***Phone rings***
Williams: Hello?
Unknown: Drop the case or die!!
Williams: Hmmm... I think I'll call you when I have no balls left.
*** Williams ends call******Phone rings again***
Manager: Hello Mr. Williams, the staff has been converged.
Williams : I'll be there in a minute.
***Call ends***Detective Williams entered the hotel and was greeted with about a 100 people who could be suspects. " During the time of arrival and death of Emily, where were you? " asked Detective Williams to the cleaner. " I was on the ground floor mopping the reception. " replied the cleaner . " Did you ever converse with Paul? " he asked the cleaner again and he said, " Not really, I spoke to him once, that was before the arrival of Emily... He needed some detergent for some reason I don't know till this day. ". The same questions were asked to all the staff members and 5 people were questioned further for they could also be suspects, a maid, two service men and two drivers and they were going to be sent to the station for questioning.
Detective Williams went through the list once more and saw transportation, servicing of vents and maid service during the arrival and death of Emily Sanders. He immediately dashed to Emily's hotel suite to check something vital. He looked at where the body used to lay and where the vents were and the vents were in front of the position making it very suspicious. He asked the service men, " During the servicing, did anyone climb into the vent? " and one service said, " Yeah, a guy we had never seen... He claimed to be Brian's brother and was also a service man at the harbour. " Where is Brian? " asked Detective Williams and the service man said, " We haven't heard from him since the day of the murder. ". Detective Williams asked to be directed to the service site and when he reached there he began to search the dumpsters and corners near the site. " Oh shit,.... Detective!!! " shouted a serviceman who had spotted a dead body behind a dumpster. Detective Williams dashed to the body and removed the cloth used to cover it, " Is this Brian? " asked Detective Williams and the reply just made his thoughts clearer, " Yes... Oh My God!!! " said the service man and moved away from the body. Detective Williams called more officers and the whole hotel was made a crime scene and was closed till further notice.*** Detective Williams thinks***
" Everything seems to add up... Mrs Sanders was killed with no footprints or clues, she died face down on the floor with a glass in her hand, a shooter killed a service man and crawled into the vents and the vents also lead to Emily's hotel room... Hmmm I think I'm have to talk to that Room Service personnel. "
3:30 pm
Detective Williams walked into the head office and immediately went to the interrogation room where Paul Simons had been handcuffed and made ready for the interrogation.***Interrogation begins***
Williams: Hello Paul... How are you feeling?
Paul : I feel like bullshit!!!... You don't have any shit on me.
Williams: You are a prime suspect of the murder of Emily Sanders so you better be a good boy or you spend the rest of your life in jail.
Williams: Now, who were you working with to kill Emily?
Paul: I wasn't working with anyone and I wasn't there to kill Emily.
Williams: Then what were you doing at the hotel?
***Paul Sighs***
Paul: I came to make a delivery to a man on Emily's floor.
Williams:What is his name?
Paul: He didn't mention... this customer was weird because we never met, he didn't even speak to me on the phone but kept on sending goons to deliver his message and even at the hotel, he made me leave it at the front door.
Williams: What did you deliver to him?
Paul: ...A...
Williams: A what?
Paul : A silenced pistol!!!
*** Williams crosses his leg and watched Paul with suspicion***
Paul: I know you suspect me but I'm innocent.... Please!!!!
Williams: When Emily called for room service, what did she order?
Paul: She ordered some more of the champagne we left for her in her room which was strange because no-one placed champagne in her room.I
Williams: Which room was the customer in?
Paul: Room 526
*** Interrogation ends***Detective Williams walked out of the interrogation room and drove back to the Pleasure Hotel and immediately asked for the name of the customer who booked Room 526. " Her name is Sarah Topez... She booked it for a week but because we were closed down, she was eradicated. " said the receptionist.
5:45pm
Detective Williams had driven to Brooklyn which was were Sarah's mother lived and when he got to her house, he parked, knocked the door and flashed his badge on the young lady who opened the door. " Sarah Topez... May I speak to you in my car? " asked Detective Williams and she immediately agreed.
***Conversation begins***Sarah: What did I do now?
Williams: Why did you illegally buy a gun and have it delivered to you in a hotel?
***Sarah tried to open the door and ran but the doors are locked***
Sarah: I'm sorry okay... I needed the gun!!!
Williams: Did you plan on killing Emily Sanders?
Sarah: Nooo... Spikes told me to buy the gun so that the wouldn't trace him.
Williams: So you are one of his goons... Who is Spikes?
Sarah: He is a drug dealer who I met at the club.... I told him I needed a job and all this shit happened.
Williams: Hmmm.... So if you didn't kill Emily, then who did?
Sarah: I'll bet you that Spikes killed her because she was going to expose him or something... Emily was a reporter you know.
Williams: You are under arrest!!!
Sarah: What!!!... No!!!***Detective Williams knocked her out with his gun and drove her to the station***
7:37pm
Detective Williams sat at his desk, trying to put the pieces together but it looked like nothing actually added up but then it hit him, what if it wasn't only one murderer but different people trying to kill Emily for different motives.
Detective Williams laid his head on the table and closed his eyes to gain a quick nap for he was very tired.#WKD_FOR_LIFE
