A week later, I just got off the phone with Y/n and she said that she is coming over to help me pack.

I heard the doorbell and as I got downstairs, I saw Y/n talking to Amie. She was wearing a denim overalls with a plain black top and sneakers. She looked over at me and smiled. "Hey Y/n." I said. Amie chuckled and she said,"You two  look so innocent." "What is that supposed to mean?" Y/n asked. "Nothing." Amie smirked and walked off. Y/n raised her eyebrow and I shrugged. "Come on, I have boxes upstairs already." I said. Y/n smiled once more and ran up the stairs with me.

Elijah and I began packing his things into cardboard boxes and I helped him tape them close. Ethan came to help us put the things in my car and Elijah gave me a small smile as we stood in his room when he saw all his things packed into my car, his room empty with only his furniture inside. All his clothes and possessions were in boxes. "I never imagined myself moving in with my girlfriend. I have to admit that." He said as he stood beside me and put an arm around my shoulder. "Love, you didn't imagine yourself with a girlfriend too begin with." I said and he chuckled. "True. I thought I was going to be alone forever. Yet, here I am, about to move in with my girlfriend, the best woman I've ever met." Elijah said and I blushed. "Aww." I said and he kissed my forehead. "You are acting as if we are going to get married." I joked and Elijah said,"Well, if you want, we can g-" "To fast. We've only been dating for six months. Six months." I said and Elijah laughed. "Don't worry. I want this to work out, so I'll take it slow." He said and smiled. I smiled back and Elijah said," Come on, let's say bye to everyone and get going."

"You sure you two won't need help?" Ethan asked. "We are sure. Thanks for offering." I said. He smiled and me and gave me a hug. "I'll be praying for your sanity." He whispered and I laughed. "Hey! What are you two whispering about?" Elijah asked after saying bye to Amie. "Nothing." We said in unison. Elijah eyed Ethan and said,"Well, I'll send you messages later, Ethan." Ethan smiled and hugged his brother. I always found myself smiling when I saw the Best twins hugging each other. They were so close and I remembered how they were in high school, the only thing that had changed is that they grew closer.

In the car, Elijah was talking excitedly about the room that I prepared for him. "Just keep in mind that it's not as large as your old room." I said and Elijah said,"I don't mind. It's bigger than my old room in my parents house. As long as there is enough space for me to work." "Of course! Your room is slightly smaller than mine." I said. "Why do you get the bigger room?" Elijah whined. "Why do you want the bigger room?" I asked. "I don't know." Elijah said and I rolled my eyes. "It's not to late to drive back to your house and kick you out of the car, you know." I said and Elijah laughed. "You wouldn't do that." He chuckled and I raised an eyebrow. "Right? You wouldn't do that, would you?" He asked and frowned. I looked at him quickly before looking back on the road. "Of course not, you dork! Why would I do that?" I asked, smirking and he chuckled.

The rest of the day, we worked hard unpacking and organising the room for Elijah, his new bed already in the room. "Oh! A carpet would look really nice here." I said and pointed to a spot on the floor. "Yeah. However, I am not sure what colour." Elijah said as he looked around the room, full of empty boxes and personal belongings scattered around. "At least you'll be able to sleep in your bed tonight." I said and he nodded.

Unpacking the last of Elijah's things, we began to take the boxes downstairs to throw them away and began discussing on what to have for dinner. "What about Wendy's?" Elijah asked. "Elijah, you can't eat so much fast food. It's unhealthy." I said and looked at him. "Oh no! Another Amie! Take me back home!" Elijah joked and I rolled my eyes. "I am not kidding Elijah." I said and Elijah said,"I know. Don't worry, I'll cut back on the fast food, alright?" I nodded and he smiled at me. "Then what are we going to have for dinner?" He asked. "I don't know. Let's see what I have in the kitchen." I said and he followed me to the kitchen.

We found some pasta in my cupboard and I began to cook, Elijah sitting on a kitchen stool. "I did not expect us to finish unpacking in one day, to be honest." Elijah said. "I didn't either, but I suppose it's because it was only your things that we needed to unpack. We didn't need to unpack fifty boxes." I said. "Fifty?" "I am exaggerating, Elijah." "Oh." I sighed and said,"Sometimes, I wonder about you." Elijah laughed and I smiled at him.

We sat by the table and ate our pasta and Elijah said,"I am glad I get to live with you." I smiled and said,"Me too. I miss you, even if I don't see you for a day, I miss you. It might be being clingy, but yeah." "No, that's just missing your boyfriend." Elijah smirked and I smiled.

We laid on the couch and watched a movie before I fell asleep.

After the movie, I noticed that Y/n was sleeping so I decided not to wake her unless I wanted to spend the first night here on the couch. I picked her up gently and carried her upstairs.

Placing her in bed, I took off her shoes and closed her, kissing her forehead before leaving the bedroom. I closed the door behind me and went back downstairs to turn off the TV.

I climbed into my bed and smiled when I thought about Y/n. 'Am I lucky or what?' I thought and smiled even more. I most probably looked like a fool, but I didn't care. Y/n made me happy, and I was beyond excited to be able to see her every day. 'Cheesy.' I thought and fell asleep.
