, she and you killed Littlefinger. Robin Arryn is a 28 year-old kid. I'm not letting any of them hurt my family." Tyrion said seriously and determined. Starks agains Lannisters turned into Starks and Lannisters, Gerion thought. He wondered what could have changed.
"How can we do that? I thought that last time I had things in my control, but I hadn't." Sansa said.
"You're a Queen. You're a Stark of Winterfell. You're a She-wolf, like your mother. If there was anything I learnt from my sister and your mother was that Cersei Lannister and Catelyn Stark would do anything to protect their children. You'll do the same, you learnt from the bests. I'll do everything I can, even if I have to ride to battle again." Tyrion said assuring her. Please, don't, Gerion thought. He knew his father was a great strategist and that he could manage in battle, still last time, he almost died, he did not want that to happen.
"Don't do that. Last time, if it wasn't for Pod, you'd be dead. Please, do not go to battle. It worked in the Long Night." Sansa said seriously, but also a bit amused and he chuckled.
"I won't. Only if I have to and, believe me, I'm capable of anything for my family." Tyrion said.
"I know, love. You're right. I'm a Queen and you are a King. We'll be fine and we'll protect our children." Sansa said determined. And Gerion smiled. Then, he went away, he did not want to ruin the moment and everything was alright, besides he had to think about what he would write back to Marianne.
Gerion got to his room and closed the door. He went to his desk in order to write the letter. He write the first line, Dear Mary... Then his mind went blank. There was nothing he could think of to write, except the one phrase that he was sure that would be the death of his heart if he wrote it.
"I can't do this. I can't." Gerion said out loud to himself. But if I don't write her back then she'll think that something is wrong. But if I do, then everything will change, Gerion thought worried. His heart was pounding in his chest.
Then suddenly, he heard a knock on the door. He could not talk right then, he had to focus.
"I'm a little bit busy right now, if you could come later, I'd apreciate it." Gerion said, it worked with every one of the castle staff.
"That didn't work when you were a child and it still doesn't work now. Open the door, son." Tyrion said behind the door. Why?! Wait, maybe talking to someone will help, Gerion thought. Then he opened the door and let his father in.
"Your aunt thaught you that, didn't she?" His father asked with a chuckle.
"She did. It works with the castle staff." Gerion said with a chuckle.
"So it did for her. It worked with everyone, except me." Tyrion explained.
"I did not know that. What is it? Did something happen?" Gerion asked concerned.
"Nothing happened. I just want to make sure you are alright. I know you were listening at the door earlier." Tyrion asked concerned.
"I'm alright, a bit confused, perhaps. How do you know I did that?" Gerion asked surpised.
"Because you're my son and I know you. And your uncle saw you. You know, it's extremely hard for us to have serious conversations when all of you are always listen at the doors. But, we don't blame you, we did the same when we were children." Tyrion said and Gerion chuckled.
"I knew it." Gerion said with a chuckle and his father laughed.
"Ask the million questions you have on your mind." Tyrion said, there was no point in hiding, both him and Sansa knew it, it would be worst if they did.
"Really, father? Will you tell me?" Gerion asked surprised.
"I will. You're old enough to know and there's no point in hiding it anymore." Tyrion said softly.
"Alright, thank you. Why did mother get that way?" Gerion asked seriously.
"Well, Jay Stone is the son of Petyr Baelish, also known as Littlefinger. He was a liar, a great liar. He fooled everyone. He tricked your grandfather, Eddard Stark, and with that he was killed by Joffrey, he was just a kid, but he did not have any honor. Baelish started the War of the Five Kings. No one knew what he was up to. He turned Lysa Arryn, Robin's mother, against her sister, Catelyn Stark, your grandmother. And he tried to do the same with your mother and your aunt Arya. It did not work out for him. When Joffrey died by poison at his wedding, I was acused of murdering him and taking into a dungeon-" Tyrion was saying.
"What?!" Gerion said in shocked.
"I didn't do it, Ger. I promise it wasn't me." Tyrion said right away, he could not bear that his son thought he had killed his nephew.
"I've never thought it was you. Who was it? Why did they blame you?" Gerion asked confused.
"Apparently, it was Olenna Tyrell. With the help of Littlefinger. I was blamed by accident and because of my eldest sister Cersei. Anyway, Littlefinger helped your mother escaping from KingsLanding-" Tyrion was saying.
"But weren't you and mother already married?" Gerion asked confused.
"We were. But we didn't marry for love. We married because my father made me. She had been promised to Joffrey.-" Tyrion was saying.
"What?! But Joffrey was a monster." Gerion said in shock.
"Her father did not know that and when he found out, it was too late. Still, we did not love each other, she hated Lannisters, except for Joanna. She was 12, at the time. I had a lover, at the time. We did not want to marry and we didn't consumate the marriage. With time, I think, we started to realize that maybe the only good thing in that shit city and in that shit situation was that we had each other. After being apart several years, we figured out that we were right. Anyway, she escaped with him. And he took her to the Eryie, he was madly in love with her mother since he was a boy and your mother looks a lot like your grandmother, so he started to want her. She realized that. Then he killed her aunt and she had to make him think that she trusted him. The next thing he did was selling her to Ramsay Bolton. He was a monster, even worst than Joffrey. Your mother suffered a lot, because of him. I didn't know, I had to escape to Essos. But your aunt Joanna, your aunt Brienne and your uncle Pod, they went to find her and your aunt Arya as well. They managed to save your mother from the Boltons with the help of Theon Greyjoy. However, your mother needed the Knights of the Vale to take back Winterfell from the Boltons. So they had to ally with Littlefinger again. Your aunt Joanna wanted to kill him since she found out that it had been him who had started the war. After that, he tried to turn your mother against your aunt Arya and they had him judged and killed." Tyrion explained his son.
"And the Freys? What were you saying that grandfather gave the order to?" Gerion asked.
"Many years before you were born, there was a rebelion, causing a conflict between Starks and Lannisters. It started with the death of King Robert and Eddard Stark. Well, my father was not a good man. He was clever and knew everything about war, still that did not make him good, it made him dangerous. Robb Stark, your uncle, was winning the war. So, my father allied with Walder Frey, because Robb had promised to marry a Frey girl, but had fell in love with another. Walder Frey was just a repulsive man and wanted revenge. He and my father allied with Roose Bolton, Ramsay's father, and they arranged the Red Wedding. Edmure Tully married a Frey girl in the place of your uncle and, in that wedding, after the groom and bride went away, the Rains of Castamere started to play and the Freys and the Boltons killed your uncle, his wife and their baby, as well as your grandmother and every Stark or Stark alies. The only one that escaped was the Blackfish. It was my father who gave the order. I did not know. Not me, not your uncle or your aunt. We did not know." Tyrion explained, feeling guilty, eventhough it was scarcely his fault.
"So my grandfather slaughtered my mother's house and my cousin killed my grandfather?" Gerion concluded a bit in shock.
"Yes..." Tyrion said looking down.
"You and aunt and uncle, you're nothing like your father. How-How did you deal with that? I mean, you are a good and..." Gerion said, it did not make sense.
"The Lannisters were a pretty messed up family. My father despised me all my childhood and wanted me dead more times than I can count, because of what I am. -" Tyrion was saying.
"But it's not your fault! You are a great man and you are a great father. I-" Gerion was saying, he was just outraged, how could that be? It was not fair.
"Gerion. It's alright, it was a long time ago. You don't know how happy I am for hearing you saying that." Tyrion said.
"Well, it's true." Gerion said honestly.
"Anyway. We're a pretty hot mess. My mother died few months after Joanna was born. My eldest sister became mad. My brother was a Kingsguard and he was in love with someone that did not love him the way he loved her. And my youngest sister, well, she was locked in Casterly Rock. And when she came to KingsLanding, it was difficult. My nephew was a monster. I had to send my niece away. And my youngest nephew was just a child in the middle of all of that. A lot of shit happened back then. After the trial for mudered, I fled. But before that, please do not judge me for it and I know that I shouldn't have done it, I still don't know why I did it, I went to find my father. And I found my lover in his bed. I lost it and I killed him. Then I fled. It was the worst thing I've ever done and I still do not forgive myself sometimes." Tyrion explained looking down. There was sillence for a moment, but when Gerion understood it fully, he said,
"That must have been awful. I'm sorry. You and mother once told me that your childhoods were nothing like ours, but... I've never thought they were this bad."
"Yeah, but what we've been through is what makes us who we are today. And me and your mother grew stronger. As well as all of our family." Tyrion said smiling. Gerion went to his father and gave him a hug.
"Now I know why none of you talks about it. Thank you for telling me." Gerion said.
"It's alright. We should have told you long ago. But we were afraid of your reaction." Tyrion said after the hug.
"I want you to know that you are a great father and that I would not be the man I am today without you and mother." Gerion said honestly.
"Thank you. That really means a lot to us." Tyrion said smiling and Gerion smiled.
"Father. Can I talk to you about something?" Gerion asked looking down.
"You can talk to me about everything." Tyrion said a bit confused.
"Well, I'm having a dilema. I don't know what to do." Gerion said.
"Alright, start from the begining." Tyrion said.
"I wrote a letter to Mary, a few days ago and I made a mistake." Gerion said.
"What did you do?" Tyrion said with a curious tone.
"I was writing so fast that, in the last line, I wrote... 'love'. Instead of other word." Gerion said concerned.
"Well... you know what that means, right?" Tyrion asked a bit amused.
"I think so. But... I don't know if... that's good or bad." Gerion said honestly.
"Ger, if you love someone that loves you, then it will always be good. Sometimes, it may hurt, but it will all be alright." Tyrion said.
"How do I know if I really do like her?" Gerion asked.
"When you think about her, what happens?" Tyrion asked softly.
"My heart starts to beat faster, I have a tickle all over my body and I'm happy. Gods, I really like her. I've never liked anyone before, father. What do I do?" Gerion asked worried and Tyrion chuckled.
"Love is beyond our control. You do what your heart tells you to do. Did she answer the letter?" Tyrion asked.
"She did. And she asked me why, she said she had to know. But she wrote the same." Gerion answered.
"Then tell her." Tyrion said.
"What if she doesn't like me back? She's my best friend, it'll be awkward." Gerion asked.
"I don't know if she likes you or not, but I think she does. And if it gets awkward, it'll pass. How do you think her parents' story started?" Tyrion said.
"Really?" Gerion asked.
"I was running out of my patience with the two of them." Tyrion said with a chukle and Gerion laughed.
"But, we're first cousins. Will it be alright?" Gerion asked.
"Gal and Jen are first cousins as well, your grandfather and your grandmother were first cousins. There's no problem in that." Tyrion said. And your uncle slept with your aunt, so... no problem at all, Tyrion thought sarcasticaly.
"Oh, alright. Thank you, father. Just one more thing. Mary suffered the last time she's been in love. What if she doesn't want more of it? I'm not going to hurt her, but..." Gerion asked.
"Mary is like her mother in what concerns that, she's going to get over it." Tyrion said and Gerion smiled. After some more time talking, his father went away and Gerion finally wrote the letter and sent it.
Later that night, Tyrion and Sansa were talking.
"Did you tell him?" Sansa asked.
"Almost all of it." Tyrion said.
"What did you leave out?" Sansa asked.
"Most of what happened to Cersei and Jaime. And a great deal of what happen with Shae." Tyrion said.
"You told him you killed your father." Sansa deduced.
"I did." Tyrion said.
"What did he say?" Sansa asked.
"He understood. And he said we were great parents. My heart stopped when I heard that." Tyrion said smiling.
"He's right. You are a great father." Sansa said smiling.
"And you a great mother. It's weird, when you look back to everything that happened. How did we even become who we are? How can we do right by them if there was no one in our past that did that for us?" Tyrion said.
"We made the right choices. All of us." Sansa said.
"Yeah, I think you're right. Ah, there's another thing." Tyrion said with a chuckle.
"What?" Sansa asked.
"Gerion is in love." Tyrion said.
"With Mary. So... I already knew that since he was 14." Sansa said.
"I know. It's just that he's finally acting on it, it happened by accident, but it still counts." Tyrion said with a chuckle and then he told her everything.
Gerion was a bit confused about everything he had heard, still he was glad that his father had told him. Now we just have to wait, Gerion thought.
