Diana had left the hospital to go and check up on her daughter and Detective Williams was still planning his escape from the hospital.
***Phone rings***
Williams: Hello?
Rose: Sir, How are you feeling?
Williams: fine... But I have to get out of here.
Rose: I found out something about the case... Sarah's statement.
Williams: What did you find out?
Rose: Sarah mentioned something about Spikes and I found out something about him.
Rose: He is wanted in three states for his drug dealing and was arrested last year when his location was exposed by Emily Sanders.
Rose: He escaped prison and hasn't been found.
Williams: That gives us a motive.. Did u find anything else.
Rose: No... But I looked into Emily and found out she exposed a lot of people and one of these people was the Manager of Pleasure Hotel.
Williams: Hmm... Interesting... I'll call you back.
***Rose hangs up***

Williams pulled out the needles from his body and checked if the window was open. He opened the window, crawled out of it and pressed his body to the building. He was at the third floor of the hospital so he had to find a ladder or anything he could use to get to the ground. He saw a ladder at the end of the floor and slowly moved to it but a nurse who was in the next room saw what was going on and alarmed the others. Detective Williams quickly moved to the ladder, climbed down and dashed out of the hospital compound. He had no money on him so he walked to his house and changed his clothes but to his surprise, his car wasn't in his garage and he remembered it was in the office underground parking lot.
He picked up a cab to the office and met Rose in her office. " Mr. Williams, I taught you were supposed to be in the hospital. " said Rose but Williams did not answer her and said, " Where does Philip Conner stay? ". " He stays in the hotel at the last floor, ROOM 784. ".

7:18pm
Detective Williams pulled up at the hotel and immediately went to the last floor to have a talk with the Manager. Detective Williams knocked on his door and the receptionist opened the door half-naked  and screamed when she saw who it was. Philip immediately dashed to the door with a surprised look on his face. " Get out!!! " commanded Philip to the receptionist but Detective Williams immediately pushed her back in the room and entered.

***Conversation begins***
Philip: I didn't expect you to drop in, I would have been in a more suitable look.
Williams: That isn't necessary... Both of you please take your seats.
*** Philip and the receptionist take their seats***
Williams: Did you know Emily Sanders was a reporter?
Philip: Emm... Yeah but how does that involve me?
Williams: She had some dirt on you and you knew about it right?
Philip: She had some private info about my past and wanted to blackmail me so I gave her a free access pass to my hotel at all times... Fucking bitch!!!
Williams: Mr. Philip do you know a man named Spikes.
Philip: What?... Spikes?... Never heard of him... How I'm I supposed to know him?
Williams: The info Emily had about you involved you meeting a drug dealer and your shady business in Los Angeles
Williams: You sold drugs in your club and Spikes was your supplier so when she exposed you, she blackmailed you but she published that story two days later and you spent two years in prison right?
Philip: Emm... I don't know what you are talking about.
Williams: When you were released, you started up this hotel and got a new identity.
Philip: What you are saying is complete bullshit so get out of my house.
Williams: Mr. Philip I need you to Follow me to the station for questioning cause you are a main suspect.
Philip: Bullshit!!!... I ain't going anywhere.
*** Philip grabs the receptionist and places a kitchen knife on her neck***

" Move back or I'll kill her with no hesitation. " announced the manager. " But Babe I thought you loved me? " said the receptionist and she began to weep. Philip with his hostage moved out of the hotel room and locked it from behind which led to the trapping of Detective Williams in the room. " He is locked in my room, finish him off!!! " announced Philip to someone he was speaking to on his phone.

7:53pm
BANG!!! BANG!!!

Bullets were shot into the room from the outside and Detective Williams crouched behind the couch. The door opened and a masked man walked in to be tackled by Detective Williams and they both fell to the ground.

BANG!!!
Another bullet was shot as Detective Williams and the masked man struggled with each other but when he was about to grab the gun, the man punched him in the face and pointed the gun with the intention of finishing the job. Detective Williams quickly kicked the masked man's knee and he went down which have Detective Williams the opportunity he needed. He punched the man in the face and the ceramic mask broke, showing half of the man's face. The man got up and took to his heels and Detective Williams dashed after him.
The man kept on shooting at Detective Williams as he tried to escape but he missed because the elevator door closed just in time. " Shit!!! " shouted Detective Williams and he raced down the stairs to the ground floor. Floor after floor he raced down the stairs but he knew he couldn't move down faster than the elevator but his misfortune turned when someone stopped the elevator at the third floor.

BANG!!!
A gunshot was heard at the third floor and Detective Williams dashed towards the once again closing elevator but this time was able to get in before it closed. The masked man had shot the officer who had stopped the elevator and as he was closing it, Detective Williams  dashed into it and grab his gun before he did anymore damage. Punches flew from each side and the masked man huge body favoured him during the fight and he pushed out Detective Williams from the elevator when they got to the ground floor. He held him by the hair and dragged him to the road but Detective Williams grabbed his legs and pulled on it causing the masked man to fall to the ground. Detective Williams punched the man in the face continuously until the other half of the mask broke and the man's face was completely visible. " You are under-arrest... Oh shit!!! " shouted Detective Williams before he was interrupted by a truck which was about to hit them. Detective Williams rolled out of the way just in time but the masked man who was almost knocked out did not make a move and the truck went over his body and he died.
Detective Williams watched the dead body in disgust and called Rose for assistance.
