I CRAWLED OUT OF THE TENT I SHARED WITH FREDDIE THAT NIGHT, Freddie following me out as soon as I stood up outside, I stretched my arms over my head, letting out a long yawn. Everyone else started to wake up and exit their tents as well, "Morning," Naomi said as she stood up outside the tent she slept in, which was the one Freddie was supposed to sleep in with Katie, but obviously that didn't happen. Emily exited the tent as well.
"Good morning," Freddie said to her with a yawn. I looked around the group, noticing Katie was absent. I blink my eyes pretty harshly, trying to get the sleepiness out of them as I tried to figure out where she was.
JJ was scanning the group, but, his mind wandered to two others instead of Katie, "Has anyone seen Pandora or Thomas?" He questioned us, I shook my head in response.
"Where's Katie?" Emily noticed the absence of her sister first, "I thought that she would be with you, Freds," She looked over at us, I nervously shuffled away from Freddie.
"She's probably still asleep," Freddie shrugged off her absence. Then I started to worry when there was no sign of her, not in any tent, nobody knew where she was, she could actually be hurt or lost.
Effy walked over to Pandora's tent, she unzipped it, peeking into it, I looked over my shoulder at her, noticing Pandora in her tent, she looked as if she had been crying all night. "Thomas has gone home, he's gone... I want to go now, please," Pandora said to Effy in-between labored breathing as she cried.
"We've got to find Katie, Panda," I told her, "Make sure that she's alright," She nodded slowly to agree with her.
"Maybe she went home with Thomas?" Effy said to group, but, the rest of us didn't buy it. So we started to search for her in the woods. Shouting out her name as we looked around every corner we could. Effy walked up to Freddie and I, she seemed nervous, "Freddie?" She asked him, he turned to look at her.
"Yeah?" He turned around to look at her, he had hopeful eyes, I guess he had hoped that she found Katie or heard her.
"Nothing- uh, she had left with Thomas, right?"
"Yeah, ok..."
After a bit more searching, we ended up just giving up, all convinced that Katie just left last night with Thomas. We all packed up and piled into the car, I sat next to Freddie, even though we tried to seem distant, ignoring the fact we shagged last night. Freddie glanced over to me a couple fo times, forcing a smile. It wasn't too long before Effy pulled over to take a piss. I watched as she walked into the filed, taking out her phone, the whole thing seemed suspicious to me. "How long does it take to have a wee!" Naomi shouted out to Effy after a few minutes.
Effy turned around quickly after she heard this, "Coming!" She shouted back, rushing over to the car once again. Getting back in to drive us all home. I was relieved to go home, growing tired of the woods and the drama. I was ready to sleep or relax. Something like that.

After getting home, I sat down on my couch, smoking a spliff while watching the telly. I flicked the spliff into an ash tray that sat on a table next to the couch, that's when my phone rang, I looked down, Freddie's name flashed on the screen, I picked up, "Fredikins... What's up?" I said into the phone.
"They found Katie... She was in the woods all night alone, she was knocked out, she had to get nine fucking stitches in her head... I should of went after her- did you see how upset she was I- can you come to the hospital?" Freddie sounded exhausted, it was obvious he was pretty upset over the situation.
