CRASH!!!!

The doors of the head office fell to the ground and the sound of the fall woke up Detective Williams who had overslept and was still in the office. " What's going on, he asked himself and got up to see but he immediately ducked when he saw men with guns, three gallons of kerosene and lighters.
" Torch the whole building!!!... We have to destroy every file in this damn building . " announced the leader and they began to pour kerosene all over the desks, cabinets and any other item which was in the building.

***Phone dials***
Woman: Fire service... How can I help you?
Williams: There is going to be a  fire at the NYPD head office so hurry...

*** Call ends***

Detective Williams pulled out his gun from a pouch and crouched slowly to avoid the men from seeing him. He aimed at the head of one man and was about to pull the trigger but the man saw Detective Williams just in time and crouched.He began to crawl downstairs but Detective Williams quickly held him and pointed the gun to his head. " Be quiet... Or u will be eating bullets. " threatened Detective Williams for the man was trying to yell. " Derrick, Derrick !!! " shouted another man who was looking for the man in Detective Williams custody.

BANG!!! BANG!!!
Detective Williams shot the man in the chest and as he fell dead, his SMG  kept on firing. Two more men came upstairs and corked their guns immediately they saw their partner dead. Detective Williams threw the captive man towards the two men and they shot him at once due to their quick reaction to the situation. " Shit!!!... We shot Derrick!!!! " shouted one man and his accomplice immediately pushed down a button and the fire lit on the lighter. " Come out now or I'll burn this place to bits!!!! " screamed the man and Detective Williams thought of what to do next. The whole building had been bathed with kerosene so if he shot the man, the place will still go up in flames. He hid for a minute or two and decided to escape. " How I'm I going to pull this off... Wait, the armory has loads of weapons!!! " said Detective Williams to himself. He cracked open a vent silently  and began to crawl down to the armor but as he was crawling down, one of the men heard the noise Detective Williams was making in the vents and began to shoot at the vents. They followed the sound to the third floor and broke the door leading to the armory down.

BANG!!!!, BANG!!!!, BANG!!!!, BANG!!!!!

Detective Williams shot multiple bullets into the body of the two men with  M16 rifle. The fire service later arrived at the scene and dealt with the flammable substances and the police also came to the crime scene.
" They wanted to burn out files, clues and any traces we have to the Killer of Emily Sanders. " said Detective Williams who was making his statement and later drove away.

8:27am
Detective Williams badged into Pulaski office and found him packing his things from the office. " Pulaski, where are you going? " asked Detective Williams and Pulaski looked into his eyes with fear and said, " I have taken a transfer from New York City to another state. ". Detective Williams asked him once again, " The criminals that broke into the office really knew the office like they were workers here... How do you think that is possible for they even knew where the armory was? ". Pulaski looked at him and said, " Emmmm.... I don't know but I would suggest the mole in the department we were talking about last time. " . " Yes, Yes it may be but I think you are that mole. " announced Detective Williams and Pulaski suddenly said, " What?.... How can you think that? "

*** Conversation continues***
Williams: The day you interrogated the shady man, I saw you where surprised to see him like as if you knew him.
Williams: The day we spoke,  I noticed a blood stain on your shirt and it looked like you had a struggle with someone cause you also had a scratch on  his hand.
Williams: You were also the last to leave the office yesterday and the security cameras showed you holding a file in your hand which I suspect to be the blueprints of the office.
***Pulaski slowly slides his hand to the table***
Pulaski: You are right... I am the mole but the truth is you weren't the target... The manager was next but you kept on interfering so we had to cut every loose ends.

BANG!!!!
Pulaski fired a bullet into the shoulder of Detective Williams and dashed out of the office and down the stairs. Detective Williams laid on the floor bleeding continuously and other officers came into the office and quickly sent him to the hospital.

1:35pm
Detective Williams woke up in the hospital and tried to remove the needles from his body but immediately his wife who was sitting by his bed held him down and smiled at him. Detective Williams looked at her in surprise and asked, " What are you doing here? " . Diana( his wife) said, " Rose told me what happened and I couldn't bare letting you go through this alone. " and  Detective Williams said, " Where is Miley?... and I told you to stay at your mother's place. " . " Miley is with my mom and I knew you were in trouble. " said Diana and Williams sighed with relief. He talked to his wife for an hour and a half and they were interrupted by the doctor who was taking care of Detective Williams. " Hello sir, How do you feel? " the doctor asked  and Williams replied, " I'm fine but I hope I'm being discharged right away... Right?" .
*** Doctor lowers his head and the conversation begins***

Doctor: Mr. Williams, you lost a lot of blood when you were shot and you almost died if we hadn't saved you in time.
Doctor: I'm sorry but we have decided to keep you here for some time just to regulate your blood pressure and check if anything is wrong with you.
Williams: How long I'm I going to be here.
Doctor: Let's say a month.

Williams immediately new that if he stayed for a month or more, the case would be taken from his hands while he was almost close to solving it.

Williams: No I cant be here for even a week.
*** Diana interrupts***
Diana: But dear, it is for your own good.
***Doctor leaves***
Williams: I love you dear but I can't stay here.
Diana: I know darling, that's why I'm pleading with you to stay here... Please.

Williams sighed and nodded his head in agreement but he had something planned which his wife had no clue of.
