Today is the day. Steven's 21st birthday. The day he has been waiting for. The day he will finally get everything he desires.

The timing couldn't be more perfect. The colonies are thriving, the planet coming out just as he imagined it. He has so few duties today that the entire evening is free for him to enjoy. He has everything prepared. While you're enjoying the garden, Steven changes into his new outfit, something he acquired not long after he chose you to be his servant. He fiddles with the collar as he admires his new look in the mirror.

Because the humans had been under Pink Diamond's rule for years before Steven's birth, there was no need for them to have luxurious clothing. Pink not only had plants and animals for her garden, but had also collected human clothing and various artifacts for her viewing pleasure. Steven would walk into the room where the clothes were put on display and admire the different colors and styles. Pink must've been intrigued by it all, since she had so many pieces on display.

What he's wearing now is known as a 'tuxedo', something boys would wear for special occasions. He has found himself becoming fascinated by human culture and the ways of romance; He is half human, after all. Tonight is the night he's going to put what he has learned into action.

Steven walks down the hallway towards the ballroom, his Amethyst solider that he requested standing there stoically. He gestures to her, "I have a job for you." Steven smiles almost deviously as he speaks, "My dear princess is in the garden right now. Take her back to her room so she can prepare for the evening." He commands.

The Amethyst salutes, her firm footsteps fading away as she heads towards the garden.

Steven enters the ballroom, checking to make sure everything is in place and ready for your arrival. He picked up a bouquet of pink roses, looking down at them with a blush on his face. He holds one of the rose buds in his hand gently. "Oh my dearest princess, tonight you'll finally be mine~"

You make your way to the entrance of the garden, waving goodbye to the animals as the Amethyst solider waits for you. You aren't sure what's going on. It's very rare that you're escorted by another Gem other than Steven himself. You remember your place, not questioning the situation as you follow the Amethyst back to your room. You give her a look of confusion but keep your mouth shut as you step inside.

Finally, the Amethyst utters, "Your Diamond requests that you prepare for the evening. I'll escort you to the ballroom once you're ready." The door shuts before you can respond.

You turn on the lights so you can see better. "Prepare for the evening?" You think out loud. You have no idea what that means. Your pondering is cut off by the discovery of something on your bed. There's a dress laying there alongside a note.

My dear y/n, I have something very special planned tonight for us. Please change into this dress and meet me in the ballroom~

You swallow nervously, your mind racing, trying to figure out what he's talking about. You believe it will be best not to keep him waiting for too long and change into your new outfit. The dress is pink (of course) with beautiful lace sewn throughout. It's less poofy than your maid's dress but is also shorter with a revealing back.

You give yourself one last look in the mirror before leaving. You readjust the tiara on your head, trying to make your hair lay the way you want it to. Your face turns red upon seeing just how much skin is showing. No amount of tugging at the dress will change that. You sigh and decide to just deal with it, exiting your room after a final deep breath.

The walk to the ballroom is full of tension. For some reason, you have this chill creeping down your spine as you wonder what might be inside those doors. Steven has been getting more affectionate towards you recently, and you feel a slight nervousness thinking about just how much more loving he's becoming towards you.
