After the kiss, they just looked at each other surprised and without words. How had that happened? Why? What were they supposed to do by then? No one knew, it was nice, unexpected, but nice.
"I-I'm sorry. I-I shouldn't have done that." James said looking down.
"Uh, I... I've got to go. I hope you don't go after the warlocks." Catelyn said and left in a hurry.
Great, James, now you've fucked up everything, James thought sadly. Still, he started to unpack because, despite everything, Catelyn and Galladon were right and he could not compromise their mission for some vengence, eventhough they deserved it.
After sometime there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." James said. He hoped that it was not Catelyn, because things would be awkward and he knew that none of them did well in those situations. Gladly, it was Thomas and he entered and closed the door.
"How are you?" Thomas asked.
"Jenny lost her memory. How are you?" James asked.
"I'm holding on. It's hard, but we have to. We promised." Thomas said.
"I know, I know. I'll do that. And if you need anything, just say." James said.
"Are sure you're alright? Because you seem like you've seen a ghost." Thomas asked concerned.
"I'm fine. It's just that I did something that I don't think I should have done." James said.
"What did you do?" Thomas asked confused.
"I... kissed Cat." James said.
"So that's why she left so quickly." Thomas said.
"You're not helping, Thomas." James said.
"Sorry. But it's going to be alright." Thomas said.
"I hope you're right." James said. Suddenly, he realized that maybe he should taken things more serious, maybe he should have delt with things in a normal way, by talking or practicing, not with jokes or vegences. Let's see if I can, James thought.
"I'm going to talk to Jen. Do you want to come?" Thomas asked and James nodded. They went to the other room.
Meanwhile, in the room that seemed to be a kitchen, Galladon was thinking, he wanted to go talk to Jenny, but he was afraid that he might say something wrong and the fact that she did not know a single thing about what they had had until then made him feel like everything was going down. He knew that he had to keep it together for everyone else, especially the twins, still it was so hard.
"Hey, lad." He heard his great-uncle saying.
"Uncle Gery?" Galladon said.
"Are you alright?" Gerion asked.
"More or less." Galladon answered.
"You and Jenny are not just cousins, are you?" Gerion asked softly.
"Not exactly. We're more than that." Galladon answered looking down.
"I see. Have you already talked to her?" Gerion asked.
"Not yet. But Cat said that she had told her that already." Galladon said.
"Why don't you go talk to her?" Gerion asked.
"Because I can't." Galladon said looking down. I can't face it, Galladon thought.
"Why, Gal? It might help." Jorah said entering the room.
"Because she doesn't remember me. And with memories or not, Jenny is still Jenny and she doesn't deal well with this kind of things." Galladon said. And I don't want to hear that, Galladon thought. He knew that he should go talk to her, still he could not bear it.
"Mia, Rhaella and I told her what was going on, why we were here and all of that." Jorah said.
"Thank you." Galladon said.
"Why don't you go talk to her as her best friend? Not as you two were when you were together." Gerion asked.
"Exactly. But not now Thomas and James are talking to her." Jorah said.
"I'll think about it." Galladon said.
"Where's Cat and Durran?" Jorah asked.
"They went to get something to eat." Gallladon said.
"Why can Cat go and we can't?" Jorah asked.
"Because with Cat, I know that she won't go kill the warlocks. With you, I don't. And, Jorah, you're going to be King someday. Your dragon is out there. We have to get to Westeros. You have a duty to your people. You should know better than to want to do something like that." Galladon said.
"You're right. I'm sorry. I should have spoken against it. As soon as Kingly comes back, I'll tell you." Jorah said. He knew he was right and that he had to do that.
"Thank you." Galladon said.
In the room where Jenny was, James, Thomas and her were talking.
"Hey." Thomas and James said.
"Hey." Jenny said.
"I know you don't remember us, but we're your brothers. I'm Thomas and he's James." Thomas said.
"Catelyn told me." Jenny said.
"Right. Uh, do you have any question?" James asked, as he sat in a chair and Thomas on the other.
"I don't know. But maybe if you tell me about our childhood or our parents or sister, it will help." Jenny said.
"Alright. You're three years older than us and one year older than Mary. Mother and father are knights and they're pretty strong, we don't know much about their childhoods or the battles they fought in, but..." Thomas said.
"But it were difficult battles and they went through them, so that means that they can do everything. Our family is a family of warriors, our parents, our uncles and aunts. They went through a lot, we know that, but they're here. We are really proud of being their family." James said and Thomas looked at him surprised, so did Jenny.
"Alright, alright. Whatever, I was feeling epic." James said with a chuckle.
"That's really sweet." Jenny said.
"He's full of surprises. Well, we spent most of our childhood at the Rock, our parents are the lords of the Westerlands, but we also went often to KingsLanding, because mother is Master of War in the Small Council (due to that it's father who takes care of most of the matters in the Westerlands) and from two to two years there's a meeting with everyone, we went to Winterfell a lot, because uncle Tyrion and aunt Sansa and our cousins are there (they rule the North), and we went a few times to Storm's End too. But where I think we went more, because of the meetings and it's not very far and it's not in a different Kingdom and all of that, it's Tarth. Despite mother and aunt Brienne being at the Small Council, we spent much time there, because well, Mary and Jo got along very well, me and Jo are best friends, so are James and Cat. And you and Gal are the eldests and you're very close. It's you, Gal, Mary and Ger, he's our cousin, you four are inseparable." Thomas explained.
"That's... nice. I think." Jenny said.
"Look, I know you can't remember and I know you're trying really hard to, because it's who you are, Jen. But we are here for you. You were always there for us and now we are here, we're not going anywhere." James said serious and softly.
"Thank you. It really means a lot to me." Jenny said smiling and they smiled. "So what about mother, father and Mary? How are they? What do they look like?"
"Mary has brown hair and light brown eyes, like mother's. She's a lady, but she knows how to use the sword and the bow and arrow. She reads a lot, like Thomas. You read too, just not as much as them. Me, on the other hand, I don't read at all. You and Mary are very close and you know everything about each other. She was the first to know you liked Gal and that you two were together." James explained and Jenny nodded, trying to cope with it. It felt weird, though, everyone talked about how she and Galladon were very close and all of that, still she had not talked to him yet.
"As of father and mother. Well, mother has blond hair and light brown eyes and father has black hair and brown eyes, you have his eyes, at least that's what mother says. They're great fighters and all theirs lifes they wanted to be knights and they managed to achieve that. They're always there for us. Mother always tells us stories and father sometimes sings for us. He also thaught us swordfighting, although you and mother helped too. I know this, because you told me once, you look up to them. Both of them. And you admire that, besides what happened, they still are who they are and that never changes. I admire it too." Thomas explained.
"That sounds wonderful." Jenny said.
"It is. Let's see. More things. Oh, your name is Jenny, because of a song called Jenny of Oldstones. It's mother's favourite and father sings that song amazingly. You love to hear him singing that song. You always smile when you hear that. Uh, Thomas and you can sing very well too. Although, you only sing at home. You like to draw, like mother." James said.
"I think this covers it pretty much." Thomas said.
"That's great, thank you." Jenny said smiling. "Uh, I'm sorry, I know this must not be easy for you, but I think I need some time alone. To cope with all of this."
"Of course, no problem." James said and then he and Thomas left.
Outside, Thomas asked James,
"So what do you think?"
"I think that she needs time." James said.
"You've changed." Thomas said.
"What if I did?" James asked.
"You're my brother. I'm with you for the best and the worst, but I'm glad you're taking things more serious." Thomas said honestly.
"Me too." James said and Thomas gave him a hug. After the hug, they saw that Catelyn and Durran had come back. Thomas went away and James looked at Catelyn and she looked at him and then she just went away. This is going to take a lot of time to go back to normal. Great..., James thought sadly.
"She'll come around." James heard Galladon said.
"What? You know what happened?" James asked confused.
"It might seem a little bit weird, but she tells me a great deal of things." Galladon said.
"And you're alright with it?" James asked.
"You're alright with me being with Jen. Besides, the day I'll tell Cat how to live her life is the day she tells me to fuck off." Galladon said.
"I screwed up, didn't I?" James asked.
"No, you didn't. You two were the only ones who did not see what was happening." Galladon said.
"I'm sorry for planing to go after the warlocks after you say no." James said.
"It's alright. It crossed my mind once or twice too. I'm glad you're taking things more serious." Galladon said.
"I learnt from the best." James said and Galladon smiled.
"You really think she'll talk to me again?" James asked.
"She's dealing with a lot right now, the same as you are, but she will in time. At least, me and Jen could get through it..." Galladon said.
"Look, if you want to talk about what is happening, I'm here." James said.
"Thanks. It means a lot. But... I don't think I can talk about it." Galladon said.
"I understand that. But, Gal, go talk to her." James said.
That night James went to sleep, feeling that he was doing the right thing, that he finally was becoming who he really was. It was a strange sensation, but it also felt good. I'm growing up, James thought amused. He still did not know why he had kissed Catelyn, he knew he had feelings for her, still he wanted to figure it out with her, not alone. It was not fair, for her or for him. Sometimes, he wished he had not kissed her, still he knew that it would end up happening eventually.
Meanwhile, Thomas was walking through the house, because he could not sleep, when he saw the door of the room where Jenny was was opened. He went near and saw that Galladon was there sitting in a chair.
"You know that if she sees you here when she wakes up, she's going to freak out, right?" Thomas said.
"I know. But I can't leave her alone." Galladon said.
"I know. Good luck." Thomas said.
"Thank you." Galladon said and Thomas went away.
Some time passed by, Galladon was almost asleep, when he heard something, he woke up at once, and then he saw that Jenny was agitated. He went to her and heard her saying,
"No! This is not real!"
"Jenny, it's alright." Galladon said, taking her hand.
"It can't be real!" Jenny said, still asleep.
"Jen, wake up. It's just a nightmare." Galladon said, shaking her a bit. Finally, she woke up from the nightmare. He stepped away as soon as she opened her eyes, he did not want to scare her.
"I'm sorry, but you were having a nightmare." Galladon said.
"It's alright. Thank you..." Jenny said.
"You're welcome. Well, I'm gonna go..." Galladon said and he was going away, when Jenny said,
"Would you... would you mind staying?" Jenny asked.
"Do you want me to stay?" Galladon asked confused.
"You're the only one I haven't talk to yet." Jenny said. Galladon sighed, closed the door and went to sit back at the chair.
"I'm sorry about that." Galladon said.
"You don't need to apologize. I just want to know why. Everyone says that we're very close and all of that... that we... were... together... But..." Jenny said.
"Jenny. I know that I should've come talk to you, but... I couldn't. Because, memories or not, you're still you and I know that you don't deal well with this kind of things. And, honestly, I find it very difficult when things are awkward between us." Galladon said.
"Well, you're not wrong... I admit that when Catelyn told me about it, I-" Jenny was saying.
"Don't. Please, don't say it." Galladon said looking at her. She looked at him and then she looked away.
"Look, I'm sorry, but I really don't remember you." Jenny said.
"Well... I can tell you everything you want to know. It's just, I know this is selfish, but it hurts me too. I know it's not your fault, it's the warlocks' fault. It just sucks." Galladon said.
"I understand..." Jenny said.
"So what do you want to know?" Galladon asked.
"Well, how did it happen?" Jenny asked.
"We've always been best friends, since we were kids. We played together, talked, practiced and did all crazy stuff. We grew up together, basically. We are the eldest. Your 18th nameday was four days ago, I'm going to be 18 next week. We always felt that we had to take care of the younger. When we turned 14, things started to get really weird. We realized we liked each other. The next year was half awkward sillence and half flirting and pinning. Then finally we admited it and we've been together ever since." Galladon explained and she smiled.
"It sounds great... I wish I could remember. Really I do." Jenny said honestly.
"But you don't." Galladon said.
"I don't. You seem like a really nice guy and you're handsome and I know we're cousins. Any woman would be lucky to have you, but I don't remember you or what we had... and I don't feel that way about you. So, until I get my memories back, I can't think about you like that, nor do I want to think about it at all. I'm sorry." Jenny said calm and honestly.
"I understand... What can I do to help you get your memories back?" Galladon asked.
"You told me almost everything, so did they. And I can't remember a single damn thing. So... I think, it's a matter of time." Jenny said looking at him. And he looked down and then he had an idea, it was too risky and it might end up ruining everything, but he was desperate and he could not take anymore of it. So, he looked at her and said,
"What if I do this..." Then he went to her and kissed her. Jenny was shocked, she pulled away at once, and slapped him. Alright, that hurt, Galladon thought sadly, stepping away from her quickly, and by then he knew that he had screw up everything.
"You don't get to kiss me without my premission!" Jenny said, angry.
"I had your premission!" Galladon snapped. He could not control it anymore.
"Had! Past!" Jenny said and at that James entered the room, he had heard them fighting and had gotten worried,
"What is going on here?"
"Nothing." Galladon said and left, he was afraid he would say something he would regret even more.
"He kissed me." Jenny said, angry. What is the problem with this city and kissing?, James thought, but he understood why his cousin had done that.
"Uh, it's... complicated for everyone. I know that it's worst for you. But it won't happen again, I promise. Gal may be a lot of things, but he's not one of those guys. He just loves you very much and he's desperate." James tried to explained.
"Well, he can leave that alone, because if there was any chance, now there's none." Jenny said seriously.
"Alright, I understand. For now, come and eat something." James said and Jenny went with him to the kitchen alike room where everyone was eating. Everyone was there, except Galladon.
Once James left Jenny with Thomas, he went to where Catelyn was, she was going away, but he grabbed her hand and whispered,
"Cat, I know you probably don't want to talk to me right now but you need to go find your brother. They fought and it was bad. Go find him, please. He needs you."
"I will. Thank you for telling me, James." Catelyn whispered back and went to find her brother.
After searching almost the whole house, Catelyn found her brother in one of the rooms, he was sitting in the bed, just looking down.
"Hey, can I come in?" Catelyn asked at the door.
"Sure." Galladon said lowly and Catelyn closed the door and went to sit next her brother.
"Do you want to tell me what happened?" Catelyn asked concerned.
"I could not leave the room, so I stayed there sleeping in one of the chairs, I couldn't sleep all night, when I was finally starting to fall asleep... she had a nightmare. I had to snap her out of it. I was going to go away, but she asked me to stay. I did, we talked, I told her almost everything that had happened between us. But she couldn't remember, and she said that... she doesn't feel that way anymore. Without her memories, she doesn't want to think about me that way or about it at all. I asked what I could do and she said that it was a matter of time. So, I thought I had nothing to loose and I was - still am - desperate, so... I kissed her... And she gave me a slap. We fought... And it was my fault." Galladon explained.
"I'm so sorry, brother. I know you love her. It's going to get better, you'll see." Catelyn said giving him a hug.
"It's not, Cat. I lost her. This time I lost her forever." Galladon said.
"Come on, Gal. It's you and Jen, it can't end up like this." Catelyn said.
"It did. I'll stay away." Galladon said.
"What? No, you're the eldest." Catelyn said.
"No, she is. And I'm pretty sure, she doesn't want me near." Galladon said.
"Don't say that." Catelyn said.
"It's the truth. I can't believe we finally told our parents and this is how it's going to end. One year, hiding, for nothing..." Galladon said.
"She got really mad at you, didn't she?" Catelyn asked.
"She did. I knew it was all or nothing, but I couldn't take it anymore. She said that I didn't get to kiss her without her premission, and she is right, because she has no fucking idea of who I am, but I snapped. I said that I had her premission and... she said that it was all in the past." Galladon said, by then he was trying really hard not to cry. Catelyn just hold him and said,
"It's going to be alright." The tears started to fall by then. After sometime passed, so did the wave of sadness.
"Go see how they are. I'll be fine. If you need anything, call me. And if they are any news about the dragons, call me as well. Besides, see if Jenny can still fight, we have to get out of here as soon as the dragons arrive." Galladon said.
"You're really not coming with me?" Catelyn said.
"I'm sorry, Cat. But it's better this way. For today, at least." Galladon said and she nodded and went away.
Catelyn did not know what to think, everything was a mess around her, her big brother, who she thought could keep it together more than anyone, was desvastated, and all she could think about was the kiss that she had with James. She had to solve that, in order to be able to solve everything else. She could not avoid him anymore, so she went to find him.
Catelyn found James and Thomas with Jenny. This is so awkward, Catelyn thought. Still, she went to them and asked,
"Hey. Uh, James, can I talk to you?"
"Sure. Let's go." James said and he and Catelyn went to the other room that was empty.
They entered and closed the door.
"James. Before I say anything, I'm sorry for running away the other day." Catelyn said.
"It's alright. I'm sorry if I went too far." James said.
"You didn't. I was just not ready." Catelyn said.
"You didn't get mad at me?" James asked confused.
"No. I was confused with everything that was happening and all of that. But, you coming to talk to me today because of my brother and the way you are handling things, it only showed me that you mean a lot to me and not just because you're my family. As of the kiss, it was good." Catelyn said blushing.
"It was. Cat, you're there for me everytime, if it weren't for you I would have given up hope by now." James said smiling.
"I've never thought I would fall in love, but... I did without even realizing it... For my best friend." Catelyn said.
"Yeah, me too. I would like to figure it out what it is like with you. If you want to." James said.
"I would like that very much." Catelyn said smilling and he smiled. Then she went to him and kissed him. After the kiss, he looked at her and said,
"I love you, Cat." I always have, I think, James thought.
"I love you too, James. I'm glad you become the man you always were." Catelyn said.
"I thought no one would say that." James said smiling.
"I know." Catelyn said smiling too. And he kissed her again. After the kiss, James asked,
"How is Gal?"
"I've never seen him like that. He's staying in the room for the rest of the day. And he says that he'll stay away." Catelyn explained.
"What? But he is the eldest." James said.
"So is Jenny. And they aren't at speaking terms right now." Catelyn said.
"Right. Those two will never be who they were before." James said sadly.
"Jenny doesn't remember anything of who he is or what they had and the kiss did not help. He knows that and he regrets it." Catelyn said.
"I heard them fighting." James said.
"Gal has my parents' tempers, both of them, which means that he can take and take and take, but he's going to blow up. It did not blow up in the right time." Catelyn explained.
"Jenny has my mother's temper, which means it probably will take sometime to go back to normal, if it goes back to normal." James said.
"You know, my mother once told us one thing and Gal always took that very seriously, we all did, but he tries to live by that. That is why he's been so down lately, even not showing it." Catelyn said.
"What did your mother tell you?" James asked a bit afraid of the answer.
"'There's nothing more hateful than failling to protect the one you love'." Catelyn said.
"He feels guilty for what happened?" James asked.
"More than you know." Catelyn said.
"I suspected it, but not like this." James said.
"I know. They don't deserve this." Catelyn said.
"No, they don't." James said. When the time comes, we really are going to make them pay for what they did to them, James thought. James had never seen Jenny so happy as when they were beyond the Wall and in the all journey, she was happy for not having to hide it anymore and by then everything was crumbling down.
Later that day, Jorah and Rhaella had finally news about the dragons. They were seen coming around the city, which meant they could get to the ship and go home. Shortly before that, James and Thomas got room in the common room to figure out if Jenny still knew how to fight at least. James got two swords and then he asked,
"Do you think you know how to fight, sis?"
"I think not, but let's see." Jenny said and James threw one sword at her and she caught it instantly.
"You still got some reflexes at least." Thomas said.
"Can I?" James asked and Jenny nodded. Then he stroke, she could stop the strike like it was nothing. They got surprised. Although, Thomas thought, It's in her blood. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, after all.
"I didn't know I knew how to do that." Jenny said smiling.
"Well, you're pretty good. I think no one ever beat you. Without counting the adults." James said.
"That's awsome." Jenny said smiling.
"Let me try." Thomas said and James nodded and gave him the sword.
"Ladies first." Thomas said.
"Don't call me that." Jenny said.
"Then start the fight." Thomas said and she stroke and they fought and at the end it was a tie.
"Alright, you clearly still know how to fight." James said. Then Jorah came to them.
"We saw the dragons." Jorah said.
"That's great." James said.
"I'm going to give the news." Thomas said and he gave James the sword and went to find Galladon, he had to tell him, so they could go home.
After sometime, Thomas knocked at the door of the room and he heard his cousin saying,
"Come in." So he did and closed the door.
"Hey. I have something to tell you." Thomas said.
"Hey. Look, if it is because of what happened, I'm sorry. I should never have done that. It was awful, I went too far and you and James have every right to-" Galladon was saying.
"No, it's not because of that. Me and James don't hate you. We know you'd never hurt Jen intentionally. We know you're sorry, this is hard for everyone and we know you'll never do that again. Besides, we're family. In family you don't take sides." Thomas assured him.
"Thank you. I won't let you down, I promise." Galladon said.
"I know. Well, what I was going to say was that the dragons are back. We can go to the ship!" Thomas said.
"That's great. We can go home!... We can go home... and everyone will hate me." Galladon thought out loud.
"What do you mean?" Thomas asked worried.
"Jenny won't get her memories back anytime soon and what I did, it's... beyond awful. And everyone will think that... and I don't.... have any excuse for it, because there's none. My family is going to..." Galladon said.
"What? No. No, no one will hate you, Gal. Are you mad? You did that because you thought it would help. You're sorry for it, which tells them everything they need to know. Your - our - family is not going to hate you. In what world can that happen?" Thomas said looking at him.
"I... I don't know... but I... I'm afraid, Thomas. I lost Jen, I don't want to loose our family. I'll go away if it needs be, I just..." Galladon said and Thomas went to him and gave him a hug and said seirously,
"Listen to me, Galladon. You're not going to loose anyone. You have Cat and me and James and everyone in this house, everyone knows the truth. And even Jen, after a long time, will forgive you, I think. But you're not alone. Besides, you have your parents waiting for you, you have Jo waiting for you. We know enough to get to the conclusion that our family almost extinguished each other in the past, if they could get over it, we can get over this."
"You really think that?" Galladon asked after the hug.
"I don't think, I know it." Thomas said.
"Thank you... So much. I'm sorry I couldn't keep it together." Galladon said.
"It's alright. Everyone is allowed a break down from time to time, you told me that. And Thomas is right, no one will hate you, Gal. We couldn't get out of here if it wasn't for you. You keep us in check. And when we'll get home, we'll have your back." Jorah said entering the room.
"Thank you, both of you." Galladon said.
"Come on, you have to tell them something about the fight." Jorah said.
"Why me?" Galladon asked.
"Because you're the eldest. And, well, your father comanded an army, so did your mother. And me, Jorah and James want it to be you, because we owe you a lot." Thomas said.
"And everyone listens to you and not to us." Jorah said.
"Alright, let's go then." Galladon said and everyone went to the common room. There were some tension, still it needed to be done.
"Very well. We know the dragons are around, which means we can go to the ship. We probably will have to fight. Everyone will be careful, alright? It's risky and we have to do everything for everyone to get safely on board. We leave at dawn. And remember, the goal is the ship. As long as we're there, we'll be fine. Fight with everything you've got, like our family says fight with your heart and we'll win. We have people waiting for us at home, we have our parents at the camp fighting nonstop, we have to help them. Like aunt Dany said, we are the sons and daughters of the heroes of the Long Night, we'll be fine. It's in our blood." Galladon said and he went to the center of the room and held out his hand and looked at everyone and said,
"We're in this together." Everyone put their hands in his, the only one left was Jenny. She did not know what was going on and she was furious with him. Then James looked at her and said,
"You invented the words, Jen." She looked at him and, reluntacly, she joined her hand to the others. After that everyone said,
"We're in this together!"
The next day, at dawn, everyone was up, gathering in the common room. Let's do this, James thought. He knew everyone was thinking the same.
"You ready?" Jorah asked everyone and everyone nodded.
"For KingsLanding." Rhaella and Jorah said.
"For Storm's End." Mia said.
"For Casterly Rock." James and Thomas said.
"For Tarth." Catelyn and Galladon said.
"And for Winterfell. Ger, Jeyne, Rickon, uncle and aunt, they need us too." Galladon said and everyone nodded. Then they unsheathed their swords and left the house. Everyone was anxious and with maxime alert to dangers. They could get out of the house without being seen, they kept the route through small streets, hiding streets, for not drawing much attention to themselves.
However, they were walking through a street when they started to heard from everywhere, 'Harpy, Harpy', Rhaella instantly knew what it was.
"It's the golden masks, they're here." Rhaella said worried.
"Stay close." Galladon said. They were looking at everywhere and suddenly the Sons of the Harpy appeared from nowhere.
"Alright, guys. Let's give them hell!" Galladon said seriously and everyone started to fight. The numbers were against them, however their situation demanded it. They fought and fought, they were too many. It was too much.
"It's too much, we won't make it!" Mia said.
"I don't intend for us to die today, so shut up and fight, guys!" James said seriously. And they did, they fought with all they'd got, with all their hearts could take. Still, there were too many.
Jenny and Galladon were fighting near each other and Galladon was always trying to protect Rhaella, so was Jenny. Even without memories, Jenny knew that she had to protect her, all of them. However, in the middle of the confusion, some golden mask was going to stabb Rhaella and Galladon stood in front of her and the knife stabbed him instead, still he managed to kill the golden mask, but they were coming, he knew what he had to do.
"Rhaella, run to your brother! Now!" Galladon said, it hurted, still he kept fighting and it kept hurting over and over again, but he knew he couldn't give up.
"No! I'm not leaving you!" Rhaella said picking up a sword. Around them the fight was stoping and the Sons of the Harpy were fleeing.
"Just go! Jorah! Get them the fuck out of here!" Galladon said, at that everyone looked at him and despite him being fighting, there was one that he couldn't stop and he stabbed him deeply and he fell. At that Rhaella looked at the sword and did what she knew, she sticked the man with the pointy end, she was outraged, the man fell and she kept stabbing him. When Jenny saw that Galladon fell, it all came back. All the memories, everything and... she remembered every single thing.
"Gal!" Jenny said and ran to him and knelt near him, he was still conscient, but he was loosing a lot of blood. James saw it and was in shock, Catelyn was next to him and she wanted to go to where her brother was, still it would be too much, James knew it. So he stood in front of her and looked at her eyes and said,
"Look at me. You don't want to see that. Trust me." She started to cry and James held her tightly. "It's going to be alright. I promise." No... this can't be happening, James thought. Thomas looked at him and James nodded for him to do something.
Meanwhile, Jenny was helding the man she loved, who was dying in front of her eyes again.
"No, no, no... Stay with me. Come on, love, stay with me! Don't do this! Please, don't die! They promised me, please!" Jenny said crying, she couldn't stop the blood. He was looking at her and his breathing was fading and she did not know what do. "Stay with me, Gal! Please..." But he closed his eyes, his breath stopped, so did his heart and Jenny's. She just stood there crying and holding him. What had she done? How could she let it happen?
"Jorah, Mia. Get Rhaella." Thomas said as he went to his sister.
"Jen... We have to go. I'm sorry." Thomas said. He can't be dead... Please... Not like this, Thomas thought.
"No. I'm not leaving him." Jenny said.
"I know, I know. But, we have to go." Thomas said. I'm going to kill them all, Thomas thought angry.
"We'll take him." Gerion and Durran said and Thomas nodded and he led his sister to the way to the ship.
Meanwhile, Rhaella was still stabbing the man, she could not stop, neither could Jorah or Mia stop her. Then she heard someone.
"He's dead, Rhaella. It's over." It was Eddard.
"Ned? How is this possible?" Rhaella thought.
"I don't know. But you have to go with your brother and my sister. It's over." Eddard said.
"Gal's dead. They killed him. He died protecting me." Rhaella thought.
"What... I'm sure he knew what he was doing. Just come home and please bring him home." Eddard said.
"I will. Thank you, Ned." Rhaella thought.
"You're welcome..." Eddard said and she did not hear him anymore.
Rhaella stood up, she looked her brother and said,
"Get them out of here. I'll meet you in the ship."
"What..." Jorah said.
"I know what I'm doing. Please." Rhaella said and Jorah nodded and then everyone went to the ship.
Rhaenys, having felt Rhaella's enraged mental call, come flying around and landed in front of Rhaella, she climbed into the dragon and said,
"Vlad." The dragon took off and she led her to the House of the Undying. Once there, she looked at the House with hate and fire in her eyes and said like it was the easiest thing in the world,
"Dracarys." The fire begun. This is for my family... for my cousin, Rhaella thought watching the flames burning down the entire thing.
