HOMICIDE

INTERCEPTION

The men outside came into the house and split up to look for Detective Williams. Detective Williams corked his gun and got ready for the gun battle but as he was about to shoot a man who was checking the kitchen, the siren of police cars were heard in front of the house. A concerned neighbour called the police immediately he heard gunshots and the police were at the front door commanding the shooters to come out unarmed.
" Shit!!!, Let's get out of here!!! " shouted one shooter and they dashed out of the backdoor and over the fence leading to another neighbour's yard.
"The others got away but this asshole couldn't cause he was in good hands" said Detective Williams to the police and they took the man to the station for questioning with Detective Williams following to make his statement.

1:30pm
" I'm asking for the last time, who sent you?!!! " shouted Officer Pulaski as he interrogated the man caught in Detective Williams house.
***Interrogation continues** *

Man: I ain't telling shit to you assholes!!!
***Pulaski punches him in the face***
Pulaski: You wanna play rough... Fine I'll play rough.
***Pulaski picks a bat from under the table***
Man: Hey!!!, Don't do anything crazy.
Pulaski: Too late!!!
*** Pulaski continuously hits the man with the bat* **
***He spits blood***
Man: Please stop I'll tell you everything!!!
Pulaski: Start talking!!!
Man: Me and my guys received a phone call from a mysterious caller who had a deal for us... He told us to take out the Detective and he sent us 10,000$.
Man: But I don't know him or where he is.

Pulaski sighed and went out of the interrogation room and met Detective Williams who was watching the whole thing from the glass which separated the rooms. " I believe you heard every thing so what's your move now? " asked Officer Pulaski and the replied he received shocked him, " I'm going to continue with the case. " said Detective Williams.

8:30am
Detective Williams pulls up in front of the Pleasure Hotel and went into the building. A list was given to him on all the activities that went on during the time Emily entered the hotel and died. As Detective Williams examined the list he glanced on a room service order from Emily's room. " Who delivered the room service to Emily? " asked Detective Williams and the manager said, " Some new guy who we hired that very day but he quit some few hours ago. ". Detective Williams commanded the Manager to organise a staff  meeting, asked for the name of the guy and dashed out of the hotel as fast as possible.
***Phone dials**
Williams: Hey, Rose can you get info on a guy called Fred Simons?
Rose: Sure give me a minute.
***Few minutes later***
Rose: He was a gun specialist  and was arrested for supplying guns to gangsters in Philadelphia. His address is Hse 52, Lincoln street
Williams: Hmmm interesting ...I'll get back to you Rose...Thanks.
***Williams hangs up***

Detective Williams pulled up a few blocks away from Paul's house and  walked to the door. He hid his badge, his gun and other police related material and rang the bell.
A tall man about 6.5 feet opened the door and said, " Can I help you? " and Detective Williams replied, " I need some guns. " . Paul looked around to see if anyone was around as he looked, Detective Williams glanced into the house and it was completely empty with bags full of clothes and valuables. Paul let him in and he sat on a chair close to the front door. " It looks like someone is skipping town...Are you? " said Detective Williams and Paul said, " Yeah, shit has gone hot so I'm going to chill for a while till things go cool again.
***Conversation starts***

Williams: I need a Tech9 and a rifle
Paul: Wow, what do u need such firepower for?
Williams: Classified.
Paul: Okay Terminator, meet me in 3 days tops with 15,000$ and you get the guns
Williams: Anyways, I heard you killed some lady in some hotel with no trace...that's cold.
Paul: Hey, I didn't do shit, I don't know why people this days are such fuckers!!!
Williams: Then who did?... You were the room service guy and no one else accessed the room except you... So who?
Paul: Man... It's complicated... Wait why you asking such questions...Are you a cop?
***Paul pulls out a pistol from his jeans***
Williams: Chill man I'm just...

Detective Williams speared Paul to the ground and confiscated his gun but while Detective Williams got the handcuffs, Paul rose up from the ground and punched him in the face. Paul grabbed his belongings and dashed out of the backdoor and Detective Williams chased him.

VROOOM!!!
Paul dashed out the yard on a motorbike. Detective Williams hopped into his car and the pursuit continued but as Detective Williams got closer to Paul, he would take shortcuts through narrow paths which made it difficult for Detective Williams car to get through.
"Shit!!! " shouted Detective Williams, his car had gotten stuck in one of the narrow lanes and his chances of catching Paul had reduced drastically. He came out of the car and luckily saw a bicycle close by. He hopped into it and paddled down the lane but to his surprise, Paul was being handcuffed by an officer and a blockade of cars was made in every path which Paul could escape from. " Detective Williams!!!... You look surprise, I knew you would need some help . " said the lady walking towards Detective Williams. " Rose you never stop amusing me... Thank you ." Rose nodded her head and drove away in her car.

10:59 am
" What is happening?... Why are reporters outside? " asked Detective Williams and the receptionist at the police station said, " The prisoner who was brought it this morning has been shot dead sir. ". Detective Williams hurried to the crime scene and saw the man who broke into his house lying dead in his cell with a bullet in his head. Officer Pulaski, who was already at the scene, watched the dead body in disgust and said, " I think there is a mole in the police force. " Detective Williams looked at him closely and said, " Yes...Yes there is. "
